Prologue[]

Once again, the towering school that was Honnouji Academy loomed over you, and this time, you were meeting under different circumstances. The Naturals Election had gone on for about a week now, and you had multiple fights with your classmates, some being of a lesser rank, and others being fellow Two Star Goku Uniform users. You faced a lot of powerful adversaries, but you were either smarter, stronger, or more versatile than them, and were able to get the edge over them. Now, it was just you and the remainders of your class that weren't kicked out of the Election.

There was no chatter to be interrupted, as no one wanted to make small talk, but even then there was the loud sound of a sword hilt banging against a platform. Lady Satsuki made her presence known, and all eyes turned to the giatn tower at the very top of teh academy, waiting for what she had to say.

"You are gathered here today because you are some of the best in your class," She said, but her tone wasn't a congratulatory one, and instead she almost seemed disgusted, as if disappointed that this was all her Academy had to offer. You'd hate to disappoint her. This just made you want to try just as hard to succeed. "Now, there is only one more task for you to complete, and then we shall go into the final stages of the Naturals Election."

She slammed her sword against the platform once again, and several giant pillars would rise up from the ground, piercing the heavens and almost taking some of the students around you with them. They were intimidating structures, right underneath Honnouji's courtyard. "Make it to the top of these pillars. Only one can be at the top of each pillar. Fight for the top spot amongst your peers. Now!"

And then, like that, chaos ensued. For a moment, you weren't sure you were going to make it, but your adversaries were weakened after a week's worth of battle, unlike yourself. You were able to quickly get the upper hand, and climb your respective pillars, along with seven other students. You had all made it to the top of your respective pillars within only a minute or so. Clearly these were the best of the best...

"Excellent work," Satsuki said in an almost accusatory tone. "Now, there are seven of you, but only one will get the chance of being a member of the Elite Four. There is only one way to decide the true winner. All seven of you shall compete against each other, with the city around Honnouji being your battleground!"

So just an extension of what you've been doing all week? Sounded simple enough... Lady Satsuki continued. "There shall only be one victor, and you are eliminated from the fight once your Goku Uniform is destroyed. Your trial starts...now!"

And then, just like that, you all moved, dispersing from each other. Some went down the same direction while others were going far away from any of the other students. You had to think about what you had to do, though, but you'd leave the Academy just like the rest of them. This was the culmination of all your hard work. Let's see if it pays off.

The Combatants[]

Name: Tsubasa Kobayashi

Age: 15

Club: Horror Movie Club (But they accept all horror media)

Appearance: Without the influence of his Goku uniform, he's mostly just a scrawny, unsuspecting kid. He's skinny, has black hair, brown eyes, and a general hunched over and reserved body language. He stands at a little over five feet tall so he's pretty small, and he has a slim build, almost unhealthily skinny. He's also a bit pale, looking a bit like a corpse with how light his skin is. With his actual Goku Uniform, which is simply a mask and a mechanic's style jumpsuit, he grows to be almost six feet in height due to the effects of the Life Fibers on his body. Not only that, but he gains a considerable amount of muscle on his body, becoming much more bulky and swole. His face would then be covered by a mask which molds to his face, complete with a nice, ear-to-ear smile and a pair of unblinking blue eyes. It's seemingly made of plastic, or at least feels like it. His hair also becomes slightly longer and more frizzled.

Personality: Well, without the goku uniform taking it's effect he's different, but who cares about that. With his Goku Uniform on he turns into almost the horror character version of the Mask. Or I suppose Art the Clown is just as good of an example. He's a complete psychopath, taking pleasure in the pain of those he specifically points out as his enemies. He mostly tries to stay the silent, stalker-type of killer like Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees, but he's unable to keep that silly facade going for long and devolves into a giggling maniac within the first few moments of a fight.

He's incredibly creative, as well, being able to use just about anything around him as a weapon, and he's intelligent enough to make traps, but that's for later. He's not exactly one to think ahead, but that doesn't mean he charges right into a fight. He will take his moment to watch on the sidelines if he is able to, waiting for a good moment to strike, but after that moment he sorta just...doesn't think about what to do next and relies a bit on instinct.

Backstory: Tsubasa was always a bit of a lonely boy. Being at Honnouji Academy is really difficult, especially when you're not part of the elite clubs that get you your uniforms, that would raise your social status. He tried to join most of the sports clubs, but they were all far too physically involved for him, and most of the other clubs just didn't interest him. For a moment, he thought he was going to be particularly alone during his time at Honnouji, just another nameless No-Star.

That is, until he had found comfort in what was originally a small group of kids, who would meet with him during lunch. They would talk about horror movies, who their favorite slasher was, and the like. Eventually that was starting to become all they ever talked about. It was only a matter of time until Tsubasa had the idea, however, to start a club based off their love of horror movies! Of course, they shortly realized that Horror Movies are something very specific, and therefor not as many people were joining as they hoped, so they eventually incorporated all types of horror media into their fold. It wasn't long until they had enough people to get the club recognized and for him to get a Goku Uniform. Something he didn't expect, but...he wanted to try it out so badly.

It was a mask. That was what his Goku Uniform primarily consisted of. It was odd, but they said that was the main component, with the jumpsuit he was given (which was far too big for him) being something only secondary. The mask would seem to speak to him, with that big, wide smile and the goading look in his eyes. Over the next few months, Tsubasa would struggle with that mask, not wanting to put it on because he was afraid of what it was going to do, knowing the power behind even a Two-Star goku uniform. Though, with the Naturals Election coming up...well, now he just has to put it on, doesn't he?

Powers, Weapons and Abilities:

Supreme Strength: When it comes to goku uniform users, they are generally strong. Tsubasa takes that strength and ups it up by about fifty percent. He's strong, even surpassing some of the more casual Goku Uniform users. The life fibers really choose to pump up his body and his musculature, meaning that a straight up fist fight with him would normally end up with the opponent being on the floor bleeding. With one punch he can leave rather big craters in the ground, and he's strong enough to level an entire side of a small building, but that's sort of child's play either way. Basically, whatever feats of strength most goku uniform users show, if they're a two star, he can do it with more ease.

Expert Stealth: His stealth is pretty good, when it comes to it. When he needs to hide, the suit wraps around him and blends into the shadows. If he's in a dark corner, even if it's a particularly small corner of the room, he can hide in it with considerable amount of ease.

One Final Scare: This isn't really anything special, but it's used to trick others into dropping their guard. Tsubasa can go into a state of being where his heart rate is slowed to the point where it almost stops, and his breathing is practically unnoticeable because he just doesn't need to do it. This can be used after taking a substantial beating, and then to give his opponent one final scare to hopefully get the upper hand. This loses it's element of surprise if used on the same person more than once, but it's useful when it has to be.

Blade Glove: Though one could argue if he really needs a weapon with that strength of his, the life fibers that make up the suit can morph around his hand to form something like a Freddy Krueger gauntlet, mean that he can easily swipe off someone's limbs with a wave of his hand...should a shot connect, that is. He's not exactly known for being fast, so an attack or two are likely going to miss.

Improvised Weapons: Not really something exclusive to him, but worth mentioning. Tsubasa, in this form, is more than capable of turning any object around him into a deadly weapon. From trash cans to pencils to road signs, he can use just about all of them as a weapon, and efficiently enough to get the job done. Though their use on someone using a Goku Uniform is questionable at best...

98ca6ca07ddde044117420ab1bcc5402

Name: Akihisa Banri (aka Obscurus Fucko)

Age: 16

Club: Obscure Media Club (aka Losers Club)

He's 5'4 and has a mesomorphic built. Likes to wear suits and ties as if its going to help him with the ladies.

Personality: Banri is not your typical Japanese schoolboy. He's a hardcore geek, so hardcore, that the only comics, manga, games or films that he watches are the most obscure POS in this side of fandom. They are so obscure in fact, that the other OCs... ehem... students think that he's making them all up. This has led to him being isolated, depressed and pretty much a loner. He tries to converse with other people but his interests are so eccentric and obscure, that it made him look like a weirdo. However, his eccentrism is also what gave him amazing super powers... powers that he plans to use on a sinister level. The school treated him as an invisible nobody for years now but that will soon change as Banri will use his abilities to force everyone to finally notice him, either it be good or bad.

Powers: Most of his weapons and powers come from the obscure shit that he digs throughout his life.

