Aegon I Targaryen was the descendant of a Valyrian noble who escaped the volcanic destruction of the ancient Valyrian freehold to the island of Dragonstone, off Westeros, bringing with him three dragons, Balerion, Vhaegar, and Meraxes. During the earlier years of his life, Aegon used his dragons in support of the Free Cites of Lys and Myr in their war against the city-state of Volantis. Aegon also visited all of the Westerossi kingdoms, and gathered intelligence about the royal houses, aided by his bastard half-brother Orys Baratheon. At age 25, Argillac the Arrogant, a Westerossi king, offered the hand of his daughter to Aegon, to cement an alliance against his rival, Harren the Black. Aegon refused, and instead arranged for his half-brother Orys Baratheon to marry her instead. Argillac took this as an insult and cut of the hands of Aegon's messenger. In retaliation, Aegon invaded Westeros.
Aegon, along with his two sister-wives (in the incestuous tradition of his family), Visenya and Rhaenys, led a small army across the strait separating the Westeros from Dragonstone, landing on the site of what would become the city of King's Landing and building a temporary fort known as Aegonsfort. The kings of the Westerlands and The Reach, of the houses Lannister and Gardener raised a massive combined army to attack the forces of Aegon, however they were easily defeated by his three dragons in a battle that became known as the "Field of Fire. Aegon's sisters used their dragons to destroy the navy and armies of the Stormlands, while Aegon himself flew to the Riverlands on Balerion and destroyed the fortress of Harrenhal with his dragon fire, killing King Harren the Black and his entire house in the process.
Such was the power of Aegon's dragons that the Arryns of the Vale and the Starks of the North surrendered without a fight. Only the southern kingdom of Dorne was never conquered, putting up a guerilla resistance against two invasions by Aegon, the second of which ended wiht the death of Aegon's sister Rhaenys and her dragon Meraxes in 4 AC. Other attempts to conquer Dorne by later kings would be made, but none succeeded, and the region would remain independent for 300 years, until Dornish princess Eila Martell married Aerys Targaryen, the last Targaryen king, who was shortly thereafter overthrown.
After his victory, he used the fires of his dragon to forge the swords of his many conquered foes into the Iron Throne, an intentionally uncomfortable throne- "a king should never sit easy". Aegon would rule the Seven Kingdoms from Dragonstone, but he ordered the old Aegonsfort demolished, and replaced with a proper capital, centered around the great castle and palace known as The Red Keep. Only the foundations would be lain before Aegon died in Dragonstone, where he would be succeeded by his son, Aenys. The Red Keep, however, would not be completed until the reign of Maegor I.

Balerion the Black Dread was a dragon originally born in the ancient Freehold of Valyria, until he was brought to Dragonstone by Aegon's ancestors, escaping the volcanic destruction of Valyria. Balerion later became Aegon's steed, and was used as the vanguard of his invasion of Westeros, along with the dragons of his two sisters. Balerion was the largest of the Targaryen dragons, being large enough to swallow a mammoth whole, and possessing teeth a large as swords. Balerion's most powerful weapon, however, was his flame, which destroyed the great castle of Harrenhal, killing the castle's builder, King Harren the Black, as well destroying the armies of Houses Lannister and Gardener at the field of fire. The firepower of Balerion and the other dragons was so feared that much of Westeros surrendered without a fight.
Blackfyre[]
Blackfyre was Aegon Targaryen's personal sword, a bastard sword made from Valyrian steel, known for being supernaturally strong, lightweight, and retaining an edge without needing sharpening. The weapon is described as a European-style Longsword, with a double edge and a length of three-four feet.
Aegon's Lieutenant 1: Visenya Targaryen[]
Visenya was the sister of Aegon and Rhaenys, and was born on Dragonstone, the Targaryen stronghold in the Narrow Sea. Following Valyrian custom, she and Rhaenys both married Aegon. All three rode dragons, with Visenya riding the dragon known as Vhagar. Visenya also wielded the Valyrian steel blade Dark Sister in battle.
Harrenhal was burned by dragonfire during the War of Conquest, and all three dragons later deployed at the Field of Fire, where they destroyed the largest army ever fielded against their troops and broke the back of resistance to their rule in Westeros.
Visenya Targaryen rode the dragon Vhagar.
She was the mother of Maegor Targaryen, known as Maegor the Cruel, the third King on the Iron Throne, but he died without issue, so all of the subsequent Targaryen rulers (including Daenerys Targaryen) claim their descent from Visenya's sister, Rhaenys.

Vhagar[]
Vhagar was a dragon originally born in the ancient Freehold of Valyria, until he was brought to Dragonstone by Aegon's ancestors, escaping the volcanic destruction of Valyria. Vhaegar later became Visenya's steed, and fought along side Aegon and Rhanys' dragons. Vhagar was still a formidable foe, even if she was not as large as Balerion. Like Balerion, Vhagar possessed the ability to breath fire, decimating the Lannister Armies and fleet of the Stormland with her flames.
Round Shield[]
Visenya is pictured carrying a round shield similar to a Viking shield. The shield would be made of a hard wood, covered in leather, and possess a metal boss in the center and possibly metal ring around the edge.
Dark Sister[]
Dark Sister was a Valyrian steel longsword, one of several owned by the Targaryens. The sword had a narrower blade and a lighter weight than Blackfyre, suggesting it was forged for a female warrior. Like all Valyrian blades, Dark Sister was supernaturally sharp, strong, and lightweight.
Aegon's Lieutenant 2: Rhaenys Targaryen[]
Rhaenys Targaryen is an unseen character mentioned in the second season. She lived and died centuries before the events of the series, and is not expected to appear. She was the sister and wife of Aegon the Conqueror and helped him in his invasion and conquest of Westeros three centuries before the events of the series. Rhaenys and Visenya were (simultaneously) the first Queens of the Andals and the First Men.
Rhaenys Targaryen was killed during a failed invasion of the Dorne, the only kingdom that successfully resisted the Targaryen conquest, when her dragon, Meraxes, was shot down by a Dornish ballista bolt and Rhaenys fell from her dead mount to her death.
Rhaenys is pronounced "Ray-niece".

