It's been several months since I've put out any sort of battle, so I thought I would come back with something simple as to get me back in the swing of things. And of course to do that, today I'm going to use none other than one of Old DF's favorite type of warriors....Special Forces! And since I don't want to wax poetic we'll just get on with the battle! On one side we have the Para , India's deadly special forces unit that served their country for over 50 years! . On the other the Special Forces Group , Japan's elite counterterrorist group dedicated to protecting their homeland!

X-Factors[]

It's not controversial to say that Para is clearly the more experienced force. They've operated in multiple wars when required, including the Indo-Pakistani wars and the Kargil War. They also have multiple notable operations under their belt, including Operation Blue Star, Summer Storm, and Cactus. This is unsurprising considering they've been around for 54 years

The Special Forces Group aren't inexperienced knuckleheads, they have served in the Iraqi War, helping to occupy the nation, however their much more equipped to simply defending the nation, unlike their Indian counterparts. And since they've only been around for a little under 17 years, it makes sense as to why they by comparison lack overall experience.

Para go through a very long 3 1/2 year long continuous training period, learning about infiltration/exfiltration, night weapons training, combat diving, assault, room and building intervention, intelligence gathering, patrolling, ambush/counter-ambush tactics, counter insurgency, counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare and more. They also are known for competing in international competitions and conducting joint exercises with other nations.

All Special Forces Group recruits are selected from Rangers from the 1st Airborne Bridgade. Rangers receive nine weeks of training including Navigation, Demolition, Military communications, Waterborne infiltration, Air assault, Survival skills, Mountaineering skills and Special reconnaissance. The SFGp also have JGSDF Camp Narashino to practice various techniques, especially CQC techniques.

Notes/Voting[]

This will be a 10 v 10 battle.

Battle will take place in a small city within Japan.

Successful rebuttals to a vote will result in said vote being halved or being completely disregarded.

You all know what I need for voting but just in case:

Format 1: Detailed edge based vote with good grammar and that isn't just a couple of words or a sentence.

Format 2: At least a 7 sentence paragraph detailing why you believe a certain warrior will win.

I hold the final say as to whether a vote counts or not, guidelines not withstanding.Voting will end when I am satisfied the the quality and quantity of votes.
