Shitposted this in a match then thought it might be fun

This will likely not be written for a while, since I'm not sure what I want the general plot of the sim to be. I'm mostly posting this so that they can be taken off the reserved list.

Edna[]

Humans don't care about how you feel or what you think. But what do you expect? They're humans.
— Edna
I swear, officer, she's really several thousand years old

Edna was born of the earthpulse, like most Seraphim. She met Eizen soon after gaining consciousness, and the two felt a familial connection to each other. This is rare amongst Seraphim, but the two quickly bonded as siblings, until Eizen's Reaper's Curse manifested. The two are forced to part, and Edna lives on her mountain, the Rayflake Spiritcrest, staying away from humans as they enslaved her kind. Eizen would send her gifts, though he only returned to the mountain after he became a dragon.

Edna tried to stop her brother from slaughtering people, though to little avail. She struck a friendship with the Seraph Lailah, who would later visit her alongside Sorey and Mikleo to try and enlist her help. After trolling them, she lent her aid and joined their quest to stop the current Lord of Calamity. Edna was a helpful, if snarky and trolling, ally, assisting the group through tight spots. Just before confronting the Lord of Calamity in his hideout - the ruin known as Artorius' Throne - she assisted her group in killing her brother, having come to terms with the fact that the only way to save him at this point was to kill him.

I've got a frail build, so I can't hold anything much heavier than my umbrella. I'm the most ladylike lady that ever ladied.
— Edna
So deadpan and so full of snark that she has to hide her face so you know a subject is serious.

Edna's main weapon is her umbrella. She can channel her magic through it, like a wand, and can also poke people with it really hard; she does reinforce it with magic when using it as a weapon in battle. It can extend, as well, to lengthen the range of the umbrella poke. It can also be used to protect from rain or from excessive sunlight, or to hide her face to talk about embarrassing or difficult topics.

She also uses Seraphic Artes, basically spells, that tend to do either directly do earth damage or trigger after certain conditions are met to extend combos. Most of these Artes also hit over a wide area.

See here for a full list of her artes, including her Mystic Artes that have their own tab.

She can also use Giant's Strength to increase her physical strength by large amounts, though this tends to come with backlash of extremely sore muscles.

Just don't get hit, doofus
— Edna
Please don't ask her to step on you. She will.
Edna has two Mystic Artes. For Terra Mine, she stomps on the ground, creating a massive spike of earth that launches them into the air. She fires a magic orb thing from her umbrella as they fall, blasting them back into and shattering the spike. For Shooting Star, Edna rides her umbrella like a witch's broom and casts spells of every element at her foe.

Ryne[]

Since all of our heroes are gone, we'll just have to make heroes of ourselves.
— Ryne
She's gay with Gaia. There, I said it.

Ryne is the latest in a long line of young girls who are possessed by the soul of Minfillia, Thancred Waters' dead surrogate sister. As a child she was taken by the city-state of Eulmore and held captive, as they had decided to stop fighting the end of the world. She is later broken out of her prison by Thancred, who takes her under his wing.

While Thancred is initially a fairly shitty dad due to the whole "surrogate daughter is possessed by his dead surrogate sister" thing, the pair manage to work together. After Minfillia sacrifices herself to allow the girl to live her own life, Thancred gives her the name Ryne. He shapes up as a father rather quickly, and the two form a strong bond. Ryne later assists Thancred, Urianger, and the Warrior of Light in restoring part of The Empty, a large swathe of inhospitable stagnated aether. There, Ryne meets and forms a close bond with Gaia, another young girl.

However much it hurts, and however hard it gets, it's my life, and I want to live it on my own terms! And those "mad fools" you want me to abandon? The ones I've traveled with, fought with, and may one day die with—they feel the same.
— Ryne
Just normal knives
Ryne uses two knives, which visually resemble Air Knives sold by Rowena's House of Splendors. They do not appear to have special properties.

They're everything to me. All I have and all I need. And I would gladly do anything for them. Let us pass, or kill me. I'm not leaving here without them.
— Ryne
Fortunately don't have to use her E8 forms for images
Ryne's unique class is known as Oracle. It combines elements of the Rogue and Ninja, taught to her by Thancred Waters, and her unique magic abilities. In addition to striking physically with her knives, she can also use stealth in battle to vanish. She can then utilize Trick Attack to increase the damage taken by a foe. Her other major abilities are Banish III, a spell which does high damage, or use the skill Artful Edge to both deal high damage and reduce the damage an enemy deals. If she were in a group of four she would be able to use the Braver limit break, but she's not.
