Scorpion from MSM render

"Gargan has no principles. He fights for profit."
Untrue. I'd rip Spider-Man's face off for free. The money's a bonus.
— Rhino describing his ally, Scorpion, and the latter responding

MacDonald "Mac" Gargan was a violent criminal who was selected by J. Jonah Jameson for experiments to be capable of destroying Spider-Man. Enhanced by scientific experiments and outfitted with mechanical armor, he would become the "Scorpion," becoming an enemy of Spider-Man before being sent to the prison known as the Raft.

Mac would later be freed by Otto Octavius, a.k.a Doctor Octopus, joining other criminals such as Mr. Negative, Electro, Vulture, and the Rhino in his campaign against Norman Osborn. Scorpion was expected to sow chaos in New York City as part of this effort, in exchange for his gambling debts being wiped. Scorpion took to this task with relish, attempting to poison the water supply before being confronted by Spider-Man. Scorpion would sting Spider-Man with his poisonous stinger, giving him hallucinations of a New York City flooded with poison and of Otto taunting him with his failures.

After freeing himself of the poison, Spider-Man would later confront Scorpion and the Rhino at a shipping yard. During the fight, the two would constantly bicker with one another, considering the other the weak link in the partnership. Both would eventually be tricked into trapping themselves in a shipping container, leaving them for the police.

Me, I'd end it here. But Octavius is paying, and he wants to torture you... which I respect.
— Scorpion
  • Superhuman Physicality - The experiments done on Mac Gargan gave him superhuman strength, durability, and speed, enough to fight on even footing with Spider-Man as well as keep up with a fast-swinging Spider-Man.
  • Scorpion Suit - Mac Gargan uses a mechanical suit with a long, mechanical tail attached to it. The suit has claws that are used for both combat as well as climbing. The suit also has a mechanical tail with a stinger attached to it. The tail is used as a blunt weapon while the stinger has a poison that can be injected or blasted as a projectile. The poison is a lethal toxin that can cause hallucinations and eventually death.

Pitch in his lair

I'd say sweet dreams, but there aren't any left.
— Pitch Black

Pitch Black, also known as the Nightmare King and the Boogeyman, was once a powerful being due to the fear and terror of the dark in the times before the Guardians. Soon after the Man in the Moon created the Guardians of Childhood, bringing light and hope to the children of the world. Fear of Boogeyman began to fade, leaving Pitch weakened to the point he couldn't be heard. Growing bitter due to being forgotten, Pitch vowed revenge against the Guardians and began working to plunge the world into eternal darkness.

Pitch would come to learn of his ability to turn the Sandman's dreams into Nightmares, creatures with the ability to sense fear. Pitch begins his plan to defeat the Guardians by attacking children's belief in them. He first starts by kidnapping the Tooth Fairy's fairies in an attempt to stop her from collecting children's teeth. After the other Guardians assist in the fairy's stead, Pitch directly confronts them, battling them and managing to kill the Sandman. He later sends his Nightmares to destroy the Easter Bunny's warren while distracting Jack Frost with his lost memories. Pitch later meets with Jack in Antarctica, trying to turn him to his side. When Jack refuses, Pitch breaks his magic staff and sends him off a cliff.

Children all around the world begin to stop believing in the Guardians, weakening them and strengthening Pitch. Pitch attempts to kill the one child who still believes but is confronted by the Guardians. The one child manages to get his friends to stand up to Pitch, restoring the Guardian's powers as well as bringing the Sandman back to life. After Pitch attempts to fight the Guardians and is defeated, he vows that as long as there is fear, he will return, prompting the Guardians to reply they will continue to fight him. Pitch's own Nightmares begin to sense his fear however and drag him back down to his lair.

Don't look at me like that, old friend. You must have known this day would come. My nightmares are finally ready. Are your Guardians?

