Nijimura Brothers vs Hitman Bros

Throughout JoJo's Bizarre Adventure there are many candidates to be used to Brogust but I decided to take it a bit more literally. So today we have a battle between one pair of actual brothers and a pair of probably not brothers but certainly have a brotherly relationship. And just to add more broitude to this battle one of the actual blood related brothers is also widely considered the JoBro of his part. And now I very much think I've run the word Bro and all it's variants into the ground so let's jump right in as;

The Nijimura Brothers: Stand user brothers, searching for a way to free their father from his horrific curse.

vs

The Hitman Bros: Stand user hitmen, who betrayed the don of Passione to seize control for themselves.

Who is Deadliest

The Nijimura Bros[]

Keicho Nijimura

Keicho Nijimura
My plans are on a level beyond your comprehension. Just you wait, in the end, it will all go according to my plan.
— Keicho Nijimura

Keicho Nijimura had a tough life. His mother died when he was young and his father fell into a deep depression and often took his anger out on Keicho and his brother Okuyasu. His father, also a Stand user, sold his heart and soul to DIO in exchange for riches but after his death was turned into a mutant creature by a mind control spore implanted by the vampire. Keicho came into possession of a Bow and Arrow which can turn normal everyday people into Stand users like him. Desperately wanting to put his father out of his misery but unable to himself, Keicho went around shooting random people with the bow in the hope of creating a Stand user with the power to kill his father.

Stand: Bad Company

Bad Company
Everyone! Get in position! JoJo! Say hello to my Stand "Bad Company", the invincible army!
— Keicho Nijimura

Bad Company is a mid range, swarm stand. It is made up of 60 patchwork soldiers (which includes an unspecified number of green berets), 4 Apache Helicopters and 7 M1 Abram Tanks all scaled down so that at a first glance they just look like a child's toys. The Soldiers are armed with miniature assault rifles and combat knives and the green berets also possess grappling hooks to move around their terrain more easily. While not the same power as a regular rifle the bullets are still able to puncture human skin with small but deep wounds. The Helicopters are also armed with machine guns but also have missiles which are powerful enough to disable a persons arm and the Tanks shells are presumably at a similar power level. Bad Company also comes equipped with land mines with enough power to severely injure a persons leg enough to stop them from moving.

Bad Company's main strength is when all of it's units are concentrating their fire on one target. They are able to effortlessly shoot down any projectiles thrown at Keicho as long as they see it coming and the combined power of all the infantry and vehicles is enough to blast away a wall. However Keicho must commit to either offence or defence in order for Bad Company to do either effectively. Unlike most Stands damage to an individual unit does not also harm Keicho but it is unknown if simultaneously destroying all units at once would kill Keicho too.

Individual X Factors[]

  • Experience

Keicho only has one fight prior to his death, against Josuke. However given his methodical and calculated nature it is safe to assume that he has at the very least practiced with it before.

  • Intelligence/Creativity

As mentioned above Keicho is very methodical and knows how to use each of the units that make up Bad Company works and how to best use them. He was smart enough to predict what moves Josuke was likely to make during their fight and plan out ways to counter them. He was also quick to react to Koichi's newly found Stand abilities and determine if it was a threat or not as well as being the only one to notice it cracking after it first appeared.

  • Composure

Keicho was able to keep his cool during his fight with Josuke, reacting to each new development without becoming panicked. However it should be noted he had already set up all his units before hand and planned out the encounter heavily.

  • Brutality
Keicho was fully committed to his goal of finding someone to finish off his father and had no qualms about killing people with the bow and arrow in order to possibly awaken their Stand or killing anyone who attempted to take the Bow and Arrow from him.

Okuyasu Nijimura

Okuyasu profile
I'm not that smart, okay? I just do what my heart tells me to do.
— Okuyasu
Okuyasu Nijimura grew up always listening to whatever his older brother Keicho told him to do and aiding him in his quest to create Stand users. Confronting Josuke outside his home he was defeated and later saved by Josuke from being accidentally killed by his brother and after Keicho's death he and Josuke became good friends, protecting Morioh side by side.

