Hello I'm TheWetWaffle and welcome to my seventh battle. Today we have two groups of warriors who have killed for different reasons but raise anarchy in the process. The Resistance, the force colliding against the Security in their attempts of liberating the Ark and contacting the outside world will be fighting The Jokerz, the gang fighting the Batz all over Gotham after the Joker's incarceration. Both of these warriors will go head to head but one question remains, WHO IS DEADLIEST?
Resistance[]
After the rise of sea levels, a man made structure called The Ark was made. The Resistance is the rebel group of the Ark who have been trying to make contact with the outside world but have been stopped by The Security, the Ark's law enforcement group. They are lead by Joseph Chen, one of the men who helped construct the Ark but rebelled after some key decisions The Security and The Founders made like trapping The Ark's refugees. He has since lead The Resistance and has since lived in poverty while The Security have lived in wonderful conditions. Even their attire shows that they wear very poor clothes, like torn jerseys. Throughout Brink, The Resistance have sabatoged, held men prisoner, and even blew up the Founders Tower. Depending on the ending, The Resistance have made it out of The Ark but Chen's popularity reduces heavily.
There are 4 classes: Soldiers, Engineers, Operatives, and Medics.
The Jokerz[]
After The Joker was incarcerated in Gotham City, his henchmen have spread all over and were renamed The Jokerz. They are a diverse group as they have male and female members of various occupations. From students to garbagemen, if you are brutal enough, you can become a member of The Jokerz. They fight the rival gang The Batz all over Gotham in different locations including The Gotham Docks, ACE Chemicals, and The Amusement Park. Their attire is similar to The Clown Prince of Crime, as they wear white face make up and purple clothes.

Combat Experience | 91 | 87 |
Training | 41 | 17 |

Physical Health | 69 | 88 |

Explanations[]
- The Resistance gets the edge for Combat Experience, as they fight a trained armed force (The Security) while The Jokerz primarly fight The Batz, a mere rival gang.
- For Training, The Resistance gets the edge. The Jokerz are just a bunch of ordinary people with guns and a desire for The Joker. Meanwhile The Resistance is an actual armed rebellion with some possibe form of training.
- The Resistance question Chen's moral fiber and are hesitant in some of their missions. The Jokerz meanwhile love killing others and show some enjoyment in the chaos.
- The Jokerz take Physical Health. They aren't living in poverty with a lack of food, clean water, and aren't surrounded by disease like The Resistance. At the same time though, The Resistance can do some pretty nice parkour.
- The Resistance are a lot more mentally healthy. While they do question some of their leader's actions, they are a lot more ready for battle and aren't as crazy as The Jokerz.
- In Brink, you have to work with your allies to complete missions. This means that The Resistance must cooperate with each other while The Jokerz don't really work together.
- The Jokerz don't really have access to many guns. They mainly use gag and joke weapons like an improvised katana and a gun that shoots needles. Meanwhile The Resistance have to scavenge for ammo and guns due to their limited access otherwise. It's even for me.
Edges[]
- Melee: The baseball bat is a pretty sturdy weapon with a decent reach and can even break bones. The hatchet meanwhile has a bladed end, which means that you can cut off limbs and bladed damage can always do a lot of damage. In the end, the bladed weapon is superior.
Edge: The Jokerz
- Short Range: Both of these guns shoot the 9x19 Parabellum round and have a capacity of 17 rounds. Heck, the Cherokee is a copy of the CZ-75 series. It's even for me since they are practically the same gun.
Edge: Even
- Mid Range: The Vector shoots the always reliable .45 ACP round and is a pretty solid gun. But the Micro Uzi is lighter, shoots faster, and has more range. In the end, the Micro Uzi is the superior weapon.
Edge: The Jokerz
- Long Range 1: The Dawn Patrol and FAMAS are pretty good guns. The FAMAS is lighter, has a bullpup design, and has a fast rate of fire. The Dawn Patrol is accurate, doesn't drain it's magazine as fast, and has a faster muzzle velocity. In the end, the Dawn Patrol is the gun that gets the edge.
Edge: The Jokerz
- Long Range 2: The SKS-D is a pretty old weapon, about 70 years to be exact. It's lighter than the M14 MCS but fails in every other catagory. The M14 more modern, shoots the stronger round, most likely has a faster rate of fire, is selective fire which means that you can go full auto, and is the more accurate weapon.
Edge: The Resistance
- Special 1: The Trap-In-The-Box and Landmine are pretty much the same. Both are proximity activated bombs that go off in a certain distance. The Trap-In-The-Box has a Bouncing Betty style to it which can surprise the enemy but the Landmine goes off instantly which is more practical. It's dead even for me.
Edge: Even
- Special 2: The Molotov is not a practical weapon, as the fiery shrapnel can hit you or an ally once you throw it. At the same time, it's unpredictable and the fire stays for an extended period of time. The Shuriken can only hit one person but is pretty reliable in the end as it doesn't hurt you. In the end though, The Resistance gets the edge due to their ability to attack more people.
Edge: The Resistance