ShenduS3

I am no statue! You stand in the presence of a Demon Sorcerer. I once held dominion over a vast empire, but my subjects betrayed me. They cast a chi spell, which imprisoned me in this pitiful icon, where I have remained for nine hundred years. The twelve magic Talismans, from which I drew my power, were scattered to the winds. Acquisition of all the Talismans will allow me to be free of my confinement and walk the Earth once again.
— Shendu

Thousands of years in the past, Shendu and his fellow Demon Sorcerers terrorized the Earth before being defeated and banished to the Neverworld. At some point, he escaped, leaving his siblings trapped, and created a massive empire ruled from China. Shendu would be defeated and sealed within a statue after his subjects rebelled, with his powers extracted into talismans and spread throughout the world. Shendu would vow revenge for his imprisonment.

In the modern era, Shendu would make a deal with the criminal group known as the Dark Hand, offering them riches in exchange for their service. After procuring all the talismans and gaining physical form, Shendu would double-cross the Dark Hand and attempt to restart his conquest of the world. He would be defeated by Jackie and Jade Chan using a spell to remove the talismans from his body, with the Rat Talisman key to keeping his physical form. In his statue form, Shendu would vow revenge but his statue form would be destroyed.

His destruction in the physical world returned him back to the Neverworld, with his fellow Demon Sorcerers furious with him for not freeing them. To placate them, Shendu offered to return to the physical world as a spirit and possess someone to open each of their portals. The Demon Sorcerers agreed, but place a spell that forced Shendu to remain with the first body he possesses and tracks him. Shendu would end up accidentally possessing Valmont, leader of the Dark Hand. Shendu released every member of the Demon Sorcerers but they were then sealed away. He would later attempt to use the artifact known as the Book of Ages to rewrite history to allow him and his siblings to rule the Earth once more. He would be defeated and the changes are undone.

Later on, the talismans would be destroyed during a battle between Jackie and the sorcerer Daolon Wong, causing all of the powers to enter the body of the talisman's respective animals, except the dragon. Daolon Wong would make a pact with Shendu to resurrect him to retrieve the dragon power but Shendu betrayed him and regained all of the Talismans' power. Shendu would be defeated and turned back into a statue, with the Talismans placed in a secure vault.

When Drago, Shendu's son from the future, absorbed all the demon chi, Shendu was resurrected to fight Drago. Shendu did so poorly until the J-team threw the talismans at him, at which point Uncle and Tohru banished both of them, the talismans, and the demon chi to the netherworld forever.

Crocodile OP render

Dogs that run away to lick their wounds have no right to speak of justice. That is a rule of this sea. Now, why don't you go back to your Marine headquarters and discuss your justice some more?
— Crocodile to Tashigi.

Sir Crocodile was originally known as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Desiring greater power, he started the criminal group Baroque Works to conquer the Kingdom of Alabasta. To this end, he undermined the influence of Alabasta's king by publically defeating criminals before the army could, as well as fermenting a rebellion within the kingdom. His true goal was to gain access to the battleship known as the Pluton to grow his power.

He would come into conflict with the Straw Hat Pirates, easily defeating Luffy several times. He would later be betrayed by his second-in-command, Nico Robin, and would be defeated by Luffy. The revelations of his actions led to the World Government stripping him of his title and sending him to the prison Impel Dawn.

Luffy would encounter Crocodile once again when infiltrating the prison to rescue his brother. Crocodile would offer an alliance with Luffy, which he reluctantly agreed to. Crocodile wished to escape to kill Whitebeard, who was fighting the World Government. During the war, he lost interest in killing Whitebeard and even saved Luffy from certain death to spite the World Government. Afterward, Crocodile sailed to the New World to remain in hiding.

Justice is only for the people who take it.

Killer Instinct - Glacius

Light alone is harmless, but focused light is the most powerful force in the Universe.
— Glacius

Glacius is an alien from a distant galaxy who serves as a galactic marshal under the Alliance of Worlds. Glacius belongs to a race of telepathic beings that can bend molecular structures to create protective shells. This enables his species to adapt to environments easily.