Stand: The Hand

The Hand
I'm just dying to erase your goddamn existence, you little shit!
— Okuyasu Nijimura

Okuyasu's Stand is called The Hand. The Hand take son the appearance of a robotic humanoid with a pair of notable bumps on it's right hand. Classified as a short-range Stand the Hand can only be projected a maximum of two meters away from Okuyasu. It's abilities are as follows;

  • Erasing Ability: The Hand's main ability is to erase the existence of objects or people. This ability is concentrated in the Hand's right hand and when it performs a swiping motion it erases whatever is in it's path. Objects which have been sliced with the Hand appear to have been sliced through with an incredibly sharp blade and once an object has been erased it cannot be recovered or restored. When erasing something physical the "voided space" is filled up by adjacent space and objects, essentially removing any sign that the object existed. However, this doesn't always happen as The Hand has been shown leaving empty craters in the ground. The main drawback is that this ability can only be used in a highly telegraphed swiping motion which makes it easy for a fast moving opponent to avoid it or simply grab the arm and stop it from completing the swiping motion.
  • Teleportation: The Hand doesn't simply erase physical objects but also the empty space around that object. A byproduct of this is that the Hand can erase the space between itself and an opponent to bring them closer to it or bring Okuyasu closer to the opponent. This makes it very hard for any opponent to simply stay out of the Hand's normally short range and Okuyasu can also disarm people of weapons or objects using the Hand as well.
  • Superhuman Physicality: As well as it's erasing capabilities the Hand is also a very physically powerful stand. It is strong enough to match the strength of Crazy Diamond, propel Okuyasu upwards and punch dents in reinforced steel. It can also throw a fast barrage of punches in a similar fashion to Crazy Diamond albeit not quite as rapidly.

Individual X Factors[]

  • Experience

While Okuyasu had a fair number of fights across the course of Diamond is Unbreakable, as of this point in the series his only fight we have seen him get into was against Josuke, who defeated him fairly quickly.

  • Intelligence/Creativity

Okuyasu is a self confessed idiot and as such often doesn't think through things, preferring to brute force his way through fights. He does however show some flashes of brilliances, such as being able to use his Stand to effectively teleport by scraping away the area in front of him or recognizing the danger of Stray Cat and using his Stand to take it away from Kira.

  • Composure

Okuyasu is brash and quick to anger which greater hampers his ability to stay calm in a battle, often to his own detriment.

  • Brutality
Despite making plenty of threats about killing people, Okuyasu is much too kind hearted to actually do it and is content to simply beat the shit out of them.

Okuyasu and Keicho fight over the arrow
  • Team Experience

Keicho and Okuyasu don't actually fight together in series, the fight against Josuke is done firstly by Okuyasu and then Keicho once Okuyasu has been defeated although Keicho was instructing Okuyasu during his fight with Josuke.

  • Teamwork

Keicho sees Okuyasu as an idiot and a burden and as such the "teamwork" they have is mostly just Keicho telling Okuyasu what to do and Okuyasu then doing it.

  • Stand Synergy
Despite their lack of in series teamwork, the Nijimura Brothers Stands actually do compliment each other fairly well. The Hand is a physically strong stand and so works well as a distraction which Bad Company could use to get into position. Bad Company would also be useful for protecting Okuyasu as he has to be physically present alongside The Hand when using it.

Hitman Bros[]

Prosciutto

Prosciutto-removebg-preview
We don't need to say "I'll kill you"... because by the moment those words come into our minds... our target's already dead and the deed is done! That's why we don't use those words.
— Prosciutto to Pesci

Prosciutto is a member of La Squadra Esecuzioni, the assassination division of the criminal organization Passione. Dissatisfied with their lack of pay compared to their fellow gangsters who ran more profitable aspects of the business, Prosciutto and the rest of La Squadra defected from Passione in order to take control themselves going after the Boss' daughter in an attempt to figure out what his Stand power was. Prosciutto along with Pesci was dispatched to ambush Bucciarati's team on a train. The more confident and competent of the two, Prosciutto took charge but was outwitted by Bucciarati and thrown from the train. However he was able to keep himself alive just long enough to give Pesci a chance to finish the job, dying mere seconds before Pesci himself was defeated.