Meraxes[]
Meraxes was a dragon originally born in the ancient Freehold of Valyria, until he was brought to Dragonstone by Aegon's ancestors, escaping the volcanic destruction of Valyria. Balerion later became Rhaenys' steed, and fought along side Aegon and Visenya dragons. Meraxes was was the smallest of the Targaryen dragons, but still was large enough to swallow a horse whole and possessed the ability to breath fire. Meraxes died along with Rhaenys in a failed conquest of the Dorne region of Westeros, when Meraxes was killed by a ballista bolt.
Spear[]
Rhaenys is pictured riding Meraxes armed with a roughly five or six-foot spear. While she is pictured with the weapon, it is not clear how often she used it, given its limited use on top of dragon, where most enemies would beyond its reach.
Round Shield[]
Rhaenys is also pictured carrying a round shield similar to a Viking shield. The shield would be made of a hard wood, covered in leather, and possess a metal boss in the center and possibly metal ring around the edge.
Unknown Valyrian Steel Sword[]
The Targaryens were known to own several Valyrian steel swords. No doubt Rhaenys would have carried one into battle, although the name of her sword is not known. The weapon would have the same supernatural durability, light weight, and edge retention capabilities of all Valyrian blades.
Aegon's Lieutenant 3: Orys Baratheon[]
The World of Ice and Fire reveals that Orys Baratheon was Aegon's closest friend and ally. He served Aegon as the first-ever Hand of the King. Aegon offered Orys's hand in marriage to the daughter of the Storm King, Argilac Durrandon, but was rebuffed. Angered at the insult of being offered a bastard instead of a king, Argilac cut off the hands of Aegon's envoys.
When Aegon landed his army at the mouth of the Blackwater Rush, he led a lightning campaign to secure the surrounding area, taking Rosby, Stokeworth, Duskendale and Maidenpool in short order. Orys led the army while Aegon attacked from the skies.
After this victory, Aegon sent Orys and his sister-wife Rhaenys to take Storm's End. Argilac left his castle to give battle in the open, attacking during a torrential thunderstorm to limit the use of Rhaenys's dragon, Meraxes. However, Meraxes instead fought on foot and was still able to inflict carnage on Argilac's forces. Argilac himself was slain by Orys. Orys negotiated the surrender of Storm's End, with Argilac's daughter Argella delivered to him in chains and naked. Orys treated her kindly, later wedding her.
Orys continued to serve as Hand of the King for his nephew Aenys I, who succeeded Aegon I upon his death. Orys later died during one of the numerous local rebellions against Aenys I: many lords hoped that with Aegon the Conqueror dead and his weak son on the throne, they might be able to throw off Targaryen rule forever. These rebellions were crushed by Aegon's ruthless younger son, Maegor the Cruel, who succeeded Orys as Hand of the King.[3]
The relationship between Aegon the Conqueror and Orys Baratheon may be loosely inspired by that of the real-world William the Conqueror of Normandy and Odo of Bayeux, who, like Orys Baratheon, was the Norman conqueror's half-brother and vassal, and upon the conquest of England, was made the ruling earl of an important region of England and was his brother's regent and chancellor in that country.

The Westerossi Longsword is, for all intents and purposes, identical to its European counterpart. The term "longsword" refers to a longer sword than the arming sword, while having the same basic shape of the arming sword, but having a length of up to about one and a half meters, designed more for thrusting, but still capable of cutting. The sword was used from the mid 1300s to the mid 1500s. The weapon was also known as a "hand and a half", as it can be used one or two handed.

The Westerossi knights use a version essentially identical to that of the real-life European counterparts, with a relatively narrow triangular head for piercing armor, and a shaft up to about 10-20 feet long. Contrary to popular belief, the conical lances used by medieval knights were intended for tournament use- battlefield lances looked more like the elongated spears described above.

Aegon's Army[]
Infantry x5000[]
Infantry in the real Middle Ages, as well as in the Game of Thrones/Ice and Fire universe, ranging from well armed and armored men-at-arms to poorly equipped feudal levies. For the purposes of this match, however, the infantry in Aegon's army will all be well-armed and armored with at least a helmet and breastplate, with chainmail covering the rest. Some will have full plate armor.
Pike[]
A pike is, quite simply, a long spear. The first major military use of pikes occurred under Phillip of Macedon, who used a variation of the ancient Greek phalanx formation using pikes or sarissa. This tactic was later used to great effect by Phillip's son Alexander the Great. The pike fell out of favor until the late Middle Ages, when it was found that pikes were effective, cheap anti-cavalry weapons when used in formation, which could easily be used by peasants with little training. As such, pikes were used extensively by the Scots, the Flemish, and the Swiss in the 1300s.
During the late Middle Ages and Renaissance period, pikes became staple of European armies. Pikemen were often deployed in formation with crossbowmen and early firearms such as the Hand Cannon and later the Matchlock Musket, in what was known as the "pike and shot" formation.

Cavalry x2000[]
Given the weapons shown in the images of Aegon, his sisters, and Orys, it can be assumed that cavalry that Orys led into battle were armed and armored much like those 300 years later (featured in the Game of Thrones TV series). Much like the real Middle Ages, cavalry in Westeros are typically wealthier than their infantry counterparts by the simple virtue of the fact that they can afford a horse. Not all of the cavalry, however, would have been actual knights, with some of them consisting of squires, sellswords (mercenaries), and other men-at-arms. The cavalry would have generally had better armor, for the purposes of this match, they will have at least a metal helmet and plate breastplate, with some being clad in full plate armor. Those not in full plate armor will have chain mail and padding covering those areas not covered by plate.