Glacius is called to investigate a faint distress signal from a ship known to have been destroyed several decades ago. Responding to the signal, Glacius finds himself on Earth and soon under attack by technologies far more advanced than the planet is supposed to possess. The ship crashes in Antarctica, where his native shell is destroyed, forcing him to use the ice to create a new body. During this metamorphosis, parts of his ship are removed by Ultratech agents, who were the ones who shot him down. Glacius sets out to punish whoever lured him, as well as prevent the misuse of his technology. Glacius is lured to the Killer Instinct tournament, where he learns it was Ultratech who lured him to Earth and captured his technology.

Soon, however, the threat of the Shadow Lord Gargos looms over the universe, forcing Glacius to team up with other fighters, including Ultratech, to stop the enslavement of the universe.

The alien Glacius is driven by chivalry to protect a young species with potential for greatness.

Zero Z Saber

Even if we Reploids are destined to join the scrap heap when that evolutionary step does come about...We still have to fight... Not only against Mavericks, but against our own destiny as well.
— Zero

Zero was a famous and powerful robot Maverick Hunter and later Freedom Fighter, created by the insidious Doctor Wily (during the timeline of the original Mega Man games) to be his ultimate masterpiece- a Robot Master more powerful than either Mega Man or Bass, intending to use his "masterpiece" to finally defeat the rebellious creation and his long time enemy. Unfortunately for Wily, a flaw in Zero's programming made following orders difficult, and so Zero was sealed away in a capsule, where he was kept deactivated for many years.

Decades later, Zero was awoken in the twenty-second century as a "Maverick", a robot with hostile intent towards humans, and he began to kill anyone who dared to enter Wily's lair. Soon, a group of Maverick Hunters cornered Zero, but after he killed all of them, their leader, Sigma, challenged Zero to single combat. In the fighting, Sigma was able to break what little hold the evil doctor still had over Zero, and defeated the robot, but the fight unleashed Wily's secret Suffering Virus, which infects any afflicted robots with Maverick behavior. Nevertheless, Zero was taken in by the Maverick Hunters, and after a long time of demonstrating no notable hostile intentions, he was recruiting into the team. His raw power and skill with his iconic Z-Blade made him a masterful addition to the team, and he quickly ascended the ranks of the Hunters.

He met Mega Man X during his time as a Maverick Hunter, and the two became life-long friends and partners, often working together to stop their foes and save the world. During this time, the advanced circuitry of Sigma began to fail to protect him from the Virus, and he became a Maverick, leading an army of other Mavericks on an attempt to declare independence and open war. Zero and X would face down and destroy Sigma many times, and put down many of his movements over an incredibly long stretch of time, before Zero discovered that he was infected with the Virus as well. Fearing that he could be spreading it to every Reploid he meets on his adventures, Zero turned himself in for study, where it was discovered that his body had reacted positively to Wily's virus, preventing him from becoming a Maverick and implying the secrets to curing Maverick behavior could be found in his chasis. His mind was transferred out of his original body, only to be reawakened in a new body decades later where he joins the fight against the robot discriminating government of Neo Arcadia.

I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero. I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!

SonicChannelJan2007Silver

I'm going to change the future with my own hands!
— Silver

Silver hailed from a future at least 200 years after Sonic's era. His first appearance was in Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, where his world was mostly destroyed by Iblis, the raw power of the sun god Solaris. Silver and his companion Blaze are informed by a being known as Mephiles that Iblis was awakened by Sonic and that only by killing Sonic can they undo Iblis's destruction. Silver, Blaze, and Mephiles travel back in time but are separated.

