Master Chief: The armored Spartan soldier who saved the universe from destruction!
vs
The Agent: The superpowered policeman who conquered a city for an authoritarian agency!
It's a battle between two silent genetically-enhanced futuristic knights from the good old days of the Xbox 360.
Who is... DEADLIEST?
Master Chief[]

Master Chief (Real name John) is a UNSC Spartan soldier and the main protagonist of the Halo franchise. One of the only Spartan-IIs alive and the hero of the Human-Covenant War. Covertly kidnapped from his home as a child, he was raised from the age of six to be the ideal soldier: fearless, loyal, and resourceful with an unending drive for success. Enhanced with the latest in bio-augmentation technology available, he was one of the thirty-three Spartans to survive the procedures and was the first to utilize MJOLNIR body armor. His figure soon became synonymous with the SPARTAN Program and the UNSC, serving as a beacon of hope to his allies and a monster to be dreaded to his foes.
Weapons[]
- Type-1 EW/Sword: Energy sword with battery capacity allowing 10 hits. Capable of slicing through armor and shields and can block other melee attacks.
- M90A CAWS: The UNSC's resident close-quarters assault weapon. 6 round tubular magazine that fires 8 gauge shells. One shot to a foe's head is likely to take it clean off with a blast from one of these semi-automatic shotguns.
- MA5C ICWS: Gas operated, fully-automatic projectile rifle with 32-round magazine, capable of sustained continuous fire. Accurate if used in short, well-aimed bursts and is otherwise ferociously powerful at close range.
- WAV M6 GGNR: A directed energy weapon with 5-shot capacity. It takes time to charge but a shot is capable of blasting through personnel, artillery, and vehicles both land and aerial. A zoomed scope also assists in aiming.
- Frag Grenades: The standard-issue hand grenade of the United Nations Space Command. The M9 is a High-Explosive, Dual-Purpose fragmentation grenade widely utilized throughout the UNSC's service branches. The M9 is triggered by a simple digital timer fuse, which then detonates a small primer explosive, in turn triggering the chemical agent to explode and send the shrapnel fragments flying away from the grenade.
Armor[]
- Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor: A technologically advanced combat exoskeleton system designed to vastly improve the strength, speed, agility, reflexes and durability of a SPARTAN-II. Chief has worn several throughout the years, but its capabilities remain similar. Its greatest function is its thickness. Composed of several layers of protection, further increased by a recharging shield, the armor allows Master Chief to survive melee, projectile, gravity, and energy attacks, as well as a hard crash from space to Earth. It can be further amplified through the use of temporary power-ups like:
- Overshield: Doubles the strength of John's energy shields.
- Active Camouflage: Grants John invisibility.
- Speed Boost: Enhances the speed of movements, combats, and reactions for 45 seconds.
- Damage Boost: Enhances the damage done with all weapons for 45 seconds.
The Agent[]

The Agents are genetically modified human beings, created by the Agency, using the disgraced work of Dr. Balthazar Czernenko. The Agents have The Agency's best equipment at hand in their fight against crime in Pacific City. Being enhanced, Agents are physically stronger and faster than normal human beings. They can resist far more damages that can instantly kill ordinary humans, and can heal from these at a very fast rate. They can jump over tall buildings in one bound and have a very fast reaction time. Crackdown 2 sees the creation of a new type of Agent. These new Agents are now protected by a more advanced suit, which evolves along with the Agent, providing the Agent with heightened body protection and full facial protection.
Weapons[]
- Improvised Weapons: Besides hand-to-hand, the Agent is also strong enough to use anything he can get his hands on as a weapon, from small things such as a lamp post, a waiting shed, or a human corpse, to larger ones like a giant slab of concrete on a steel post and vehicles. He can either use them as melee, or throw them as projectiles.
- Ultra SMG: A compact machine pistol based on an MP5K that has a 30 round magazine and fires small pistol bullets. What it lacks in power and range makes up for its medium rate of fire. It has a foregrip that the Agent uses to keep the gun steady in full-auto.
- Ultra Assault Rifle: A fully-automatic assault rifle based on the FAMAS with a 30-round magazine and bullpup design and foregrip. It is the standard weapon for the Agency used by both the Agents and Peacekeepers.
- Flocket Launcher: A type of homing rocket launcher that has an 8-round cylinder magazine. Due to its ability to hone in on its targets, Agents can catch fast moving targets, cars, and even Freaks with unprecedented accuracy. The weapon is also noted for its rate of fire, as the Agent can empty all of its rockets in a matter of seconds, and the resulting explosion is powerful enough to engulf entire buildings and highways in flames.
- Quacker: An explosive deceptively formed to look like a rubber ducky toy. When thrown, it can attach itself to any surface, and can be detonated manually from a long distance. It is the most powerful grenade, and a few of these can easily kill giant Freaks and destroy tanks.