Crossbowmen x 2000[]
Archers and crossbowmen in medieval armies usually had less armor than other soldiers, as their weapons required greater freedom of movement to use. For the purposes of this match, Aegon's archers will have at least leather armor and a steel helmet, with some wearing chainmail or brigandine.
Crossbow[]
A Crossbow consists of a bow mounted on a wooden stock, with a mechanical string holding and release mechanism. This design allows the crossbow to aimed more easily, allowing effective use with minimal training. This design also allows the bow to be held drawn and ready to fire for extended periods of time, and allows for the use of mechanical devices such as stirrups, levers, cranks, and windlasses to pull back the string with greater force than with muscle power alone.

Mangonel x 30[]
A Mangonel is a torsion catapult used during the Middle Ages, using a twisted skein of rope to fire a projectile up to about 300-400 meters. The weapon could fire a number of different types of ammuntion, large rocks being the most common, though infected corpses and flaming projectiles were also known to be fired.

Eleonora Viltaria is a major character in the 2014 anime Madan no Ou to Vanadis. Elen is one of seven Vanadis, legendary female warriors and nobles of the fantasy kingdom of Zchted, armed with magical weapons said to have been bestowed by the first king of Zchted, said to have been a dragon in human form. The Vanadis are "chosen" by magic weapons which appear to before a chosen girls. These weapons are said to have been created by an ancient king who claimed to be a dragon in the flesh, and the weapons were said to have originally belonged to the king's seven wives. The Vanadis each have absolute power over one of seven territories of Zchted, and answer only to the king of Zchted himself.
Elen possesses the magical Longsword Arifar, and is an expert in wielding the weapon in battle. The weapon gives her the ability to manipulate the winds, including using the wind to deflect incoming arrows, summoning destructive tornadoes with the force to destroy three platoons of soldiers in one strike. Elen can even use her powers to levitate both herself and her horse into the air. She also possesses superhuman speed and agility. With these powers, she is estimated to be a match for between 1000 and 5000 normal human soldiers armed with medieval weapons. Eleonora is also an expert in military tactics and strategy. In spite of her strengths, however, she (like the other Vanadis) is far from invincible. Vanadis are can be harmed and killed by physical injuries, much as any human. Eleonora, like the other Vanadis, rely on their powers to evade or deflect enemy attacks, and thus wears no armor. The more powerful abilities of the Vanadis greatly cost the user's strength, and some of the most powerful such a long "cool-down time" that they can only be used once per battle. Elen also refuses to use her most devastating powers, such as her aerokinesis, on normal humans, considering the act dishonorable. Eleonora can also be physically overpowered by a larger, stronger person, if they catch her by surprise or are able to keep up with her superhuman speed.
Elen's life would be forever be changed when she won a decisive victory against the neighboring Kingdom of Brune, only to almost assassinated by Tigrevrmud Vorn, a minor noble of Brune who possessed now magic powers, but was an expert archer. Impresses with his skill, Elen spares Vorn's life, and takes him prisoner, holding him at Lietmeritz. As Tigre's poor territory is unable to pay his ransom. Tigre and Elen became close friends during his captivity. Tigre discovers that both the tyrannical dukes, Thenardier and Ganelon intend to take over Brune for himself after the death of the crown prince and the king confining himself in his castle, and subsequently going mad in grief. Thenardier sends his son, Lord Zion Thenardier to attack Tigre's home province of Alsace. Elen agrees to lead 1000 troops to Alsace's aid. The force, later bolstered by soldiers from Alsace. The combined forces defeat Thenardier's army in a series of battles, culminating the Battle of Molsheim, where Elen and Tigre personally fight in the battle, Tigre personally slaying Thenardier and his dragon steed with his family heirloom, the magic Black Bow.
Tigrevrmud and Eleonora go on to fight against a rival Vanadis, Ludmila Lourie, defeating her forces. Mila later joins forces with Elen and Tigre, forming the Army of the Silver Meteor. Meanwhile, Thenardier's rival, Duke Maximilian Ganelon sends his general, Charon Gleast, to seize power in Brune. The Silver Meteor Army engages Gleast's forces, and decisively defeats them at the First Battle of the Orange Plains, causing over 1500 casualties while losing no men themselves (only suffering 30 wounded). The Silver Meteor Army, however, were subsequently defeated by the elite Navarre Knights of Ganelon's army at the second Battle of Orange Plains, with Tigre being personally wounded by the lead Navarre Knight Roland. The Navarre Knights, however, are later defeated by a Elen and Tigre's army at the Third Battle of Orange Plains, after which Roland is executed for "treason" by Ganelon- actually failure to kill Tigre.
After the defeat of the Navarre Knights, the Silver Meteor Army continue fighting for the Brune-Zchted Alliance, defeating an invasion by the desert kingdom of Muozinel. After the defeat of Muozinel, Elen and the rest of the Silver Meteor Army turn their attentions back to Brune, where they decisively defeated Thenardier's remaining forces, and Tigre personally killed him in a duel. Duke Ganelon fled the Kingdom, shortly after poisoning the king. The king died shortly afterwards.

