Cervantes, the Dread Pirate, is facing off with Dante, hero of Dante's Inferno. Cervantes, the world's first zombie ghost pirate to be possessed by a sword, brings his signature blades into the fight: Acheron, a balanced longsword, and Nirvana, a dagger with a two-shot pistol as the guard on one side, both of which he uses in his "Critical Finish", which shoots a charged pistol bolt at his foe. Dante, the crusader who may have (Lucifer implies doubt of this statements veracity) braved all nine circle of Hell for his beloved, Beatrice, brings his signature weapons: the Scythe he stole from Death and the Cross Beatrice gave him. He also has the semi-explosive magic of the Suicide Fruit, as well as a "Redemption" mode to boost his power.
Battle ended. Final vote on the poll was 3-3, but in accordance with rule #4 (Deadliest Fiction: Rules of the Wiki), I get the casting vote. I'm afraid to say that the Dante's Inferno commentors did not impress me, due to the pathetic nature of the game's enemies. I will put the battle up later. Battle is up. Next match will be posted on Friday, along with an explanatoin of how I will run my battles. Next match is Link (Legend of Zelda) vs Kelsier (Mistborn)