The Peaky Blinder- A seemingly ordinary flat cap belonging to Henry Lightfoot but actually has razor blades stitched in its peak that allows him to basically slash and mutilate unwitting enemies. Banri can also tip his cap which gives him Lightfoot's (and Hugo Coghlan's ) ability of super toughness, which means that he is invulnerable to all forms of attack for 10 seconds, and a cooldown of 20 seconds. But the "tips fedora" move has dangerous consequences, in that girls are seemingly repulsed and disgusted by him, making them feel really sick and vomit, as well as decreasing his chances of getting a girlfriend by 95%.

Alien Hand: When he was a kid, Banri lost his hand after a poodle bit it. For this, his parents gave him a prosthetic hand from a bargain bin but little did they know that this was actually Ken Clarkson's X-O metal arm that is made up of super tough alien alloy that gives Banri superhuman strength and protection. Sadly, Banri cannot use it for... intimacy purposes. Further deepening his depression and making him more stressed and anxious with his life, giving him an increase in physical strength but a decrease in emotional health.

Yankee Destroyer: A normal Henry Rifle belonging to the unknown Civil War hero Edward Hogger. Like any other lever-action Henry's it can fire .44 rounds in a 15-round tubular magazine. The fact that he's a student that carries a gun in school gives the gun the ability to triple its damage output when faced with gaijin opponents.

Albion's Bane: When Banri was a kid, he loved playing Fable III everyday. This game was said to be so cursed that it led to the bankruptcy of its developers and the end of its series. But the curse had no effect on him as he played the game 24/7. The insane and unhealthy obsession that Banri had over this game once made him go mad to the point that he forged a weapon identical to the one used by the Tyrant King. He then stored all of his love and obsession of the game inside the sword, which resulted in the sword gaining magical properties similar to the game such as being able to shoot lightning bolts and fireballs. This also has an unfortunate consequence as the moment Banri uses it, he becomes a power hungry and sadistic tyrant, increasing his intellect and cunning but decreasing his empathy.

THE BIGGEST LOSER: In order to get through the fact that he's a friendless geek, Banri bottled all of his depression and anxiety in an amulet. When opens said amulet, his popularity goes from 1% to 0% and he practically becomes invisible to everyone at school for a minute, and can only be replenished by storing more of his depression and anxiety in it.

Not Sayori

Name: Sayaka Hattori

Age: 18

Club: Literature Club

Personality: Sayaka is an archetypical Genki Girl, being talkative and cheery. She is very clumsy, noted for finding ways to accidentally hurt herself or to drop things. Regardless, she is shown to be a cunning individual who can trick others to get food. Sayaka is kind and caring at heart, being one of the few club presidents that actively seeks to protect the no-stars, which has earned her a loyal following among them. Some have even gone as far as to worship her as a goddess, having dubbed her 'The Bun'. Though not the original president of the Literature Club, she was one of its founding members and only obtained presidentship after the former president, moved to another school.

Powers, Weapons and Abilities:

Pen: Seemingly a normal ballpoint pen used the write poems with. Once the barrel is twisted clockwise its special mode activates. In this mode, Sayaka can alter the properties of whatever object she writes on. Writing 'hard as steel' for example will make any object as hard as steel, writing 'fiery hot' will cause the object to burst into flame, etc.. It does have its limits, however. The pen can only affect an area as big as 297mm x 420mm (the size of an A3) and objects that have been written on can only have one active effect. It also has a limited supply of ink and occasionally needs a new cartridge.

Notebook: Just a normal notebook Sayaka tears pages out off to write on.

Books: Sayaka carries four books in her backpack each of a different genre and their own special effects when opened.

The Adventures of Mr. Cow: A children's book about a friendly anthropomorphic cow who gets involved in all kinds of misadventures and always learn an important life lesson in the end. When opened, a life fiber construct resembling Mr. Cow jumps out to aid Sayaka, helping her by tripping opponents, intercepting attacks, and doing his best to distract enemies. True to its counterpart, Mr. Cow isn't very bright, often tripping over his own hooves, accidentally knocking over objects, and even forgetting what he was supposed to do at times. He also isn't very durable, being easily destroyed but can be resummoned after 30 seconds after his demise. Only one Mr. Cow can be active at a time.

Portrait of Markov: A psychological horror novel about an artist who slowly becomes insane trying to complete a portrait, eventually being haunted by visions which blur the lines between reality and his own diluted mind. When the pages are shown to an enemy, they will see whatever they fear the most.

Parfait Girls: A manga about a group of quirky girls and their daily lives. When opened up, it restores the reader's stamina and boosts their spirit. Writing Advice for Beginners: A big educational book filled with advice on how to write stories and poems and lists some interesting facts about literature. It has no special ability, but because of its big spine and hardcover, it makes for a pretty good bludging weapon.

Superhuman speed: To go with her happy go lucky nature, Sayaka's Goku uniform grants her superhuman speed. This allows her to write incredibly fast and run at speeds of 100 km/s. According to Sayaka, she gets faster the more sweets she eats, though most students believe this to be an excuse to get snacks from them.

Name: Moe Tsunoda (角田 萌)

Age: 17

Club:

Mycology Club

Appearance

Around 1.65m standing straight, but her terrible posture lowers that by a bit. Has straight black hair that goes to the middle of her back, which she keeps in a messy ponytail. Her general bearing tends to get her labeled as "gloomy," though her intelligence and abilities are undeniable. Her Goku Uniform is a simple grey sailor uniform with vertical, darker-grey stripes. The skirt of her uniform is ankle-length.

Personality

Moe tends to keep to herself, preferring to focus on fungi rather than people. While this has not made her many friends, it has given the mycology club total confidence in her. Her general disinterest in people allows her to ignore taunts and psychological attacks, but also prevents her from reading her opponent's emotions and making such attack herself. She just tends to do her own thing and force others into her pace. Dislikes overly-energetic people.

Powers, Weapons, Abilities

Mycelium:

This Goku Uniform's main ability is to spread itself across surfaces. Moe can utilize the creeping fibers as sensors, can control them at will, and can freely move wherever the uniform is spread. While that last is unremarkable on the ground, when the Mycelium creeps its way up walls or odd angles it shines.

Mycelium: Absorption:

Once it spreads over a surface, the Mycelium can release acids that can break down rock on either side of the surface, and utilize those materials to spread faster. This allows it to either strike those standing on it or penetrate underground to ambush an unsuspecting foe.

Mycelium: Puppet:

Should the Mycellium make contact with the head of a living being, it can take control of it. This forces Moe to divide her attention, however, as she must control each puppet consciously.

Magic Blades:

Not actually magic, just a pair of survival knives coated with psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms.

Name: Anastacia Justine

Age: 16

Club: Sci-fi Club (Mainly just Star Wars and Godzilla on endless repeat)

Appearance:She's about 5'3, weighs about 90 pounds, with brown hair and eyes plus an attractive figure that hides her true nature but since that comes next. Let's get into her clothing choices which is a bunch of silver for both her Goku uniform's casual mode and combat mode, the former is a typical Japanese school sailor uniform and the latter is an armored form similar to her favorite character's designs, lots of cool shiny bits around her body and slight boring regular silver breaks around the pieces. The greatest part is her absolutely fabulous helmet which is shaped like a dragon head with a giant T visor for seeing out of it.

Personality:She's an expert at commanding her loyal club of nerds through fear and the chance to actually get with a girl of her stature if they actually help her win something but she's generally good at getting under people's skin in combat like any mean girl through taunts and so, so much laser spam. Unfortunately underneath her confident self, lies a coward who knows that she'll get pummeled the moment somebody closes the distance and so spends most of her time trying to either fool the sheep into following her so they can be walking cover or keep moving as far back as possible until the actually smart people are goners.

Backstory:Anastacia was known as one of the top class leaders prior to high school so why dod she join the Sci-fi Club? Some of her friends knew that she was a complete fangirl for her favorite series in that genre involving helmeted guys with lasers and giant radioactive lizards but they also knew she had an insatiable desire for power.

The nerds were fools to let her take over as she soon put them through endless marathons of only her favorite series because apparently they'd all decided that was the closest they'd ever get to a girl. Needless to say, it was as much a surprise for her as anyone else that she wound up getting the Sci-fi Club's Goku Uniform until she remembered she had been dating that previous chump of a leader for the past season.

Justine's heart finally skipped a beat for something as her uniform was everything she dreamed of, a silver sailor outfit that turned into an armor suit reminiscent of her idols. She knew she had to repay Lord Chump somehow so he gave him the honor of holding her pet rabbit while she displayed her awesome laser powers. But she's always wanted to try her lasers on something sentient and she couldn't do it to an animal so that just leaves every other Club Leader.