Stand: The Grateful Dead

Grateful dead-removebg-preview
What's the big deal, anyway? Every year, passenger planes crash all around the world. This won't be as brutal as those!
— Prosciutto on the effects of his Stand

Prosciutto's Stand, The Grateful Dead, is a humanoidish looking Stand, notable for having only the top half of it's torso and walking about on it's arms. The main ability of Grateful Dead is to accelerate the aging of living organisms, both physically and mentally. The effects of the aging include wrinkling, causing teeth to loosen and fall out, bones and joints shrink, worsening their senses and causing mental degradation, eventually leading to the effected party turning into a rotting corpse. This ageing also effects the spirit as Stands have been shown weakening when exposed to the effects of Grateful Dead as well.

The rate of aging is effected by temperature with those who have a cooler body temperature being less effected by the aging process. Ingesting ice or pressing it against an effected area can stop the aging although this is only a temporary solution as once the area begins to heat up again the aging will start once more. Physical activity will also cause body temperature to rise and further accelerate the aging process.

The ageing can be done in can be done in one of two forms. The first is an area of effect which has a large enough range to effect an entire passenger train, slowly aging all those within the area as per the parameters explained above. It does so indiscriminately, putting Prosciutto's allies in danger as well and requiring them to have a source of ice to keep themselves safe. The second way is by Grateful Dead physically grabbing the person Prosciutto wants to effect and this greatly increases the rate of aging so the effected party ages almost instantly. Prosciutto himself is mostly immune to the effects of his Stand although he can age and de-age himself as he wishes.

Individual X Factors[]

  • Experience

It's unknown how long Prosciutto has had his Stand and how long he has been working as an assassin although it must have been at least a few years. His only fight in series is against Mista and Bruno alongside Pesci.

  • Intelligence/Creativity

Prosciutto is a very perceptive individual, quickly picking up that Bucciarati had collected something before getting onto the train and figuring out the secret of Coco Jumbo from the information he could gleam from Pesci. He is also able to apply this intelligence to combat, tricking Bucciarati into expelling more energy by making his Stand seem weaker than it was as well disguising himself as an old man to get the drop on Mista.

  • Composure

Prosciutto is calm and collected when on a mission, not letting any setbacks effecting him and keeping a cool head at all time. Even after being crushed under the wheels of a train he was still able to muster up the willpower to keep his Stand working.

  • Brutality
An assassin by nature, Prosciutto has no qualms nor hesitation when it comes to killing someone, even being willing to kill an entire train of people just to achieve his goal.

Pesci

Pesci Alone-removebg-preview
I get it now, Prosciutto! I understand your resolve, not through your words but through your spirit!
— Pesci, after evolving into a Chad

Pesci is a big mammoni. Paired up with Prosciutto whenever he is sent out on assassination missions, Pesci was unusual among the members of La Squadra as he has never actually killed anyone. While tracking down Bucciarati's Team on a train, his lack of confidence in his own ability almost lead to disaster however he was saved by Prosicutto, who encouraged him to trust in his own abilities and not panic. After Prosciutto's incapacitation, Pesci was able to channel his spirit and finally find confidence within himself, coming dangerously close to killing Bucciarati and his team before ultimately being thwarted.

Stand: Beach Boy

Beach bou-removebg-preview
My hook should be going deep inside your ears right now!
— Pesci, on his Stand

Beach Boy, takes on the form of a fishing rod which Pesci physically holds in his hands. Pesci can phase the hook and line of Beach Boy through any object, whether it be walls or human flesh. When the hook makes contact with a target, Pesci can latch onto them with the hook and either move it through their body towards a vital organ or reel in his catch. Generally Pesci prefers to aim for the arm of his target and move up towards their heart for a safer and guaranteed kill but he can also target the heart directly with a straight shot. The pull strength is only as great as Pesci's own physical strength however the victim will quickly tire themselves out fighting against the elastic line. The line itself reflects any damage done to it back to the person snared on the hook and this includes Stand abilities such as Bucciarati's zipper creation.

What makes Beach Boy especially effective is how sensitive it is and it can transmit information back to Pesci. Even without being latched onto someone it is able to tell Pesci the number of people in a room by detecting their heartbeats which makes it useful for scouting out an area. When it is latched onto someone Pesci can figure out a wide array of information such as the targets weight, what part of the body he is targeting, their position down to the centimetre and even the actions they are taking.

Individual X Factors[]

  • Experience

Much like Prosciutto the extent of Pesci's time as an assassin is unknown although he has been with La Squadra at least two years. That being said he had never actually killed anyone up until his one and only fight in series so quite what he was doing all that time is anyone's guess.