Arifar[]
Arifar is a magical longsword about four feet in length, which is supernaturally lightweight (enough to be used one-handed on horse back) and sharp, and durable. The blade is a legendary weapon said to have belonged to the wife of an ancient king, and was passed down to a girl worthy of the weapon, based on their ability to use it, marking them as one of the seven Vanadis, or Warrior Maidens of Zchted. In the hands of a Vanadis such as Eleonora, Arifar bestows the power of Aerokinesis on the user.
Aerokinesis[]
As stated above, Arifar has given Elen the power of aerokinesis- the ability to control the winds. Using this power, she can summon a violent wind capable of wiping out groups of enemy soldiers, blowing arrows out of the sky (or at least causing them to miss). Eleonora can even use the powers to levitate anything up to the size of a man on horseback, sometimes using this power to literally fly over the battlefield. Eleonora's most powerful skill known as Ley Admos, or the Wind Cleave, creates a razor-thin blast of air powerful enough to cut through even the flesh of a dragon. However, these powers have a limited range that can be avoided by flying enemies (though it will, for the purposes this match, still be able to hit Aegon's dragons if by the time they're in firing range). Eleonora also refuses to use her powers on normal humans, considering the act dishonorable, restricting their use to support roles (flight, deflecting arrows) and against fortifications, large creatures such as dragons, and other superhumans.
Eleonora's Lieutenant 1: Tigrevrmud Vorn[]
Tigrevrmud Vorn, known as Tigre to those close to him, was the Lord of Alsace in the kingdom of Brune, located on the border with the kingdom of Zchted, as well as an expert archer- in spite of the fact that archers were looked down on as cowards by the Brunish. Tigrevrmud went to war against Zchted and fought at the battle of Dinant Plains, where 5000 soldiers led by Eleonora Viltaria decimated Brune's larger army of 20,000. After the battle, Tigre caught sight of Eleonora riding alongside six of her best knights at a range of about 300 meters. Tigrevrmud fired off all six of his remaining arrows, killing the horse of a number of the knights, but not scoring any kills. His last two arrows were blocked by Eleonora's sword. Eleonora rode up to Tigre and demanded he surrender. Out of arrows, Tigre had no choice but to yield and was brought to Eleonora's home city of Leitmeritz. Eleonora ordered that Tigre be treated kindly, and allowed him to roam the castle of Lietmeritz freely, but warned that he would be killed by the archers in the towers if he tried to escape. Elen spent much time with Tigre personally, being impressed with his skill at archery.
Eleonora and Tigre became close friends in spite of his technically being her prisoner. After a period of captivity, Tigre heard that Alsace was threatened by the army of Zion Thenardier, son of Lord Felix Thenardier, the leader of one of two factions in a civil war in Brune that broke out after the king was stricken by a combination of grief and mental and physical illness after the death of his son, Prince Regnas. Tigre convinced Elen to accompany him in his return to Brune along with her army.
Tigre liberated his home, and defeated the occupying troops of Thenardier's army, who intended to destroy the city and kill all inhabitants. Here, Tigre rescued Tieta, a young maid working in his mansion he befriended as a child, and retrieved the Black Bow. Tigre used the bow to cut down several of Thenardier's troops with well-placed arrows during the liberation, as well as during the battle of Molsheim, where Tigre first discovered the power to of the bow to fire magic arrows, and, borrowing the power of Arifar, he used it to fire slay both Zion Thenardier and his dragon mount. The Battle of Molsheim ended in total defeat for Thenardier.
Tigre and Elen led the combined forces of Lietmeritz and Alsace, as well as those of Vanadis Ludmila Lourie, who joined Elen's forces after a brief conflict. The unified force, known as the "Silver Meteor Army" after their banner, won a string of victories against both Lord Felix Thenardier and his rival, Count Ganelon. They only met one defeat, at the hands of Ganelon's elite Navarre Knights at the Battle of the Orange Plains, but later defeated them at a second battle.
Despite being branded a traitor by both Ganelon and Thenardier, Tigre became a hero of sorts to the populace, especially after he defeats an invasion force of 200,000 men sent by the kingdom of Muozinel, a country known for selling any military or civilian prisoners into slavery.
After he and Elen defeated the Muozinel invasion, Tigre fought a battle against Thenardier at the Battle of Villecresnes, where he and Elen decisively defeated his army, killing 8000 of his troops, including his top general, Steid, as well as his last five surviving dragons.
Without his dragons and his top general, Thenardier was defeated a second time at the Battle of Mereville, which ended with Tigre personally killing Thenardier with his bow. Shortly afterwards, Ganelon fled the country, and the king of Brune succumb to his illness- he had actually been poisoned by Ganelon. This ended the conflict, and princess Regin of Brune was installed as queen.