Powers, Weapons, and Abilities:

Baby Lasers:These annoying things are small beams of light that hurt quite a bit, almost like getting your fingers repeatedly burnt by a hot plate, and can go a surprising distance, more or less 100 feet. The worst part is that she can literally unleash dozens of these from her wrists in about half a minute before it starts overheating.

Jump-Pack:This giant thing is located on her back and powered by the same lasers that can propel her 30 meters through the air forwards or backwards at 60 MPH. It takes about a minute to recharge after each use and can only be used three times however which prevents it from being spammed in combat and can actually be used to burn opponents horribly if they're in the path of the laser stream.

Burn Rope:Another wrist-mounted weapon that can trap even a 2-Star Goku Uniform wearer for five seconds, while this doesn't sound like long, the rope immediately starts heating up afterwards to keep an opponent immobilized with complete agony afterwards as it burns away to lasers.

Goku Armor:Her Goku Uniform is largely the same as other uniforms in strength and speed but has superior damage taking potential in that even getting hit by a speeding car won't even move her, the car will just stop on her and she likely won't even move from the impact.. It also looks really cool and that's what truly matters, isn't it? (Along with being immune to heat as it frequently forms baby lasers inside it.)

Contacts:Like any teenaged terror of a female, Anastacia Justine has heard a lot through her network of friends and other useful groups (largely hackers who deal with personal electronic info) which keeps her prepared for any new arrival that she can manipulate into bending to her will or make curl up into a ball with insults.

Name: Marshal Umber

Age: 17

Club: Baseball Club

Appearance: Standing confidently and proudly at 1.8m, Marshal takes homebase with a friendly smile. With a mess of black hair resting on his head and beaming green eyes with a relaxed stride in each step he takes. His build is lean with the most clearly seen muscle definition on his arms and legs in the confines of his Goku uniform. Speaking of which, his uniform has pinstripe pants with alternating navy and red stripes, black knee high socks cover the lower half of his pants, cleats and a bomber jacket with his club's logo on the back, he designed the jacket and logo for his club and made them, a fact that he's very happy about.

Personality: He is a deeply compassionate and kind individual and respects his opponents deeply for the strength of their own convictions or beliefs. This extends into his combat style and willingness to fight to the best of his ability. As he believes that the best way to respect your competition and give them a worthy for is integral to ones willingness to devote themselves wholly. As such he strives to improve himself and others through their bouts and will push himself to victory.

Marshal is fiercely loyal to his club and the members of his club acting almost as a mother to his group. He makes them snacks, made their jackets for the club and is willing to defend them to the utmost of his ability. Believing that a leader should be dedicated to his team and followers, while maintaining that he must be example to them in order to gain the respect and admiration of his fellow students. As a result his members are devoted to a great degree to their commander. Although he can dote of his members slightly it comes with the territory and he ensures that he walks home with all of them and that they each get to school every day.

Background: Born the son of two Italian immigrants in a large family (Umbria is an Italian word that I just learned so now I can totally say I planned this), Marsh was raised in the lower economic areas of New York. Being born into such a large family, the boy would have to help around the house with cooking, cleaning, homework and general chores to ensure the household was stable. Poverty was grueling and crime would be common in his neighborhood, but he was raised on the tales of the old days of American sports and found his love and friends in the game of Baseball. Frequently enjoying America's favorite past time, Marsh would become fast friends with others, the game having a uniting quality that allowed him to forget the woes of his life and respite from reality that surrounded him. He came to see men like Babe Ruth as heroes and took the game as a source of pride for his heritage and life that he would carry onto Honnouji Academy following his mother's company being brought out by Revocs and thus the family was relocated to Japan.

The move was hard on Marshal as he had to abandon his beloved friends and country leaving behind the life he once knew. To cope he played baseball often seeing it as his connection to the friends he had across the Pacific. Eventually others joined him in his games and he unofficially and later officially created The Baseball Club. The intent of erasing boundaries and ensuring that all can partake in the world's greatest game. As such, Marshal is dedicated to his club and ensuring that his memories will be carried onto the legacy of the club to inspire and have others join. He now sees the chance to become an Elite Four member as an oppurtunity to further these ambitions and to do his friends here and in America proud that their brother or 'mother' in the case of his club's nickname for him, as a beacon to those around the academy and beyond.

Power, Weapons, and Abilities

Baseball Bat: As expected from the President of the Baseball Club, he carries around a baseball bat. I don't know if you were all expecting more than that, but its a baseball bat, one of my many, but this is his. Appears to have a wood finish, but seems supernaturally more powerful and durable than one. He hits balls and people or hits people in the balls with it, whichever gets the job done.

Supply Bag: In order to ensure that his club is always in tip top shape, Marshal carries around a supply pack that carries well supplies. In its contents are what can only be defined as a bottomless pit of materials ranging from countless baseballs, extra bats, water, snacks and equipment. The exact extent of the materials within is unknown, but Marshal figured out the contents of the pack and knows where the materials are. Several baseball bat grips extend out of the open hole on top for easy access, provided he wants to shower a ground with his tools, Marshal will throw the pack upwards and unleash a torrent of baseballs and bats around the field, to shower his opponents in a hailstorm of balls or stab his bats all around the ground.

Baseball Transformation: Less of a real power and more of an odd quirk. Basically anything inanimate object (rocks, boulders, trees) are hit with such power are transformed into what can be defined as a baseball shape. Object will retain its rough size, but simply become more baseball like. Marsh isn't sure how it works either, but he considers it very cool.

Super Strength: Constant training with baseball and the accompanying training regimen to excel in this sport and to inspire others has given Marshal super strength. Training his leg muscles by constant laps around the field, the strength in his arms and feet have launched him in a powerful physique. Combining this with life fibers of the uniform has given him enough strength to have his baseballs launch hundreds of miles per hour or causing craters in the ground. The sheer force of his being capable of sending targets flying or cause a ripple effect from the blast.

Babe Ruthless: Channeling the power of the greatest Baseball player to ever exist or rather his just own personal ability and admiration for a hero to the game, Marshal has gained a technique he named after the player. Babe Ruthless modeled itself after the career of its namesake allowing Marshal to launch towards any balls he throws or hits, allowing to him to engage his enemies from various angles and keeping them or their toes or just disengaging from situations that may become precarious himself. As expected its used with Curve the Ball-et to move around the field more rapidly and keep the pressure on. Also using to teleport rapidly between multiple balls and keep momentum and power on his hits increasing.

The All American: His ultimate ability designed for sheer power and defense through his connection for the love of the game and will to bring people of all cultures together through American's past time. Impeded the power of stars and stripes into the the very bat and objects he hits causing the a patriotic explosions of red, white and blue to the immediate area with fifty star shaped projectiles streaming through the area in all directions that he can travel on or use as weapons against his foes. The stripes creating a zone of control that is shaped like a baseball ring where no one can interrupt the match.

Curve The Ball-et: As with Baseball and throwing of the ball, there are many techniques with throwing the ball at varying angles to catch your opponent off guard or attacking from unexpected sides. Curveballs, screwballs, breaking balls, changeups, the works that allow him to trick opponents or body his opponents with brute force or wearing them down from a range. Think about how Joseph or Wamuu used the stadium to curve the shot towards each other and you get a pretty decent idea on the tricks he can do with the balls. As such he tries to figure out how to best approach the situation with his shots and mess around with them. He can even transfer this energy into his bat and connecting it with the ball toss changing the trajectory of the hit and moving it in mid-air, adding the force of his hits into the ball or object he 'makes' one and aiming to attack his opponent for angles or where they least expect it.

Name: Nezumi Kozō IV (Real Name), Robin Hood of Honnouji (Nickname)

Age:16

Club: Archery Club

Appearance: Both with and without the Goku Uniform, Nezumi is by all accounts a slim individual, standing at around six foot tall. His body posture always seems to be quite tense, as if he's always on high alert. His eyes are a piercing light blue, though one could hardly tell besides in the heat of battle because his eyes are almost always in slits. With the Goku Uniform, being represented by a bow of course, Nezumi's upper muscle mass slightly expands, but his legs and arms are a different story. His legs gain substantial muscle mass, along with his arms, which moderately expand in size.It also gives Nezumi an unrelenting heroic smile, which is known to be quite unnerving to some. And finally of course with the Goku Uniform active, Nezumi is instantly given Robin Hood style clothing, including the trademark hat with a feather in it,a long green shirt, and a belt wrapped around his lower waist.