  • Intelligence/Creativity

Pesci is reasonably intelligent and capable to coming up with some clever strategies such as hiding Beach Boy's lure within the air-con in case anyone tries to turn down the temperature. He isn't particularly perceptive at times however relying on Prosciutto to piece together where Bucciarati and his team were hiding. He is also hampered in this regard by his lack of confidence, causing him to doubt himself and dismiss otherwise clever observations as him just being stupid.

  • Composure

Pesci is a coward at heart and is quick to panic when things start to go wrong, even dropping his Stand and screwing up a guaranteed kill after the ice that he was using to resist Grateful Dead's effects was destroyed. That being said he was able to mature and become a cool and calm killer but this was only after Prosciutto was effectively killed by Bruno.

  • Brutality
Pesci talks a lot about killing people but as stated above he never actually killed anyone until the fight against Bucciarati. He clearly does have it in him to kill someone but getting himself psyched up to do it is another matter.

Pesci and Prosciutto Wholesome
  • Team Experience

Prosciutto and Pesci are never seen apart and have presumably been on assassination missions before however in series they only fight together in one battle.

  • Teamwork

Much like with Keicho and Okuyasu, Prosciutto is the one who takes charge in the partnership with Pesci mostly just following his instructions although the pair show more ability to use their Stands in tandem with one another.

  • Stand Synergy
Grateful Dead and Beach Boy compliment each other very well and it's not wonder Prosciutto and Pesci are paired together. Grateful Dead provides a good distraction to keep the attention off of Pesci and gives him more opportunities to make use of Beach Boy's tracking capabilities. Beach Boy meanwhile provides a quick way of finishing off an opponent that the Grateful Dead lacks.

Voting System/Notes[]

Battle is set prior to the events of Diamond is Unbreakable for the Nijimura Brothers and prior to the events of Vento Aureo for Pesci and Prosciutto.

Half the battles take place in the Nijimura Household and the other half take place on the train from the Grateful Dead arc.

In order to be counted in full, votes must be at least 5 lines long or have been done in an edge format.

Anything less than 5 lines but which is competently argued and thought out will be counted as a half vote. I will inform anybody if their vote is considered a half vote and allow them to amend it to bring it up to a full point.

Irrelevant votes will not be counted at all.

I reserve the right to award a vote as half or discount it entirely for reason not mentioned here if I feel it is applicable.

Battle[]

“Are you sure this is the place Bro?” Pesci asks, looking at the run down house in front of them.

“Yes. This was the one in the picture we were given,” Prosciutto replies. He pushes open the gate and walks into the front garden, with Pesci scurrying after him.

“I just can’t believe someone who owns a Stand arrow would live in such a crappy looking house,” Pesci continues.

“Maybe they don’t want to attract attention to themselves, like the Boss,” Prosciutto says as he eyes up the building. The windows are boarded up but there are gaps which someone could use to look out of. “Pesci, use Beach Boy to see if there is anybody inside,” he orders. Summoning his fishing rod, Pesci casts the line out through the nearest wall and begins searching for any signs of life.

“There’s nobody on the ground floor,” Pesci says. “Second floor is also clear. But there is someone on the top floor. 165 centimetres tall and 110kg in weight. Do you want me to eliminate them, Bro?”

“No. We need to know if the arrow is actually here. Bring them down here and we can question them,” Prosciutto says

“Okay Bro.” There is the sound of banging and clattering as the person is dragged down the stairwell before the front door bursts open and a grotesque green monster flies towards the pair. Pesci immediately panics, releasing his grip on the rod which dissipates and frees the monster.

“Pesci! Calm the hell down,” Prosciutto shouts.

“I’m sorry Bro. But I wasn’t expecting there to be a monster” Pesci says, sweat dripping down his head.

“Pull yourself together you big Mammoni.” Prosciutto approaches the monster, which is writhing about on the floor. “Where is the Stand arrow?” he barks at the creature but it doesn’t respond, instead it starts crawling back into the house.  “I don’t think we’re going to get much out of this thing,” Prosciutto says.

“Oi. What the hell do you think you’re doing,” says and angry voice from behind. Prosciutto and Pesci turn to see a teenager in a school uniform striding out from round the back of the property.

“And who are you?” Prosciutto asks.

“Okuyasu Nijimura. I live here. And I asked you a question asshole. What do you think you’re doing?”