Black Bow[]
Tigrevrmud Vorn's favored weapon is a longbow made of a mysterious black material that has magical properties, specifically the power to channel power from another nearby magic weapon (such as Elen's Arifar or Ludmila's Lavias) and fire a highly destructive magic arrow. Tigrevrmud only uses this power against his most dangerous foes, such as dragons and fortifications. Even when firing normal arrows (which he is, most of the time), Tigre is an archer with skill on the level of Robin Hood or Legolas, being capable of accuracy hitting moving targets and piercing plate armor at ranges of up to about 300 meters, as well as firing multiple arrows at once into a horde of enemies, and scoring a hit with each one. Magic Arrows[]
The Black Bow is a Vorn family heirloom, which is actually a bow possessing the power of an ancient deity of the underworld. The bow is capable of drawing power from another nearby magic weapon, including Elen's Arifar and Mila's Lavias, and firing a highly destructive magic arrow powered by that element. The bow can also fire off powerful magic arrows of its own, which typically occurs when Tigre is feeling a strong emotion such as fear or anger. Whether combining power with another magic weapon or from the power of the bow itself, the weapon is of hitting with the force of at least a modern artillery shell.
Dagger/Close Combat[]
Tigrevrmud is a poor swordsman and is equally unskilled with a spear, however, he is quite skilled at close quarters combat, either unarmed, with a knife, or even a rock. When Elen lies next to him in bed in a mischevious attempt to surprise him, Tigre immediately detects her presences and manages to subdue even the superhuman Vanadis before he realizes who she is. He has also managed to non-lethally take down multiple attackers in unarmed combat. Typically, Tigre carries a dirk-like double-edged dagger, which he uses for extreme close combat, as well as using it as a hunting knife.
Eleonora's Lieutenant 2: Ludmila Lourie[]
Ludmila Lourie is one of the female protagonist Madan no Ou no Vanadis series and one of seven main Vanadis of the story. Formerly antagonistic rival against her fellow Vanadis, Eleonora Viltaria and the Earl of Alsace, Tigrevurmud Vorn, Mila used to be one of Felix Aaron Thenardier's ally due to her family illustrious 80 years of relationship with House of Thenardier, and often argued with Elen in their daily encounter. It was until Tigre's rescue from an unexpected assassin attempted had changed her heart, due to Tigre's sincerity and valor, had made the Frost Mind Vanadis became both Elen and Tigre's ally through the series.
Born under the bloodline of a Vanadis nobility,the House of Lourie, Mila was chosen as the next Vanadis after her mother's passing. Under the pressure of the prestigious family blood line, Mila received an excel education through regal mannerism and etiquette, while trained to yield a spear at her age of 14. Her training has finally comes to fruition as her position has finally recognized. As the warlord of Olmutz, Mila confronted with all kinds of stress for her family prestige, including maintaining her family's 8 decades of regal partnership with House of Thenardier. Despite their family's mutual respect, Mila herself disliked Thenardier.
In her youth, Mila also has an ill relationship with Elen, as both kingdoms from previous generations had a very old feud against each other. In most of their arguments, Mila has often think that Elen was inadequate to be a Vanadis due to her carefree and easy-going personality. Their trivial yet heated arguments could only be solved by her fellow Vanadis and once mediator, Alexandra Alshavin. Even with Sasha's advice to keep their friendship for Zhcted's sake, Mila refuses to compromise with Elen and it seemed only Sofya Obertas, who replaced Sasha due to her illness, managed to settle their rivalry. Even with Sofy's efforts, which seemly effectively (at least temporarily) stop them from fighting, Mila's rivalry with Elen remained unchanged.
In spite of her strained relationship with Elen, Ludmila later breaks her alliance with Thenardier and joins her forces with those of Elen and Tigre against both Thenardier, Ganelon, and the kingdom of Muozinel, who invaded Brune in attempt to strike while their foes in Brune. Ludmila's forces fought alongside Tigre and Elen's in all their battles, proving particularly instrumental in the defeat of Muozinel.

Lavias[]
Lavias is the primary weapon of Lumila Lourie, initially appearing to a staff, but it is actually a short spear, sprouting a blade of supernaturally strong, apparently unmeltable ice. The blade is easily capable of thrusting through armor, and Ludmila is an expert at wielding it.
Cryokinesis[]
Ludmila is capable of creating and shaping ice at will. Some common forms include a thick block of ice do use as a shield, freezing a water surface to cross water, and creating ice spikes to launch as projectiles or to surround her and impale attacking foes (see above)
Weather Manipulation[]
Lumila is capable causing localized snowstorms and blizzards, in order to restrict the vision of her foes and weaken enemy soldiers from the cold. Ludmila is also immune to cold temperatures, allowing her to walk around in a blizzard even in her thin Vanadis regalia.
Eleonora's Lieutenant 3: Limlisha[]
NOTE: Limlisha does not have any supernatural weapons or powers, and is thus an even match for Orys Baratheon
Limlisha is a one of female support characters of Madan no Ou no Vanadis series. As one of the Ellenora Viltara's personal bodyguard and close friend, Lim often seen together with the Silver Wind Vanadis and fulfills her duty to keep trouble away from Elen, even if it means giving up her life. Like Tigre and Elen, Lim is also one of Silver Meteor Army's proficient generals.
Hard-headed and even overprotective, Lim is one of Ellen's few trusted bodyguards who fulfills her duty as the Silver Wind Vanadis bodyguard. She is so devoted to her role that she will protect her master even if death is her destiny. As her loyal bodyguard, she is also cautious to whoever she communicates with, especially those that are not from Zhcted. Whenever in the battle, Lim is extremely stern, stoic and disciplined soldier whom believed that warriors & commanders should be serious and skillful in order to be successful in battles.
Despite of her bravery and seriousness in battle, Lim is rather soft whenever she sees something cute or shy. Like many girls of her age, Lim is usually flustered should anything related to boys happens. She also has strong obsession about teddy bears, where she has a collection of them in her room.
Because of her personality, Tigre and Elen often uses it as advantage to avoid punishment from Lim.

The Zchtedi Longsword used by Limlisha is similar to the real-life European longsword. The term "longsword" refers to a longer sword than the arming sword, while having the same basic shape of the arming sword, but having a length of up to about one and a half meters, designed more for thrusting, but still capable of cutting. The sword was used from the mid 1300s to the mid 1500s. The weapon was also known as a "hand and a half", as it can be used one or two handed.

Unlike real-life heater shields (contrary to popular belief), the shields of Zchtedi knights appear to be plated with metal on the front, giving them further strength at the expense of greater weight.

The Zchtedi knights use a lance with a double-edged blade about a foot long on the end for piercing armor, as well as boar spear-style "wings" on top. The shaft up to about 10 to 20 feet long. Overall, this gives the lance an appearance similar to a Japanese yari pike. In spite of their yari-like appearance, the Zchtedi lances will be weighted and designed for use on horseback. Contrary to popular belief, the conical lances used by medieval knights were intended for tournament use- battlefield lances looked more like the elongated spears described above.
Eleonora's Army[]
Cavalry x 2000[]
Zchtedi and Brunish cavalry are the fast, mobile, but heavily armored arm of Eleonora and Tigre's forces, and are armored in at least a breastplate and helmet, with the heavier cavalry being clad in full plate armor, including a helmet with an articulated visor similar to a 15th century knight.