Personality: In normal life, Nezumi is quite detail-oriented and almost always silent. His piercing eyes match his seemingly cold exterior. Some people think he's just a creepy man, but what he's really doing is analyzing everyone he sees. Nezumi keeps diaries of every important figure he can in the school, listing known powers, personality types, strengths/weaknesses etc. With the Goku Suit, things change just a little bit.The Suit not only augments his already impressive archery skills, it augments his personality as well.He becomes much more jovial, and protective of others, often being more willing to work as a team. (This however does not affect his cognitive ability). But even in this state, Nezumi is not above using an opponent's weakness against them or using his allies to further his goals if the need truly arises.

Backstory:Nezumi was born in Tokyo as a descendant of the original Nezumi Kozo. His parents were the leaders of a non-profit organization that assisted those below the poverty line to acquire jobs, better housing, food/water etc. And funnily enough, his father was a skilled archer of his own right. So when Nezumi showed promise in archery, his father decided to nuture this skill. They practiced almost every day, until Nezumi was an absolute master. And with his keen analytical eye, it wasn't long until Honnouji spotted him and transferred him to their academy. There he founded the Archery club, which he runs with a calm, calculating demeanor.

Powers/Weapons/Abilities:

- The Bow of Robin Hood: It's just a simple bow right? Well if you thought that, you'd be right! Like the myth of Robin Hood, Nezumi carries a simple bow of rough wooden construction, except on the wood is inscribed Nezumi's name, and the kanji for "Fight for the poor". And of course it includes 20 arrows to start, which Nezumi can acquire more of in his quiver.

- Quiver of the Poor: To go along with a bow, one always needs a quiver, and Nezumi certainly has one, that at the surface just looks like a regular ol' quiver. But this time, it's not like the Bow, it's got much more than a quiver. It actually functions as a mini home to Nezumi, who can jump within in it to retreive supplies including all different sorts of arrows including fire, ice, and electric arrows, bandages, extra hats and even other bows.Nezumi however has a limited time within this world, with a five minute maximum stay time before he is cast outside. It also has a cooldown of about three minutes, so Nezumi cannot just escape again and again.

-Eagle Eyes: While not literally eagle eyes, when Nezumi uses this ability it allows him to enter a state where his eyes turn yellow and he gains the enhanced precision and perception of an eagle, allowing him to have even better accuracy than normal. This allows him to riccochet shots into his targets, hit targets moving at high speeds, and even fire backwards to hit his targets. This effect lasts for 30 seconds, and while Nezumi can technically use it again and again, it causes intense physical pain after repeated use.

-Superhuman Speed/Agility and Accuracy: Nezumi even without his Eagle Eyes is a fantastic marksman, casually hitting people while running himself and can just as easily do so from high perches and buildings. Nezumi can also run at speeds upwards of 40 MPH, easily outpacing even the fastest athletes. And finally, he has demonstrated that he can easily avoid most punches, kicks, and has even dodged arrows fired at him from about 20ft away.

-Ultimate Ability: Burst Arrow: This ability comes from Nezumi's most special and coveted arrows he has, the titular Burst Arrow. These arrows when fired, immediately split into 50 mini-arrows which exchange overall power for much greater speed and a spread effect. Nezumi usually takes 10 of these arrows at time, adding up to 500 mini-arrows at one time. Nezumi carries 40 of these on hand at all times, giving him a maximum of four uses of it.

Name: Magnus Kasparov

Age: 16

Club: Chess Club

Appearance:

Kill la Kill Character

His Goku Suit is a full bodysuit which alternates between black and white depending on if he is on the defensive or on the offensive. It also comes with a chess king hat.

Personality

Magnus is generally quiet and unassuming, rarely speaking to anybody except for on the subject of chess. However, behind this meek exterior he is fiercely competitive and determined to win at all costs whether in chess or any other sort of competition. In chess, Magnus likes to play the long game, grinding out moves until his opponent either makes a mistake or he finds a way to capitalise and this carries over into his battle strategy as well.

Backstory

Born in Vladivostok to a Russian father and Norwegian Mother, Magnus is distantly related to former world chess champion Garry Kasparov on his father’s side and as such grew up playing chess. Starting from the age of two, it was quickly apparent that Magnus had a keen eye for chess strategy and was competing in tournaments from the age of seven, first in Russian and then in Japan when his family emigrated there. Upon transferring to Honnouji Academy he founded the Chess Club which he devoted himself to the exclusion of everything else, causing his grades to suffer despite his intelligence.

Powers, Weapons and Abilities

Astral Projection: Magnus’ Goku Suit gives him the power of Astral Projection, which allows him to manifest his willpower in the form of spiritual constructs which in Magnus’ case take on the form of chess pieces. When initially summoned they form a starting chess position around Magnus, who is considered the “King” piece. Each piece varies in size with a pawn being the smallest and a queen being the tallest. Magnus can summon 15 pieces at once, 8 pawns, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 2 rooks and 1 queen.

The pieces can move at incredible speeds and being struck with one is enough to send a person flying and a person caught between two or more pieces can be crushed. The pieces are durable enough to tank multiple blows from a sword, bullet, projectile etc but are weaker to magic based attacks. Once a piece is destroyed Magnus loses access to it unless he gets chance to rest and reset his mental energy and if all pieces are destroyed then Magnus will be knocked unconscious. Magnus can also only move each piece one at a time, although the speed at which the pieces move means they travel at roughly one piece per second.

Magnus himself is unable to move while using his Astral Projection so prefers to keep away from battle, usually with a few pieces to defend himself. Magnus can also see through his pieces allowing him to survey parts of the battlefield allowing him to use them without having to be physically present although he can only see through one piece at a time. Magnus can at any time stop the projection and move freely again but all pieces will instantly disappear and the physical toll on him means he will be unable to summon them again without considerable rest time.

Each piece’s attributes is listed below.

Pawn: A pawn stands at 1.2 metres tall and can only move forward in a straight line unless there is an enemy ahead of them diagonally in which case, they can move to strike them. A pawn can move up to 2 metres in a single move except when attacking diagonally in which case it can only move 1 metre. A pawn’s only form of attack is to collide with a person or object to do direct damage.

Rook: A rook stands at 1.3 foot tall and can move vertically or horizontally in any direction and can move up to 8 metres in a single move. The Rook has the highest defence out of any of the pieces, able to take twice the damage of any of the others apart from the Queen which it equals. Aside from this it’s only form of attack is colliding with a person or object to do direct damage.

Knight: A knight stands at 1.5 metres tall and can move in an arching quarter circle motion in any direction and can move up to 3 metres in a single move. Knights attack with a slashing motion as they move, cutting through anything in its path as well as doing colliding damage at the place where it lands.

Bishop: a bishop stands at 1.8 metres tall and can move in any diagonal direction, up to 8 metres in a single move. The Bishop causes mental strain on any person within a metre radius which makes them doubt themselves and increase the likelihood of them making mistakes or missing their attacks. The Bishop can also do the same colliding attack as all other pieces.

Queen: a queen stands at 2.2 metres tall and can move in any direction; vertical, horizontal, diagonal, backwards, forwards, to the side up to 8 metres in a single move. The queen combines all the previous abilities of other pawns, that being the high defences of the Rook, the slashing attack of the Knight, the status effect of the Bishop and the same colliding damage that all pieces can perform.

Voting Rules and Match Details[]

Fighting will take place across the entirety of the city around Honnouji Academy. This is not a fight to the death this is only a fight to really remove the others Goku uniform, which can be done in a Variety of ways but the most popular method is brute force.

List the combatants in order of 7th to 1st place, based off who would take what spot. Yada yada. You get the drill. Voting will end sometime in March.

The Election[]

“Let the final phase of the Naturals’ Election commence!” Satsuki slammed her sheathed sword against the stone platform, and a loud bang echoed out through the academy grounds, as well as the platform below her cracking slightly. It was like a gunshot being the start of a race, a race of violence and destruction throughout the entire city.

The eight contestants stood still for a moment, gazing at each other from across their platforms, all of them trying to determine who would make the first move, and if they’d all break out into chaos. Eventually, Anastasia made the first move. A quick shot from a laser. A beam of light shot out of her wrists and went sailing towards Marshal. The baseball captain barely had time to react, leaning out of the way to an extent where he lost his balance.