“We’re here for the Stand arrow. Give it to use and there won’t be any trouble.”

“Yeah right. As if I’m going to just hand it over dumbass. My big bro isn’t just going to let that happen. And I can’t let you get away with hurting my dad like this.” Okuyasu runs at the pair and Pesci summons Beach Boy, flicking the hook at him. The Hand appears in front of Okuyasu and scraps at the hook with it’s right hand. Pesci moves the hook around it but is surprised when Okuyasu suddenly teleports right in front of him. He slams a kick into the assassin, sending him reeling away before carrying on towards Prosciutto.

“GRATEFUL DEAD” he shouts and his Stand appears. Sensing the power around the right hand it dodges the swing from The Hand and sends a barrage of punches into it’s torso. The punches are not particularly strong however and Okuyasu grins.

“You think you can defeat me with a Stand that weak,” he says triumphantly. The Hand moves in to attack again, forcing Prosciutto to back up. Okuyasu suddenly feels a sharp pain in his hand and looks down to see the hook of Beach Boy slowly inching up his arm. “Ha, you’ve made a big mistake you dumbass. The Hand will easily cut through this line.” He swipes at the fishing line but rather than be erased there is a flash of light which travels down the line towards the hook. He his left arm lighten and when he looks, he sees it has been sliced clean off. “What the hell,” Okuyasu shouts in surprise as he looks at his severed arm lying on the grass. “You bastard. Look what you did to me. You’ll pay for this.”

He runs at Pesci, who desperately tries to reel back in his hook which was still lodged in Okayasu’s now severed arm. He is too slow however and with his uninjured right hand he slams a punch into Pesci’s face, knocking him flat on his ass. He summons the Hand and swipes at Pesci who scrambles away on the ground. Okuyasu follows after him but he feels a wave of tiredness come over him as he approaches. He wipes his brow with his hand and notices his skin has gone all wrinkled like he has been in the bath for too long. Pesci too notices that he has begun to age and he glances over at Prosciutto who is approaching with Grateful Dead.

Okuyasu collapses to his knees as the aging process begins to increase as Prosciutto gets closer. He tries to use the Hand but that too has been effected and his attempted attack is easily avoided. Grateful Dead grabs onto Okuyasu directly, quickly shrivelling him up into a decrepit old man. “Pesci, finish this kid off,” Prosciutto orders. Beach Boy pierces through Okayasu’s ribcage and into his heart, where with one strong tug, it is ripped out of his chest.

-----

Watching from a second floor window, Keicho watches as his brother dies. “All those years I tried to teach you, make you stronger” he says quietly, tears welling up his eyes. His expression quickly hardens however and he blinks away the tears and clenches his fist. “I should’ve known he wouldn’t be able to handle this. This is what happens when you are weak and stupid,” he thinks to himself, ignoring the lump in his throat. He watches as the blonde man in the purple suit tosses something to the cowering man on the floor. On close inspection it appears to be an ice pack and Keicho watches as the man rubs the pack over his body, noting that his wrinkled skin and become unlined and clear.

“So it appears the blonde man has the ability to aged people. But ice seems to reverse it. So it looks like if I keep cool then the effect of the Stand won’t hurt me much,” he muses. He turns the AC system down to the lowest temperature before gathering Bad Company’s units around him. “Now let’s deal with these thieves” he says.

-----

“I’m sorry Bro. I panicked again. Just like I always do. I really screwed up, didn’t I?”

“No you didn’t. You gave me the distraction I needed for Grateful Dead to be able to have it’s full effect. You did well Pesci.”

“You really think so Bro?” Pesci says his face lighting up.

“Yes. All you need is more confidence. Isn’t that what I always tell you,” Prosciutto says.

“So now we just need to go and get the arrow right Bro?”

“Not quite,” Prosciutto says. “Do you remember what the kid said? Before he attacked us? He said ‘my Big Bro won’t let this happen’. Which means there is somebody else here as well. Pesci, are you sure that there was nobody else inside the house apart from the green creature?” Prosciutto asks.

“I’m not sure. I might not have checked every single room. Or maybe they weren’t in the house. Afterall the kid wasn’t that’s why I Beach Boy didn’t detect him,” Pesci says.

“Good thinking Pesci. I want you to check the house again, just to make sure there isn’t anybody else in there. And if there isn’t have it check around the outside as well.”