Infantry x 5000[]
The infantry of Eleonora's army are typically armored in at least a breastplate and helmet, with some having full-plate armor. Some of the infantry, however, appear to wear brigandine- metal plates riveted between layers of leather or cloth.
Pike[]
A pike is, quite simply, a long spear. The first major military use of pikes occurred under Phillip of Macedon, who used a variation of the ancient Greek phalanx formation using pikes or sarissa. This tactic was later used to great effect by Phillip's son Alexander the Great. The pike fell out of favor until the late Middle Ages, when it was found that pikes were effective, cheap anti-cavalry weapons when used in formation, which could easily be used by peasants with little training. As such, pikes were used extensively by the Scots, the Flemish, and the Swiss in the 1300s.

Archers x 2000[]
While archers require freedom of movement, limiting the amount of armor they can wear, Zchtedi archers wear plate spaulders, vambraces, and helmets, while their torso and below is presumably protected by chainmail or brigandine. None of this armor seems to effect their performance.
Longbow[]
The English longbow, also known as the Welsh longbow, is a well-known bow and arrow known for its use by British forces in the Hundred Years War at battles such as Crecy and Agincourt. The longbow was generally about five to six feet long, the length allowing for greater draw strength. The bow is described by a period source, Gaston III, count of Foix in 1380 as "of yew or boxwood, seventy inches [1.78 m] between the points of attachment for the cord". The bow was used in warfare in England from about 1280 to 1600. The weapon saw extensive use first by Welsh rebels against the English, and later British forces in various conflicts including the invasion of Scotland and later the Hundred Years War.

A Mangonel is a torsion catapult used during the Middle Ages, using a twisted skein of rope to fire a projectile up to about 300-400 meters. The weapon could fire a number of different types of ammuntion, large rocks being the most common, though infected corpses and flaming projectiles were also known to be fired.

Explanations[]
In terms of Agility, I give Eleonora the highest score for here power to fly in person, probably with greater maneuverability, with Aegon and his sisters coming in second as they have dragons, and thus the only other ones with a means of flight. In terms of Combat experience, Elen takes the edge, being a child soldier and mercenary before she gained Arifar and, thus, her magic powers and status. Aegon and his sisters have been riding dragons into battle all their lives, supporting Essossi city states prior to their invasion of Westeros. Lumila is highly experienced, but was born into a noble family, and probably did not fight as much as Elen. Tigrevrmud comes in last, as he has had much practice in archery and hunting, his first battle was at Dinant, where he met Elen.
In terms of Intelligence and the related score of Military tactics, the two Vanadis (Elen and Mila are not known as "princesses of war" for nothing, they are masters of miltary tactics and weaponry, a skill Tigrevrmud picked up in his time in their company. Aegon, on the other hand, while far from stupid, won his battles through the firepower of his dragons. The dragons give Aegon the edge in firepower, Balerion alone was able to burn the great castle of Harrenhal to the ground, while the three dragons combined wiped out a massive Lannister and Gardener army (wiping out House Gardener completely) and struck such fear into the hearts of his foes that all except Dorne surrendered without fight. Elen and Ludmila's magic are powerful, but even they cannot level as castle on their own, and they have a shorter range. The only one whose powers rival the dragons in terms of range and firepower was Tigrevrmud. As for armor, quite simply, the Targaryens wear plate armor, but the two Vanadis wear no armor, preferring to go into battle in their scant, and quite frankly impractical Vanadis regalia, which consists entirely of thin cloth and large amounts of exposed skin (clearly Zchted has very different ideas about sexuality and how a woman in power should present herself than the real middle ages, or Westeros for that matter!). The Vanadis seem to prefer to deflect physical attacks with their magic, but if an arrow or blade were to make it through, they possess no magical invulnerability, and thus would be wounded the same way as any other human. Tigre wears a leather breastplate, but wears no other armor, believing it interfere with his freedom of movement.

Explanations[]
In terms of intelligence, Limlisha seems to more tactically minded- thus her higher intelligence and tactics, but Orys was clearly not far behind, given the efficacy of his campaign to seize the area around what would become Kings Landing even without the support of Aegon's dragons. Lim's slightly greater combat experience no doubt stems her experience as a child soldier and mercenary fighting alongside Elen even before she became a Vanadis. In terms of skill, both of them are very well-trained warriors, and about evenly matched. They also both some of the best horsemen of their respective worlds and carry the best armor available. Orys takes the edge in terms of sheer brute strength, given his larger build, however, the older, larger Orys is also probably now as agile as the younger, lighter Limlisha.

Explanations[]
Both forces of infantry are well trained, however, Elen's forces have more combat experience, always being on the front lines of battle. Aegon's forces, on the other hand, always played a secondary role to his dragons in his conquest of Westeros. This means that their combat experience suffers as result. In terms of armor, the Zchtedi soldiers greater use of plate armor, as well as their steel-plated shields mean they take the edge. However, The longbows of the Zchtedi archers have a longer range, however, at close range, the stopping power of the crossbow is greater. On the other hand, the longbows have greater rate of fire. Finally, in terms of freedom of movement, the Zchtedi's larger amount of armor will reduce their freedom of movement and maneuver speed, the cavalry (as they have horses) and the archers (less armor) less so than the infantry. Finally, Eleonora's forces have unquestionably superior leadership, with all off four of the leaders displaying near-encyclopedic knowledge of military tactics. Summing it up, Aegon's army is the army of a man more concerned with weapons of mass destruction (his dragons) than regular troops, while Elen's troops are the cornerstone of her tactics, with her superhuman abilities being used to support her soldiers.