“Woah!” Was the only exclamation he sent out as he fell off the edge of the platform to the academy grounds below. Tsubasa, the one closest to him, gasp and stared down at where he had fallen. For a moment, there was silence, until Marshal hopped back onto the platform with one mighty leap, now carrying a baseball in one hand, and his bat in the other. “Nice try, but try to work on your aim.”

Anastasia’s eyes narrowed and was ready to fire another laser, but Marshal had already tossed the baseball into the air and, instead of waiting for it to come back down, he leaped up to meet it in the air. Using his impressive strength even by Level 2 standards, he slammed his bat into the baseball and it fired towards Anastasia with a loud boom. It broke the sound barrier with ease and was gunning right for the sci-fi nut.

The girl’s eyes widened and she leaped out of the way just in time, for the moment the baseball hit the platform she was on, it shattered into hundreds of pieces, all falling down to the ground. If she hadn’t moved, she would probably be knocked to the next prefecture by now.

This was the move that broke the damn, as everyone else suddenly began moving. Many of them simply departed, running off in different directions throughout the city to come up with strategies or simply be able to sneak around. Marshal gave Anastasia a small salute before following suit and hopping off of the platform to go towards the city built around the academy.

“You little-” Anastasia did what the others had not thought of, and quickly leaped after one of the other contestants. She was moving towards Marshal, lasers at the ready and was leaping from platform to platform, before jumping out of the academy grounds with a single bound, right on Marshal’s trail. She was going to have to make this quick, because that baseball brat was going to be an issue for her later, she could tell.

After a while, the only two that were left were Tsubasa and Magnus. The two blinked and stared at each other for a moment. Magnus then sat down and closed his eyes. He started to gain a white aura that collected around him, which only made the remaining club leader a little frightened. It didn’t help when all of the platforms started to shake. Tsubasa got the hint that he should leave and quickly leaped off of his platform, sinking into the shadows that the giant stone pillar casted across the academy grounds.

As he left, Magnus was channeling all of his willpower, which would eventually manifest. What started as abstract shapes made of white energy turned into oversized chess pieces, which would materialize around him before slamming down on the platforms the other contestants were standing at, as well as a few of them materializing on the ground, as they didn’t have a lot of room on the platforms. Once they were all settled and summoned, a single pawn began to move out of the academy grounds and into the city, while knights and rooks sat close to Magnus, making sure to guard him.

And atop it all was Kiryuin Satsuki, watching from atop the academy. She saw the initial, small conflict and already knew that this was going to be different than the last time they held the Election. There might actually be a decisive winner this time. Either way, this should prove to be a challenge for all of them.

“Soroi, prepare some tea for me,” she said as she turned around, where her loyal butler stood, waiting for her every command. “And inform the city surveillance center that I’ll be observing the election from there.”

“Of course, Lady Satsuki.”

Baseballs Bats and Blaster Beams[]

Lasers shot down upon the streets of Honnouji as the two Two Stars travelled across city block after city block. This was Marshal currently being chased by the sci-fi nut Anastacia, who was trying to pelt him with lasers while making sure they didn’t overheat completely.

“I think she’s a bit angry at me,” Marshal said to himself with a chuckle, as one of the lasers flew past him and hit a nearby building, causing a miniature explosion with small chunks of debris flying and scattering amongst the ground. He smiled and landed next to the debris and picked one up. Like magic, it morphed into a spherical shape in his hand, still with the same amount of density as well.

“Batter up!” He tossed the ball into the air and smacked it with his bat, just as Anastacia landed on one of the nearby rooftops. It sailed right for her and she was just barely able to shoot it with her laser, causing it to blow up and harmlessly scatter dust across the road.

“Going to take more than that to shake me up.” She said as she aimed her laser shooter towards the baseball captain. “Now hold still so I can fry you.”

“Sorry, no can do. I got a competition to win.”

Anastacia growled and fired her lasers directly towards him. A single beam of light came travelling towards him, which he easily avoided, stepping out of the way. What he didn’t expect was the quick and sudden barrage of lasers coming out of her wrist shortly afterwards, which would leave him moving around quickly, hopping from place to place in order to avoid the lasers.

There was one final blast that Anastacia unleashed, knowing that firing anymore would run the risk of her overheating, and she activated her Jump Pack shortly after, a burst of heat shot out of the pack on her back and she quickly moved forward, down to where Marshall had just landed to avoid her laser shot.

“Burn Rope!” Anastacia spun around, a long whip coming out of her wrist, and then flicked her wrist towards Marshal. The whip travelled around Umber and, like a rope, tied him up and restrained him. Shortly afterwards, it began to heat up to dangerous degrees, burning marshall through his Goku uniform, causing the captain to scream out in pain.

“And just for good measure,” she said as she turned around and pointed the jump pack towards him. She activated it once more and a burst of flame shot out and enveloped Umber, burning him even further. By the time she turned back around to face him, the whip was gone, and Umber was unrestrained.

Not wasting any time, Umber dashed forward, narrowly avoiding a laser aimed his way, and picked up a nearby piece of debris. He tossed it in the air, where it would form into a sphere, and smacked it with his baseball bat, though he seemed like he was restraining himself. The ball still shot forward, but at less than impressive speeds.

Anastacia chuckled as she stepped out of the way easily enough, not even having to break a sweat. “Is that all you got? You’re already this weak? God, you’re pathetic.”

“Wasn’t aiming for ya,” he said before suddenly moving towards the ball with one quick lunge, faster than Anastacia’s eyes could process. She turned around just in time to see a bat directly aimed at her torso. She braced herself for impact, but that didn’t stop her from flying backwards and being slammed into a wall, where she would leave a massive dent in it, cracks forming all over the wall like a spider web.

“Good work, though. Just gotta stay on the alert.”

“Oh, would you shut up!” She aimed her laser at him once more and fired. Marshal chucked a baseball at it and the baseball exploded into dust and fragments, leaving him enough time to slam another baseball towards Anastacia.

Anastacia was hit dead on and was sent right through the wall of the building, slamming into it’s interior and smashing through furniture, like a wooden table and someone’s DVD rack. She stood up, just as the baseball captain stepped into the room. She aimed her wrist at him and fired.

A large spray of lasers came his direction, as she fired all of them at once towards him. This time, Marshall wasn’t as lucky. While he tried to launch around the room with his Babe Ruthless technique, he found himself getting tagged more often than he’d like, causing him to slow down and take even more shots.

Eventually, he closed the distance on Anastacia, just as her lasers overheated. He tossed a ball right in front of her face and launched towards it. He slammed the bat into her and she went soaring out a nearby window, far faster than she could travel normally. She slammed through two other walls and directly into a car parked on the other side of the building, causing the car alarm to go off and fill the air.

“Shit, I’m running out of options,” she muttered as she forced herself to stand up. She only had one use left of her jump boost. She had to get out of here. “Fine, you win. But don’t get too cocky.”

Marshal chuckled and casually walked forward as he watched Anastacia turn around and activated her jump boost, launching off in the opposite direction of Umber, who only waved her goodbye. “I wouldn’t really call that a win, but until next time!”

He shook his head and rested his bat against his shoulder and walked calmly down the street. Well, he sure didn’t get out of there unscathed but he thought he handled it pretty well. He couldn’t help but wonder how the others were doing.

The Loners[]

Walking lonely down the streets of Honnouji was a very lonely Akihisa Banri, who was simply ranting to himself as he continued to walk down the street, making wide gestures with his arms and attempting to rationalize why he was here in the first place, why he was even bothering with this stupid tournament.

“I didn’t even try to get this far,” he muttered as he continued walking along, his sword in his hands and his rifle at his back. “I didn’t go out seeking people to fight. I just defended myself when I had to and when the week was over, I showed up. I don’t even know why I bothered…”

He stared at the sword in his hand and sighed. He gave it a small, practice swing and ended up stumbling forward on accident. His form was less than perfect. He groaned and sat down on the street, putting his head in his hands. “Oh, I can’t do this! Why did I think I’d be able to do this!?”

Almost as quickly as he sat down he immediately stood back up. He shook his head, looking down at himself. No, no. He could do this. Without a doubt he could totally do this. He made it this far, didn’t he? Of course, it was via a total fluke, but that didn’t matter. He still made it this far! All he had to do now was fluke his way through just a little more. He had the tools to do it, he was sure of it. He could probably win this if he just...tried hard enough!

“And then maybe people would notice me finally,” he muttered as he looked around the area. He still wasn’t talking to anyone in particular, and no one was around. That was a good thing. He didn’t want his pep talk to himself to be heard by anyone else. It’d just seem like he was acting crazy, and he was anything but crazy.