“Sure thing Bro!” Pesci says. As Beach Boy does another sweep of the house, Prosciutto hears a faint buzzing sound in the distance. Initially dismissing it as just a bee or a dragonfly it gets steadily louder however and when he looks in the direction of the noise, he is surprised to see a miniature attack helicopter floating in the air above. There is a flash and a missile shoots towards Prosciutto, forcing him to bring out Grateful Dead to defend himself. The missile slams into Grateful Dead’s arm and Prosciutto grunts in pain as a bloody hole is blown in his own arm.

“What’s going on Bro?” Pesci asks, looking over and jumping slightly as he sees the helicopter. “Are you alright Bro?” Pesci shouts anxiously.

“I’m fine Pesci, just focus on the house. Try and find the user.” Prosciutto orders. The helicopter opens fire with the machine guns attached to it’s nose and Grateful Dead swipes away all the bullets before lunging at the helicopter but it simply hovers away out of it’s effective range. Meanwhile Pesci gets a reading from Beach Boy.

“Bro. I think I’ve found someone. They’re-.” Pesci notices movement in the corner of his eye and sees several green toy army soldiers appear out of the grass. They crouch down into a formation, raise their guns and fire. Pesci cries out in pain as the bullets hit him in the arm and Prosciutto turns his attention away from the helicopter briefly to see what the commotion is about.

“Don’t panic Pesci, have you found the user?” he says as calmly as he can manage.

“I think so I had a reading of someone. Might have been the monster though. I really don’t know,” Pesci stammers as he moves closer to Prosciutto.

“Well we need to make sure. I’ll try and take the heat from the helicopter and the soldiers you just focus on ensnaring whoever is in that house.” Just as he finishes his sentence, he notices more soldiers emerging from the grass around him and from around the side of the house comes a formation of miniature tanks.

“There are so many of them!” Pesci screeches. The tanks come to a stop and fire at Pesci who retracts Beach Boy from the house to try and defend himself. However the elastic wire is unable to stop the shells and he puts his hands up to his face to protect himself from the impact. After a few seconds pass and he hasn’t been hit, he nervously moves them out of the way to see Grateful Dead has positioned itself in between him and the shells. He looks over at Prosciutto who is backing away from the soldiers marching towards him, defenceless.

“We can’t stay out here or we’ll be blown to pieces. Come on.” Prosciutto says. He dashes towards the house with Pesci following close behind. Once inside Pesci drags a cabinet down to block the doorway. Prosciutto stands leant against the wall and Pesci notices for the first time the severity of his injuries.

“You don’t look so good Bro! This is all my fault. If I’d just found the user in the first place none of this would’ve happened. I’m such an idiot.”

“Pesci,” Prosciutto says. “You did as well as you could have done. Whoever the user is they’re very careful. He probably saw us fighting his brother and figured out how our Stands work. Have you noticed how cold it is in here?”

“Actually now you mention it Bro it is very chilly.”

“Exactly. The user must’ve turned the AC up in here to counteract the effects of Grateful Dead. “Can you use Beach Boy to try and find the AC system and destroy it?” Prosciutto asks.

“No. My Stand can only detect living things. It won’t work on a machine. And without Grateful Dead my Stand is useless. How are we supposed to defeat this guy?” Pesci says trembling.

“No Pesci, your Stand is strong. And you are stronger than you realize. You can do this. I believe in you,” Prosciutto says.

“I’ll do it Bro! If you believe in me then I will do it!” Pesci says, clenching his fist in determination. “BEACH BOY” he shouts, summoning his Stand once more and casting it out into the hallway. “When I thought I detected something outside it was on the second floor. So I’ll look up there.” There is a flash from the rafters and Prosciutto sends forth Grateful Dead which blocks the bullets with it’s forearms. More units start to appear and he cannot defend himself from the sheer volume of bullets, with some breaking through his defences and scoring hits.

“I’ve found him!” Pesci says suddenly. His excitement quickly turns to a familiar nervousness. “I have a problem Bro.”

“What?”

“He’s using his Stand to defend himself. Every time I try and go for his heart something blasts the hook off course. Without seeing him I can’t really avoid the attacks.”

“Then we’re going to have to go to him. Where exactly is he Pesci?”

“He’s on the second floor. Not directly above us but slightly across to the left,” Pesci replies.