- Take into account that the two sides may not fight each other as listed above, and two can team up against one enemy- for instance, Aegon (and Balerion) might end up fighting Ludmila or Eleonora and Tigre might combine their powers to take out the dragons with a magic arrow.
- Dragons in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire cannot fly well in storms, but can still fight on foot. If they are forced to land, however, the dragon will be fully vulnerable to Elen and Ludmila's short range magic, as well as flanking attacks by large groups of soldiers. Take note of this when comparing the dragons to with Elen's aerokinesis and Ludmila's weather manipulation.
Battle[]
Tigrevrmud Vorn and Eleonora Viltaria rode through an open field, flanked on each side by Limlisha and Ludmila Lourie at the head of an army of 9000 men, In the distance were an invading force from a previously unknown land, who had first invaded Zchted a few weeks ago.
They were now about 300 meters away from the enemy army when Tigre gave the order: "Archers, nock your arrows!... draw.... LOOSE!"
At once, 2000 archers loosed their arrows and unleashing a storm of wood and steel. The arrows reached the apex of their flight, before dropping down on their foes. Bodkin points pierced through mail and even plate, some of them striking down their targets instantly, while others merely wounded men and horses.
Arrows fell around him, and yet Orys Baratheon stood firm. As soon as the last arrows hit the ground, Orys ordered his crossbowmen to hold at the ready. Soon, the enemy would charge.
Sure enough, Eleonora Viltaria held Arifar forward and charged forth, followed by Tigre, Ludmila, Limlisha, and the rest of her 2000 cavalrymen. Thousands of hoof beats thundered as the Zchtedi cavalry charged forth. A few fell to Orys' crossbowmen, but the force as a whole kept charging forward like an unstoppable force of nature.
At about 100 meters, Tigrevrmud nocked three arrows at once, and loosed his bow striking three targets at once. Tigre then struck down one of Orys' lieutenants with another well-placed bowshot. As Tigre stood back and picked off his foes, all the while moving to avoid crossbow fire, Orys and the Westerossi cavalry charged forth, colliding with Elen's cavalry.
Elen swung her blade at a Westerossi knight, the magical steel of Arifar cleaving through the mail hauberk that protected his neck and slicing his head clean off. The Vanadis of Zcthed then urged her horse forward, cutting down men and horse like a scythe through wheat.
Meanwhile, Ludmila impaled another of Aegon's knights on Lavias. All around her, Zchtedi and Westerossi alike fell to lance and blade, as the two forces clashed. Cavalry charged past each other, trying to get in a deadly swing of a blade, before coming down around for a second strike.
Unlike the lances of wood and steel, however, Mila's Lavias did not break from the force of impact, allowing the mystical blade of ice to impale foe after foe as Ludmila plowed through Orys' cavalry and into the infantry line.
A crossbowman took aim at Ludmila, but immediately was struck right between the eyes by an arrow from Tigre's deadly Black Bow. But the Vanadis of Ice was not out of danger. She was surrounded on one side by the infantry line, and Orys's cavalry were closing in from behind.
Ludmila, however, only smiled darkly as she waved Lavias through the air. A dozen spikes of ice sprouted from beneath her horse, impaling all of her attackers and allowing her to ride to safety. Several Westerossi infantry fled in terror at the power of the mysterious female warrior.
Meanwhile, Orys Baratheon charged at Limlisha and swung his blade. The sword made contact with her chest, but only lightly dented her plate armor. Rather than dueling on horseback (FYI cavalry did usually not do this IRL), as was commonly depicted in fiction, Lim turned her horse and charged again at Orys, swinging her longsword and striking him over the head, denting his helmet, but not piercing his flesh.
Suddenly, a horn rang out across the battlefield from the Westerossi side. Orys and what was left of his army retreated. The Zchtedi army prepared to give chase, but were stopped in their tracks by a shout that diffused through the ranks: "DRAGONS!"
Silhouetted against the sun were flew three dragons, the mounts of Aegon the Conqueror and his two sister, Visenya and Rhaenys. Aegon pulled on the reins of Balerion and the dragon dove in low over the column of Zchtedi infantry and strafing them with flames, followed by the dragons of his two sisters. Soldiers dropped their pikes, only to be engulfed in flames and incinerated. A few archers tried to fire on the dragons, but in the chaos of the smoke and flame-covered field most of their shots fell short of their mark, and those that did strike did not but annoy the colossal beasts.
Black smoke rose from the funeral pyre of over 4500 men as the dragons turned their attention to the scattered surviving Zchtedi soldiers. Ludmila, Limlisha, Tigre, and Elen, however, stood firm as Mila and Elen both unleashed the full force of their environmental powers, summoning a blizzard accompanied by violent winds.
In the sudden storm, all three Targaryen dragons were forced to land, and Visenya was almost blown from her mount.
"The dragons are downed, CHARGE!", Ludmila yelled to her unit of about 100 knights as they charged at Meraxes and Rhaenys and Meraxes, trying to flank her.
Meanwhile, Elen's Arifar glowed as it fed power into the arrow Tigre nocked in his Black Bow. The Earl of Alsace loosed the arrow, which glowed with a mystic light as it flew the distance of about 500 alsin (unit in the Vanadis world, about 1 meter) to target in less than a second, a trail of violent wind rushing behind the arrow.
No one in the battle would have seen anything like it, but if an observer from the modern error might liken the impact of the arrow to that of a .50 BMG round, blowing clean through the neck of the Dragon Vhaegar, going in one side and out the other. A look of shock was frozen on Visenya Targaryen's face seconds before it, along with rest of her head, was reduced to a bloody mist.

Meanwhile, things went a lot worse for Ludmila Lourie and her cavalry charging Meraxes. The dragon turned his neck to the side, and breathed a stream of flames, charring horses and men alike to blackened husks. The Vanadis of ice was vanquished in fire.