Armor[]
- Bio-Armor: The Agent wears bio armor integrated into their bodies and nervous system. Acting as a part of the Agent's body, the armor evolves as the Agent does. It is made up of thick carbon-fiber material, usually of different colors, and covers the Agent's body from head to toe without slowing his speed and mobility. It is basically fireproof, light enough for the Agent to swim in, and can tank most damage from bullets, explosions, and hits from building-sized Freaks. It also has a variety of integrated features such as:
- Regenerating Shields: The armor is also covered by a regenerating/recharegeable energy shield that tanks the initial damage, and regenerates when the Agent is not under fire.
- HUD System: An integrated system that the Agent can use. It has a map to display his position, motion detectors to sense enemy locations, and an automatic targeting system wired to his body that allows him to accurately shoot his gun at any target.
- Thrusters and Wingsuit: These two features allow the Agent to basically fly. The thrusters propel the Agent upwards into the air, and the wingsuit acts as both a glider and a parachute. By working them in tandem, the Agent can soar all across Pacific City (giving him one sure method of escaping combat). The thrusters can also be used to burn enemies using its rockets.
- Ground and Pound: When an Agent reaches a certain level of height, the Agent's fist or any weapon he is holding will glow red and smash the ground as he lands, creating a large explosive shockwave.
- Barge: By running at top speed and gaining momentum, the Agent can bash through people, vehicles and other covers like the Juggernaut, dealing massive damage.
X-Factors[]
- Physicality
- Both of these warriors are genetically-enhanced super soldiers with healing factors, born from the best science of their respective universes. However, while Master Chief is strong enough to beat the crap out of a Brute and flip over a warthog, the Agent is stronger, faster, and more durable. He can lift tanks and helicopters over his head, jump over small skyscrapers, survive a direct hit from a rocket, and survive falls. He can also easily regrow tissue and wounds quickly.
- Training
- It's difficult to decide which one of these warriors has the superior training. Both of them trained from a young age, and both of them are military-trained. The Agent does have the edge in terms of being trained since birth (he was born in a lab, after all). But Master Chief has a more documented training so people know how gruelling his training was. For now, it's a wash.
- Experience
- This one is easily won by the Master Chief. By Halo 3, he's fought several years-worth of battle against Human Insurrectionists, the Covenant, and the Flood. And the quality of enemies he fought are far more disciplined, trained, or plain deadlier than what the Agent had to face. The Agent, at least during the events of Crackdown 2, is fairly new. He did fought against terrorists, criminals, and rebels called the Cell, and zombies known as the Freaks of various sizes, but his experience is less than the Spartan.
Notes[]
- This is Master Chief during Halo 3 and The Agent during Crackdown 2.
- Battle takes place in a large urbanized city.
- This will strictly be a one-on-one on-foot battle. Both warriors will not be having their vehicles and will not be assisted by Cortona or the Agency director.
Battle[]
Master Chief was walking through a broken dilapidated city with his UNSC rifle at hand. He had no knowledge how he got there, besides remembering having a slipstream malfunction with his broken spaceship.
All around him were crumbling skyscrapers and buildings in perpetual inferno. And a logo of what appeared to be the letter "A" plastered all over.
Suddenly, machine gun shots rang out, hitting Master Chief in the torso. Those shots came from the Agent, wielding a large heavy machine gun. Chief did not know why this bastard was shooting. But he nonetheless, had to fight back. He therefore began spraying his assault rifle.
However, the Agent suddenly dashed forward with blazing speed. As he did so, he fired a smaller and lighter Ultra Submachine Gun. Chief had never seen anyone run that fast, but thankfully, those puny bullets bounced off of him. The Spartan tried to throw a frag grenade, but this effort only missed. The Agent then turned his thruster and rose up into the air. As he let go and began to descend, he aimed his body straight at where the Master Chief stood.
He pummelled the ground and sent shockwaves, blasting Chief away. With such force like that, the Chief knew he was in big trouble. His shield could only last so long. And so he ran towards an active camouflage lying nearby, turning invisible. However, the Agent could still detect him using his motion sensor. And so he threw a quacker at the Chief. Before the latter could remove it, the Agent pressed the detonator. The blast took so much from Chief's armor. He also could feel that his ribs and femur were shattered by the blast. And so he grabbed his Spartan laser and fired.
The shot knocked the Agent away, even setting him on fire. But he stood up and tried to rush Chief. A second laser got him, nearly tearing him in two. Knowing that he wouldn't last long with such a weapon, the Agent grabbed his flocket launcher, and emptied all his rockets at Master Chief. The Spartan tried to crawl away but to no avail. Death took him in an explosive finish.
The Agent then waited for himself to heal, before jumping onto a large building and gliding away with his wingsuit.
Expert's Opinion[]
Although Master Chief was more experienced, he simply could not compete with the Agent's superior physicality, armor, and flocket launcher.