“Okay. We do this together Pesci. I’ll defend us from the Stand; you focus on killing the user.” Prosciutto leads Pesci to the bottom of the stairs, keeping an eye out for any of the soldiers. There doesn’t appear to be any and the pair ascend the stairs. As Prosciutto puts his foot on the top of the stairs there is an explosion and he recoils back. His foot has a bloody hole blown in it and he also topples backwards down the stairs but Pesci is there to keep him steady. He peers at the floor and sees a line of miniature mines. “Be careful of the mines Pesci,” Prosciutto says. He sweeps them aside using Grateful Dead before carrying on to the room.

The door is shut and rather than opening it Prosciutto instead uses his Stand to smash the door down. Inside is Keicho, sat on a chair and surrounded by the units of Bad Company. “You should’ve ran when you had the chance,” he says coldly.

“All you needed to do was hand over the bow and arrow. That is all that we’re here for. I’m injured and pissed off but I’m still willing to let you live if you just hand it over. Or else you’ll end up like your brother.”

“My brother was an idiot and a weakling. I won’t ever let you have the bow and arrow.” Beach Boy shoots forward and the nearest units open fire on it and the line twists and turns around to try and avoid the bullets. More of Bad Company’s units open fire on the two assassins and Grateful Dead swoops in to defend them. The hook moves ever closer to Keicho until it is only a few inches away. Suddenly Pesci cries out in pain and the line buckles and swings widely, veering away from Keicho and imbedding itself in the wall. Pesci looks around in shock at several units of Bad Company which had been hiding underneath a dresser. Distracted he doesn’t notice the tank manoeuvring around and it fires off a shell. Prosciutto tires to send Grateful Dead to intercept but he is too slow and the shell hits Pesci dead in the chest, sending him flying into the wall.

With Pesci seemingly dealt with, Keicho turns all his attention to Prosciutto. Under the relentless onslaught of the entirety of Bad Company he is quickly overwhelmed and backs up against the doorframe, blood pouring out of the numerous wounds on his body. “It’s over,” Keicho says triumphantly. “Everything went according to my plan. Your foolish friend is just as weak as my brother was. And now I will get my revenge for him and keep the bow and arrow.”

“Everything went according to plan did it.” Keicho’s eyes widen in shock as he looks over at Pesci who is slowly getting to his feet. “I was never aiming for you with my hook. I just needed to make you think I was. But my actual target was the AC system.” Keicho looks around at the control panel in the top corner of the room, which has Beach Boy’s line trailing out of it. “I disabled it. Haven’t you noticed yourself aging?” he continues. Keicho looks down and sees his hand has started to wrinkle and decay.

“Bad Company” he shouts, directing them towards Pesci. However because of the effects of Grateful Dead they are slow to respond, too slow and Beach Boy swings around, stabbing through Keicho’s chest and into his ribcage. With a flick of the wrist, his heart is wrenched out of his chest and he slumps over in his chair, Bad Company dissipating into the air. Pesci rushes over to Prosciutto who has slid down the doorframe and sits in a pool of his own blood.

“Bro! We did it. He’s dead. We’ve won!”

“Not quite Pesci,” Prosciutto says, his voice strained. “You must get the Bow and Arrow.”

“Of course. I’ll go and find it. You just stay here and rest.” Prosciutto lays his head back, listening as Pesci rummages through the other rooms before heading up the stairs to the top floor. After a few moments he hears him coming back down the stairs. “I’ve got it Bro! The monster was up there but I ran past it and grabbed it.”

“Well done, Pesci,” Prosciutto says, his voice barely above a whisper. “That trick you pulled was smart, I didn’t even realize what you’d done. I knew you could do it. You just needed to believe.” With these parting words he finally loses consciousness from his wounds, safe in the knowledge their mission has been completed.

Winner: Prosciutto and Pesci

Final Verdict[]

Votes agreed that the Hitman Bros were the more experienced, both as Stand users and also as working as a team. Okuyasu was too much of a loose cannon, with his lack of intelligence and brash nature meaning he would be quick to fall which left Keicho to try and fight two Stand users by himself. The Nijimura Brothers also suffered from having to have a line of sight on their enemies to use their Stands whereas the Hitman Bros could use theirs from a distance and from behind cover, allowing them to simply stay away from the more combat orientated Hand and Bad Company and use their own Stands to attack.