He was super confident!

“Yeah! You’ll see! I’m going to be on top! You’ll see!” He then rushed off down the street, sword in his hand and ready to rush the first person he saw. Not the best strategy, but he was rather confident in his ability to protect himself in combat. You can’t blame him for being eager, really.

Though, what Banri didn’t notice while he was having a mini-breakdown before being subject to a violent mood swing was that there was, in fact, someone watching him. On top of one of the smaller buildings, a girl with black hair and a terrible posture watched as Banri went through all of his mood swings, and eventually watched him run off.

“Weirdo,” she said with a roll of her eyes before going back to what she was working on. On the rooftop she had decided to set up at, her fungus was already growing rapidly, enveloping the ins and outs of...whatever building this was supposed to be. She sort of hoped it wasn’t someone’s house, because they were going to have to clean up a lot of fungus by the time she’s done. Though, that could be said about the entire city, as well.

She didn’t really have time to think about the repercussions of this fight, though. She had more fungus to spread. Slowly and carefully, she removed a bit of the ever-growing mass of life from the rooftop and chucked them over to one of the nearby buildings. They stuck onto the wall, and began slowly growing and spreading once more. She smiled and, after a few more minutes of waiting, hopped off her rooftop and began to walk on the fungus infested walls.

Her plan was to play the long con. The others were going to tire themselves out while she was busy collecting more mass of lovely fungi. Once the competition was exhausted from their fight, she’d lure them in and finish them off. It should be rather simple, and in fact, it made her pretty confident in herself. She couldn’t think of anything that would really wreck her strategy. So, for the time being, she took to simple wandering, to spread the fungus that would eventually lead to her victory.

Books and arrows[]

Sayaka had to admit, she...didn’t have much of a plan when she left the circle where all the other students were. Her main plan was to hide out for a while and figure out a plan, actually. Was she just supposed to approach the first person she saw and fight them? To defeat someone is to remove their goku uniform, as well, and...well, she didn’t really want to see anyone here naked. That was really gross.

That being said, maybe that wouldn’t be a problem for her. She couldn’t find anyone at the moment. All the streets of Honnouji were completely empty. Sayaka remembered something yesterday about people evacuating the city, but she didn’t believe they could do that so quickly. It had only been 24 hours and suddenly the entire city was like a ghost town. It was almost creepy, in a way.

“This would actually make for a really good poem,” she said with a smile as she twirled her pen in her hand and pulled out her book. A ghost town provided the perfect atmosphere to write some spooky poems or short stories!

She didn’t get very far in her writing though. The moment she stopped moving to write something down, she saw an arrow wiz by her face and embedded itself into the wall of the building to the left of her, cracks sprawling out from the arrow like a web. She instinctively wrote ‘crap’ in her book before quickly ducking behind one of the cars.

“Oh no, it’s the archery guy,” She muttered as she stared at her book and tried to figure out what she could do to get out of this mess. She quickly began to write down ideas, words appearing on the piece of paper almost instantly, Sayaka writing down and discarding ideas as quickly as they entered her mind. She ripped out at least two different pages of her book before getting an actually useful idea.

“Good idea! Thanks brain!” She tapped her pen against her forehead and giggled before poking her head out from behind the car for just a moment. Sure enough, she saw an arrow heading towards her shortly afterwards, but she wasn’t too fearful at the moment. She quickly ducked back behind the car and the arrow stuck into the pavement in front of her.

She grinned and, with a speed barely anyone could comprehend, she dashed forward and plucked the two arrows from the wall and from the road. She took her pen, clicked it again, and began to write on the shafts of the two arrows.

Return to sender

She then hopped out from behind the car and launched an arrow into the air. As if gaining a mind of its own, it looped around in the air before sailing off in a specific direction, where presumably the archer was. Sayaka grinned. Now she knew where he was. What came as a surprise, though, was when another arrow soared through the air and hit the arrow she just threw and completely passed through it, and was now rocketing towards her.

“Ah!” She tumbled off to the side just before she became seriously injured. She took her other arrow and launched it forward once more, and it began moving yet again towards the Archer’s true location. She ran alongside the arrow this time, not wanting it to get away from her, or to be at risk of another stray arrow.

Kozo, who was resting atop one of the taller buildings in Honnouji, noticed the arrow and the girl headed his way and chuckled. He didn’t have to make a choice on who to attack here. Instead…

His eyes flashed yellow and he began to see even better than before, and his eyesight was already pretty good. With the increased perception of his eyesight, things seemed to move somewhat slower than before. The girl was fast, but she had a lot of distance to cover. He could calculate how far ahead he needed to shoot his arrow.

He notched the arrow into his bow and aimed. He took a deep breath in, and then let go of the arrow. It sailed through the air, and he was certain it was going to head right towards this incredibly, almost overwhelmingly fast girl. Meanwhile, the arrow was slow it’d be easy to dodge, so he didn’t pay it much attention.

Sayaka saw the arrow coming, though, and it almost moved terribly slowly when compared to her. She grabbed one of her special books and opened it as quickly as she could. Almost instantly, an anthropomorphic cow appeared out of nowhere and leaped into the air in front of her, just in time to take the arrow for her. The cow fell to the ground and she winced as she ran past him.

“Sorry!”

“I am okay!” Several more arrows came hurling towards the cow and landed around his stomach and torso area. He yelled out in pain and shook his head. “I am not as okay as I was before!”

Sayaka frowned and stared up at the top of the building where the archer was. She quickly ran behind the building, so as to get out of line of sight, before wondering how she was going to make it to the top. She was never any good at climbing but...it was worth a shot, wasn’t it?

Eventually, Sayaka was hopping from windowsill to windowsill, becoming nothing more than a blur as she hopped from one pace to another, scaling the building with a surprising amount of grace, even though on the inside she was absolutely terrified at how high she was. She’s never been this high off the ground in her life.

Kozo, meanwhile, had just finished off Mr. Cow when he realized that the girl wasn’t anywhere to be seen. He muttered a curse under his breath before looking down the streets, trying to find anything resembling that blur of a girl. Nothing. He shook his head and turned around, only to find a book heading straight for his face.

He just barely got out of the way as the book slammed into the ground, leaving several cracks where he was just standing. “Wow, you’re pretty strong, aren’t you?”

“It’s the Goku Uniform! We’re all strong!”

“Oh, come on, can’t take a compliment?” he grinned as he adjusted his hat. “Just because we have to fight doesn’t mean we have to be rude to each other, does it?”

“Well, I guess not, but I still want to-” That was all the distraction that Kozo needed. He reached into his quiver and pulled out an electric arrow. He notched it and fired in the middle of Sayaka’s sentence.

The girl didn’t respond by moving out of the way this time. Instead a different kind of instinct took over and she quickly catched the arrow in her hand. She stared at it for a moment, before the electricity went off and shocked her entire body. She screamed out in pain and collapsed onto the ground.

Kozo was in the middle of notching another arrow when Sayaka charged at him with her book at the ready. This time he wasn’t nearly as prepared, and got smacked in the face with a book going at least mach 5, easily. He stumbled backward. Attempting to get himself stable to shoot another arrow, but everytime he regained his balance Sayaka would smack him with another book. It wasn’t harmful, just terribly annoying. Eventually, though, he knew this was going knock him out or something along those lines, so he decided to play along.

One final book smack and Kozo fell down to his hands and knees, grunting in pain as he put a hand to his head. “Ah! Alright, alright! Stop!”

“You...You give up?” Sayaka asked, still brandishing her book like a deadly weapon, and to her, it really was a deadly weapon. You try getting blasted with a book going several times faster than sound! She looked the archery captain up and down, unsure of his true intentions.

“Yes, yes. I give up, you win.” Kozo did look rather injured, and Sayaka would hate to keep beating on an injured man. That probably goes against some sort of Geneva Convention or something. She didn’t read it, she didn’t really know.

“Well, if you insist,” she said as she pulled out her pen and clicked it once. “Stand still while I write something on you.”

Kozo flashed a grin up at Sayaka before grabbing an arrow from his quiver, and ice arrow, and stabbing it into Sayaka’s leg. There was an explosion of freezing cold, causing Kozo to be launched back and almost tumble off the rooftop completely, but it was worth it in the end. Both of Sayaka’s legs were encased in ice, leaving her completely immobile.

“H-Hey! What is this!?”