The second the flames overcame Ludmila, the storm over the battlefield lifted, the snowfall and winds immediately ceased, allowing the dragons to once again bring death from the skies. Rhaenys spurred Meraxes on towards the enemy commanders, now about 300 meters away, it would not be long before Elen and Tigre would be in range of her deadly flames.
It was at this moment that Tigrevrmud Vorn loosed the second to last arrow in his quiver. The arrow flew straight over the head of Meraxes... and into the forehead of Rhaenys Targaryen. Rhaenys slumped over and fell from the back of her mount, dead before she hit the ground, but the dragon continued to fly towards them, as though intent on avenging its master.
Once again, Arifar glowed with an unearthly light, as Elen yelled Ley Admos! and swung the blade. A razor-thin gust of wind as powerful a hurricane was unleashed towards the dragon. The wind-blade cut through the the neck of the creature, severing its head and continuing, cutting the body clean in half. The two half of Meraxes fell the ground with "thud".
(Rhaenys elimiated).
But the battle was not won for Elenonra and Rhaenys, not yet. Form behind, Aegon swooped in on Balerion. Tigre turned and tried to nock and arrow, but before he could, Aegon gave one an order to his dragon in high Valyrian: Dracarys- breathe fire. The dragon obeyed, and Tigrevrmud Vorn and Eleonora Viltaria were reduced to ash and bones before they had time to scream.
After the fall of their leader, the surviving Zchtedi soldiers fled the battlefield or surrendered on en masse. Most of those who fled were captured and immediately swore fealty of Aegon out of sheer terror...
Epilogue
Hall of the Fortress of Lietmeritz, Zchted, Temporary base of Aegon Targaryen during the Zchted Invasion
It had been three weeks since Aegon and his dragons had slaughtered the armies of Zchted on the field of battle, and effectively taken control of the provinces of Lietmeritz and Olmutz. Since then, the rest of Zchted was in chaos. Rumor had it that King Viktor of Zchted was raising an army of his own, along with the neighboring country or Brune. It was said that thes armies included this continent's own endemic species of dragons. The existence of rival dragons was certainly an unpleasant revelation to the King of Andals and First Men.
It was also a Pyrric victory for Aegon, his own beloved sisters, and by Valyrian tradition, also his wives, were dead, along with two of his dragons. And yet, Aegon did not go into mourning, but pressed forth his campaign, determined to avenge their memory by taking all of Zchted. They would bend the knee... or they would die.
As Aegon sat at on the throne formerly belonging to Vanadis of this territory plotting his next course of action, heard the great wooden doors of the hall open. In the door, flanked by Aegon's guards, was a woman in ornate, yet revealing clothing similar to those of the two mysterious "princesses of war" he had defeated in his last battle. The woman had black hair with a slight bluish tinge extending down her back, and mysterious b
"Your Grace, a woman claiming to be Lady of Osterode and a relative of the king of Zchted seeks an audience".
"Bring her in", Aegon said.
The guards ushered the woman into throne room. She stood about ten feet away from the throne and immediately got down one one knee. "Hail Aegon Targaryen, King of Andals, First Men, and Zchted!", the woman said, "I am Valentina Glinka Estes of Osterode. I come to offer you my services"
"And what are these services that you can provide me?", Aegon asked, pleased with her description of him as "King of Andals, First Men, AND Zchted.
"I have an army of 10,000 men they are at your command, and I also have the power of a Vanadis, something that you will no doubt find useful.", Valentina replied
"What is this power of which you speak", Aegon asked.
"Behold", Valentina replied, and disappeared into a black circle, prompting both Orys Baratheon and Aegon's Kingsguard to draw their swords. Valentina instantly reappeared in a most... compromising position, specifically straddling on king's lap, facing him, her arms wrapped around his neck.
"As you can see, I can travel anywhere I want through the shadows, Valentina said in her most seductive voice, "You lost both your wives recently, and beside, ruling Zchted will be much easier with a Zchtedi queen. And who better for a warrior king to marry than a princess of war. Make me Queen of Zchted and I will bring you the heads of King Viktor, and those Vanadis that still resists.
The Kingsguard approached Aegon as the Valentina got off his lap, swords still drawn. Aegon, however, said, "Guards, stand down. As for you, Lady Vanadis, if you really can bring me the head of the king of Zchted, I will make you my new queen."
Valentina Glinka Estes walked away, satisfied with herself, "That was easier than I thought", Valentina thought to herself, he is clearly much brighter than that old fool Viktor. But still, I fooled him, and when the time is right, I'll get him out of my way, and take the kingdom for myself..."
Silesia, Zchted Imperial Capital
Limlisha sat in her room at a roadside inn. Three weeks after the battle, she was a wreck of her former self. Previously Limlisha almost never drank at all, but since the death of everyone she had ever cared about, she had consistently tried to drown her sorrow in alcohol. Even that, though, could not keep away the memories of the fiery death of Ludmila, Tigre, and Elen at the hands of a foreign invader's dragon.
It was at that moment that she noticed that, leaning against the wall next to her own sword, was a familar weapon.
"Arifar?", she said.
Limlisha picked up the blade and glowed with a mystical light.
Elen's sword... the legendary Viralt, one of the weapons forged by the Dragon King of Zchted, had chosen her to be its next wielder. Immediately, Limlisha felt strength well again in her body.
She stood up, holding the sword at her side, and declared to the empty room, "In the name of all the gods, I swear vengeance upon the invading king Aegon and everyone else who aided him his murderous campaign!"
Expert's Opinion[]
Eleonora was a skilled military tactician and possessed a powerful magic, as did her allies, however, in the end, sheer castle-razing destructive power of Aegon's dragons won him the battle. The experts also took note of the fact that the Vanadis lacked any form of armor. Tigre's arrows were powerful, but he had little defense against close-in attacks.