Silver would later encounter Sonic in Soleanna and attack him, though he was confused as to how Sonic could be responsible for the world's destruction. Sonic escapes from him to rescue Princess Elise from Dr. Eggman, while he wonders whether it is right to take a life to save the world. Silver would encounter Sonic again but would be interrupted by Shadow the Hedgehog, who fights him. Their battle and use of chaos control open up a portal to the past, where they discover the true origin of Iblis. It is revealed that Iblis was created in a project to harness the energy of Solaris but it went wrong. resulting in the creation of Iblis and Mephiles. Realizing Mephiles lied to him, Silver and Blaze use the chaos emeralds to return to the future to destroy Iblis, resulting in Blaze sacrificing herself. Mephiles would release Iblis in the past and merge with it to recreate Solaris and destroy the universe. Silver, Sonic, and Shadow would use the chaos emeralds to destroy Solaris and erase it from history, erasing the events of the game.

Silver would return later, revealed to be from a future conquered by Eggman Nega. Silver, alongside Sonic and his allies, would defeat Eggman Nega and prevent his plans from coming to fruition. Silver's timeline would once again be thrown into chaos due to Eggman's conquest of the world in Sonic Forces, seemingly killing Sonic. Sonic's friends, alongside Silver, would form the Resistance to fight Eggman but Eggman would conquer 99% of the world. Silver would engage Eggman's new ally, Infinite, in battle but was defeated. Silver would take part in multiple fights against Eggman's forces. After Eggman's defeat, Silver stayed in the present to help rebuild the world before heading back to his timeline.

The Omnitrix is not some toy for your amusement. It's the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, the key to an epic battle between good and evil.
— Tetrax

Tetrax Shard is a member of the species known as the Petrosapien, the species whose DNA is the basis for Ben's Diamondhead form. He was initially a selfish mercenary who cared only for himself and at one point was hired by Vilgax. When he finished the job, Vilgax used the crystal Tetrax stole for him to create a weapon to destroy Tetrax's home planet, leading to him joining a team dedicated to stopping Vilgax. Tetrax first confronted Ben under the alias of "Hoverboard," competing with Kraab and SixSix to obtain the Omnitrix. He reveals his true purpose and assists Ben in defeating the other bounty hunters.

Percy Jackson PJO

Not that powerful, eh? Could have fooled me. You're the son of the Earth-shaker, lad. You don't know your own strength.
— Hephaestus

Percy Jackson is a teenage demigod and the son of Poseidon, God of the Seas. Always a troublemaker, Percy's 6th grade class took a field trip to a Greek museum. There, Percy was attacked by the Fury Alecto. Percy's best friend Grover attempted to lead himself and his mother to Camp Half-Blood, but his mother was killed by a minotaur. In the aftermath of the attack, Percy discovers he is a demigod and that the gods are living among them in the modern world. Percy, because of an ancient vow broken by his father for fathering a child after the Second World War, is blamed for the disappearance of Zeus' lightning bolt. He would then embark on a journey to retrieve it, making allies such as Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase as they made their way across the country. After obtaining it after a fistfight with the god Ares, Percy would learn of a prophecy stating that the world lay in his hands at the age 16.

After this, Percy begins to find a home in Camp Half-Blood, defending and fighting for it. When the sacred tree that protects their camp is poisoned, Percy finds the Golden Fleece and heals her, also bringing back the girl trapped inside Thalia Grace, a daughter of Zeus. He also manages to save Artemis from the Titan general, Atlas, by trekking across the country alongside two of her hunters. Finally, Percy manages to destroy the Labyrinth, a gigantic maze that his mortal enemy, Luke Castellan, intended to use as a means to invade Camp Half-Blood. After the Labyrinth is destroyed, Percy reaches the year where he is supposed to choose between destroying or saving the world. Bathing in the River Styx, Percy leads an army of a mere 40 demigods to attempt and protect Mount Olympus hidden atop the Empire State building from Kronos' armies. Despite numerous allies such as the Centaurs and the Hunters of Artemis, the forces are overwhelmed within days and Kronos, possessing Luke, takes Mount Olympus. However, before he can reach full power, Luke kills himself while the gods defeat Kronos' ally Titan Typhon. Percy is declared a hero, but declines the title of being a god in exchange for the gods to pay attention to their children, as a majority of Kronos' army were rejected demigods.