“Gotcha. As if I’d give up that easily,” he said with a roll of his ice before standing up and picking up the now immobile Sayaka, despite her protests. “You fight pretty well, though. You’re just a bit too nice. I’m going to do you a favor so you don’t get eliminated right away.”

“W-Wait, what’re you going to do?”

“You got that magic pen on you, right?”

“Of course I do!”

“Good, then this shouldn’t be a problem.” He took the frozen girl and chucked her off the edge of the building. Sayaka began to scream as she fell down the multiple story building. “Maybe I’ll see you later!”

Thankfully, Sayaka’s arms weren’t frozen, and she was easily able to click her pen. It took her a few seconds of screaming before she built up her courage and wrote on her frozen legs.

Hot.

Her legs started to feel like they were on fire, but it was better than having them freeze off. Rather quickly, the ice around her legs would melt completely, and she was able to move them around freely. It didn’t stop her from falling, however, and she closed her eyes as she was about to hit the ground.

Splash!

Sayaka opened her eyes and realized she was underwater. She blinked and looked around before swimming up to the surface. She gasped for breath and shortly after realized that she was in someone’s pool. Wait, the rich people have pools!? How come she didn’t have a pool! Her club’s popular!

She groaned and slowly swam out of the pool before looking at the building where the archer was. Not wanting to serve as further target practice, she ran down the streets, going as fast as she was comfortable with. It wasn’t only after she ran several blocks away did she decrease her speed to a more jogging pace. She glanced back in the direction of the building, hoping she didn’t have to run into that guy again.

It was then that she accidentally bumped into someone, due to being too caught up in thought. She gasped. “I am so sorry! I-”

She looked up just to see someone else wearing a Goku Uniform, like her, but this kid has a sword in his hand, some weird robot arm, and a gun strapped on his back. He stared at her for a moment before grinning.

She didn’t like that grin.

She let out a meek “Oh.”

A Slasher and a Pawn Piece[]

The area where the combatants had all originally started was turning into Magnus’ personal ground. He had taken his projected chess pieces and was commanding them to take apart the other pillars around him. His goal? Well, it was obviously to give less ground for his opponent to stand on and oppose him. If you have the high ground, you have a pretty good advantage in the middle of the fight. He was sure that the sci-fi girl would agree with him.

The pillars were slowly falling down with loud cracks and booms as they collapsed to the ground of the academy. Without a doubt anyone within a ew miles of the academy could hear that. Hear him having his way with the battle arena. It was a rather cool, empowering thing to do, even if it was really damaging the school’s property, he doubted he’d get in trouble for this. Especially once he wins.

That being said, what Magnus seemingly failed to notice was a specific, horror obsessed boy climbing up the pillar to the giant platform in the middle of the academy courtyard. Tsubasa had never actually left the Academy for long. He simply made it look like he left before blending into the shadows and observing what Magnus was doing. He watched as he brought down many of the pillars around him, and realized that if he didn’t act now he may not even be able to make it up to the chess nerd.

Blending into the shadows casted by the pillars was easy enough, and allowed him to move rather easily without being undetected. That being said, once he got to the top he knew that there wasn’t going to be any shadows to hide in, and that he was going to have to fight his way towards Magnus. That was an issue, however, because those chess pieces looked tall and formidable. He didn’t know how many of those he could take down without being eliminated himself.

You could imagine Tsubasa’s surprise when he finally made it to the top, to find an empty platform, and a clear shot towards Magnus. His eyes widened as the voice within the Goku Uniform told him to rush forward and take him down. The kid was defenseless! He should be able to take Magnus down before the blonde could even react.

His mind was made up within those first few moments and he quickly rushed forward, his claws equipped on either hand as he quickly moved forward to attack. Just as he leaped from the platform he was on towards the one Magnus was on, he heard the sound of stone scraping against stone, and his eyes widened.

Something big and fast came and slammed into him while he was in midair. It hit him like a truck and he shot out of the academy grounds like a rocket. Magnus chuckled lightly as his pawn knocked Tsubasa right out of the arena. Of course, he wasn’t going to just let him get away. That would be far too unfortunate.

Get him.

The pawn shot towards where Tsubasa had landed, the monolith of a chess piece ready to go on the offensive.

Thankfully for Tsubasa, he had eventually landed within the city, and didn’t get launched out of it like some sort of makeshift rocket. He landed on the ground and tumbled, definitely feeling something break but he wasn’t entirely sure what. Maybe it was his confidence.

“Well, not doing that again,” he muttered as he slowly stood back up. Justa s he got back to his feet, there was a loud boom as a giant pawn piece made of stone appeared in front of him. He regarded the chess piece for a moment with hesitation, before chuckling. “Oh, look, it’s the Rock. I’m a big fan, you know?”

The chess piece didn’t respond positively to his wisecrack. That wasn’t a good sign.

“Uh hey listen I’m just going to go if you don’t-” The pawn piece charged at him and Tsubasa just barely had time to move out of the way. It rammed into the side of a nearby building and caused the wall to crack and almost broke it completely. “Talk about collateral damage.”

The pawn moved away from the dent in the wall and spun around, shooting out any debris that might have gotten attached to it somehow. It was hard to tell where they thing was facing, though Tsubasa doubted that even mattered.

“Well, if we gotta do this the hard way,” he said with a chuckle before moving forward with his clawed glove. “I’m ready to carve a little statue out of ya.”

The pawn charged forward again, but it was too slow. Despite the pawn’s best efforts, Tsubasa moved out of the way and slashed at the pawn as it was moving by. As you might expect, when the blade hit the stone entity it merely created sparks that flew off and decorated the road with nice little bits of light.

Yeah, good job on that one, idiot,” the voice in the boy’s head said in a rather aggressive tone. “I don’t think the glove’s really cut out for the job.

“Dammit,” the boy muttered as he rushed to a nearby street sign and, without hesitation, ripped it out of the ground. A piece of concrete came along with it, but that wasn’t really important at the moment. Hell, it probably made it a more efficient clubbin’ tool.

This time, Tsubasa was the one to move forward. He took several steps forward, which quickly turned into him leaping at the pawn. As he travelled through the air, he held the street sign above his head, only to swiftly swing it downwards once he got close enough to the Pawn. He hit it right on the very top. The concrete around thestreet sign completely obliterated from the force of the impact. There was a second of delay before several spindly cracks began forming on the surface of the pawn, trailing down the entirety of it due to the powerful hit.

The pawn seemed to enter a type of enraged state, because this time it moved much quicker than before. It slammed right into Tsubasa the moment the cracks appeared on its body. Tsubasa couldn’t react as the pawn slammed him into the wall of a nearby building. It then began spinning around rapidly, the rough texture of the chess piece being akin to sandpaper, and it was scratching away at Tsubasa and bringing him quite the amount of pain.

After a few seconds of spinning, the pawn would slide back, only to slam Tsubasa into the wall once again and repeat the spinning process. This would repeat several times, with the horror nut not being able to do anything about it the entire time. He couldn’t get a proper hold on the Pawn to make it stop.

Do you really want to go out so early, kid?!” Came the voice in this head, the loud and aggressive tone. “Get your ass in gear and smash that statue!

Apparently all he needed was some tough encouragement, because that sprung him into action. As the pawn slid back to prepare for another ram, Tsubasa was prepared for it this time. The pawn charged towards him, but Tsubasa stopped it by slamming his foot against the pawn piece, causing the chess piece to stop it’s movement entirely.

For a moment, there was only silence as neither of them bothered to move. Tsubasa made the first movement a few seconds later, pulling his leg back and jumping towards the Pawn, aiming for the very top of the structure.

He hit the pawn dead on, and the sheer power in his jump caused him to knock the pawn piece over completely. It landed on it’s side with a loud thud, causing the ground around them to shake momentarily. Tsubasa looked at his fallen opponent, but he wasn’t done yet. He had to make sure it would never get back up.

The grabbed the pawn piece by the orb on the top, and, using all of his strength, he lifted it up into the air. It took all of his might to do so, but with quite the determination, he was ready to enact his master plan.

His master plan involved slamming it into the ground repeatedly, however. With his strength backing him up, eventually it got easier and easier to simply slam this chess piece into the ground. Cracks continued to show on the chess piece, getting worse and worse for the stone structure. The pavement it was being slammed into didn’t look good either, with a giant hole being formed in the road.