The Ark
A boat was adrift on the ocean, just floating and shifting. Inside there were six members of The Jokerz, who were in need of land. There was a huge flood that wiped out Gotham but they were able to get a boat.
"Where the hell are we?" One of them asks.
"I don't know!" The captain says "Ask the guy who threw the map!".
"Hey, it's not my fault!" The clown says "Bozo over there set it on fire.".
"I was cold!" The goon said in defense.
They were about to start arguing when the captain sees something over the horizon.
"SHUT UP! LOOK!" The captain says. Pointing what he sees, what he saw was a bunch of containers but they were dry land.
"Go to there!" one the gang members commands. They go to shore and what they see isn't pleasant.
"This place smells horrible!" one of the gang members says.
"That's one big wall," one gang member says as he looks in awe. "Why is it here?"
Meanwhile, six Resistance members placed an explosive charge there as a trap for any intruders. The charge blows and sends two gang members flying back. Both members survive but then get pelted by M14 and FAMAS bullets.
Jokerz: 1234
The remaining members spread out from the explosion. One Resistance engineer sets down a landmine in a tight corridor but then gets shot in the chest by a Joker's Dawn Patrol.
Resistance: 12345
The Joker continues to walk through the corridor but his legs get blown off by the landmine.
Jokerz: 1234
Another Joker sees a Resistance member and opens fire with his Micro Uzi. Bullets are flying towards the man but he manages to score a hit in the head.
Resistance: 1234
A Resistance member with a Vector sees the Joker and opens fire, hitting him in the arm. The Joker's Micro Uzi dropped out of his hand and he takes out a shuriken. He tosses it but it does nothing as it barely scathes him and he tears the Joker's chest and abdomen apart with his Vector.
Jokerz: 123
In another area of the map, a Resistance soldier see two Jokerz. He knows he may not be able to take out both with his Cherokee Bul pistol so he lights up a Molotov cocktail and throws it. One Joker is engulfed in flames.
Jokerz: 12
The other Joker sees where the Molotov came from and opens fire with his SKS-D. The Resistance member returns fire with his Bul but that does little. He manages to pierce the sheet metal the soldier was hiding behind and hits him in the spine.
Resistance: 123
The Joker notices that he's out of ammo and takes out his CZ-75 SP-01. The Resistance member with the Vector pops out of a corner with his gun but the Joker runs to cover. The Resistance member shoots at the Joker but runs out of ammo. The Joker pops out of cover. "Damn..." the Resistance whispers with an Irish accent under his breath before he is shot in the eye.
Resistance: 12
A Resistance member overhearing the ruckus hides under a staircase. The man takes out his Bul and waits for for someone to come. He sees a man come down the stairs and points his pistol at his head. He then notices that it is one of his allies and lowers it. They move forward but see a Jack in The Box in the middle of a path. One of them approaches it, thinking it was harmless but gets blown up by the stick of dynamite that was in it.
Resistance: 1
A Joker hears the explosion and runs to it but he sees a Resistance member. He aims his Micro Uzi but no bullets are produced. He begs for mercy before getting shot in the chest a bunch of times.
Jokerz: 1
The Resistance member turns around and sees a Joker with a hatchet found in the waste of Container City. He quickly avoids it and tries to shoot his pistol but he notices he's out of ammo. He then falls on the ground as the Joker prepares for the killing blow but gets cut off but a baseball bat hitting him in the leg. This was a baseball bat seen as an icon of the Resistance and Chen gave it to this member as a reward. The Joker falls but still slashes at the Resistance member, cutting him it the arm but not hitting an artery or cutting it off. The Resistance member then hits him square in the temple. The Joker falls to the ground and The Resistance member proceeds to bash the goon's head in with the bat.
Jokerz:
The Resistance member raises his bat and victory and cries "FOR THE ARK!" before walking away from the carnage and mourning his fallen brothers.
WINNERS: RESISTANCE
Expert's Opinion[]
While The Jokerz's outlandish nature played a part in this fight, they were just ordinary citizens with guns and a love for The Joker compared to the Resistance, who were an armed rebellion. Add in X Factors like the fact that the Resistance have fought a tougher opponent and have better training and you have the reason why they walked away the winners today.
Next Time...[]