After about ten slams into the ground, Tsubasa prepared one final swing, this time aimed at a nearby car. If he could do this right, he could end this little skirmish…

By the time of this swing, his arms were practically crying out in pain due to the exertion of his muscles, but he just had to do this one more time. He slammed the chess piece down onto the car, and, as expected, it got flattened and crushed instantly, but what happened next was exactly what Tsubasa was hoping for. Any car can become explosive if you hit it hard enough! The dinky little car suddenly engulfed the chess piece in a fiery explosion, which sealed the Pawn’s fate. The chess piece was blown up into several hundred tiny pieces that became scattered around the ground.

Tsubasa didn’t get out of the explosion unscathed, of course. He was slammed back and into a nearby building, literally going right through the door, but he mostly felt fine. Slowly, he stood up, and rubbed the back of his head, looking at his handiwork. “Wow, talk about an explosive finish.”

He chuckled for a moment, before the friction burns inflicted by the statue took a toll on him. He winced and shook his head. “Right, let’s try to not do that again,” he muttered. He stepped out of the building, and walked down the street. All that and he didn’t even eliminate another student. He’d have to change that.

The Incel and the Bookworm[]

“Ah!” Sayaka cried out in pain as she was tagged by a lightning blast, coming from Akihisa’s sword. It sent her flying back from the sheer force of it, knocking her down the street and causing her to tumble. She was more surprised by the fact that he was actually able to tag her. Being fast was her thing! No one was supposed to hit her!

Sayaka grabbed her pen, and was about to write on her body that she was shock proof. She only got to the first letter before Banri unleashed another bolt of electricity on her. It travelled through her body, making her feel both in pain but also numb at the same time. She screamed out in pain and dropped her pen as a result. Crap! This wasn’t working!

Banri couldn’t help but chuckle at the scene that he himself was causing to lay out before him. There he was, the little loser Banri, causing another student to writhe in pain because of his powers. Honestly, not to sound a little insane, but it felt rather exhilarating to finally have a little bit of power behind him, even if it was only one girl. It certainly was a change over how he normally was around girls. Though, normally he wouldn’t want to hit a girl, maybe they could get along after this was over. He can help her get better and maybe the two of them could get together and-

He was spacing out way too much there. He completely forgot about channeling the electricity, and so Sayaka was free to move around again. Her first course of action was to rush towards Banri and slam his face in with a hardcover book. “That’s for shocking me!”

Banri stumbled backwards, taken out of his thoughts and having to process exactly where he was again. Wait, what was going on? Just as he remembered that, oh yeah, he was in a fight, Sayaka slammed the book over the top of his head, causing him to fall to the ground. “And that’s for wearing a weird fedora hat thing!”

Of course, at this point...Banri wasn’t entirely thinking straight. Well, he sort of was, but not rationally. Really he just wanted a win, as that would boost his self esteem up by about half, though even then that’s not saying much. The point is, he wanted to win, and he’d do anything to do that. So, he took the amulet that was around his neck, and opened it up.

Suddenly, he disappeared from Sayaka’s vision, and she stopped for a moment, not entirely sure what happened. She glanced around, trying to find where he had gone, but she couldn’t find any sign of him. “Uh…”

Suddenly something hit her in the side of the head. It felt like she had just gotten kicked by a horse, and she once again flew back, this time slamming into the back bumper of a parked car. The car crumpled up as she was slammed into it, and the alarm was going off. She was in a dazed state, not entirely sure what happened. The unexpected punch really rattled her brain up.

She couldn’t even react before she was lifted up into the air by an unseen opponent, Banri. Banri had grabbed her by the uniform collar and lifted her up all villain-style before slamming her down into the ground, causing several cracks in the pavement to form. He slammed his foot down on her chest and all the air exited Sayaka’s lungs. She couldn’t breathe, and she could hardly move.

A fireball suddenly formed in front of her, and she realized that if she didn’t act quickly, she was going to be toast, and no way did she want her clothes to burn off in front of this guy! Trying to get back into her body, metaphorically speaking, she grabbed one of her books at random and, thankfully, it was Mr. Cow!

The cow popped out of the pages of the book and slammed into the invisible opponent hovering over Sayaka. “That’s enough of you, villain!” The cow said in it’s normally goofy voice as Banri was tackled to the ground by the anthro cow. This gave Sayaka just enough time to stand up and run to grab her fountain pen.

She had just about made it, but the moment she closed in on the pen there was a loud bang that echoed throughout the street, and a sudden burning feeling in her leg. She tumbled to the ground and clutched her right leg. Did that guy really shut shoot her!? Who brings a gun to school??

“Ow ow ow ow ow!” Sayaka was rolling on the ground in pain as she brought her leg close to her torso, that painful, burning feeling only getting more intense by the second. There were three other loud gunshots, presumably for Mr. Cow, before, a few seconds later, she saw a fireball forming above her again.

Banri’s minute of invisibility wore out, and he slowly shimmered back into view. He stared down at the girl, who was totally at his mercy, and was ready to fry her and her clothes off. That was, until he felt something tap his shoulder. Out of instinct, he turned around.

He saw a kid with a mask, about a year younger than him but almost as tall, who balled his hand up into a fist and decked him in the face. Banri cried out in pain and dropped his sword. The kid, Tsubasa, picked up the now disarmed student and slammed him into the ground, like he did with Sayaka moments prior. He stomped down on his chest and leaned down. “Pick on someone your own size, huh?”

Banri squeezed his hand into a fist and slammed it into Tsubasa’s face. He gave much less of a reaction, but still stumbled off of Banri. Banri stood up shortly after and held his gun out, aiming it at Tsubasa, but the masked student quickly grabbed the barrel of the rifle and yanked it from Banri before slamming the butt of the gun in his face.

Dazed and with blurry vision, Akihisa couldn't stop his opponent from grabbing his hat and pulling it off his head.

“Hey! Give that back!”

“Fat chance!” Tsubasa tossed it into the air and, with the claws on his gloves flashing, he slashed at the hat at least ten times over the course of two seconds. The hat was reduced to tatters. And once Tsubasa was done, he slammed the butt of the gun into Banri’s face again. That knocked him out for good this time, and he crumpled to the floor.

“Didn’t want to hear him whining,” Tsubasa said simply before glancing to Sayaka, who was clapping for him.

“Yay! So, thank you for saving me and all,” She took her notebook out and ripped out a piece of paper. She took her fountain pen and began to scribble something down on the paper. She then crumpled it up into a ball and tossed it to Tsubasa. Instinctively, he caught it. “I really appreciate what you did and normally I wouldn’t do this but, you know how it is.”

Tsubasa raised an eyebrow and uncrumpled the piece of paper. He only saw one word written on the paper.

Explosive

“Aw, shi-”

Then the paper blew up.

Knighty-Knight[]

There Marshal was, again, dodging laser beams like his life depended on it. He knew he wasn’t going to die, because that was quite illegal even in Satsuki’s society, but Anastacia was certainly acting like she was going to kill him with all of the lasers she was shooting in his direction. As expected of her, though, they were all either a little off, or telegraphed enough for Marshal to avoid.

“You really gotta work on your aim!” Marshal said with a chuckle as he hopped from rooftop to rooftop to avoid the woman’s blasts. This didn’t exactly leave the girl in a good mood, however.

“Would you shut up already!”

“I’m just saying, if you’re going to fight me again, at least try to perform better than last time!”

“You know you are really annoying, right?”

“Really?” Marshal grabbed a nearby bottle that littered a rooftop and chucked it into the air, where it would quickly transform into a baseball shape. “Funny, I don’t get that a lot.”

He slammed the bottle towards Anatacia, who was around ten or so rooftops away. The bottle zoomed forward at the speed of sound, and the moment it was behind Anastacia, Marshal shot towards it, just to get behind her.

However, Anastacia was prepared this time, and the moment Marshall was behind her, she activated her jump boost. A laser shot out and assaulted Marshal, burning his skin and singing his uniform. He cried out in pain and stumbled out of the path of the laser beam. The boost managed to propel Anastacia forward, across several rooftops.

Before she was launched too far away, however, she spun around and shot her rope at Marshal. It wrapped around him like a lasso and in addition to burning him, dragged him along as Anastacia was propelled forward. The result? He was slammed into several walls while being burnt considerably. It certainly would take more than a little burn cream for those burns to go away.

Once the boost was finished, Anastacia walked to the end of the rooftop she landed on, and swung the tied up baseball player down onto the ground. There was a thud, and the club leader cried out in pain. Anastacia let loose a cocky grin and hopped off of the roof. Landing with a considerable amount of grace, she moved forward as the rope retracted back into the suit’s wrist.

“Obviously those who say you aren’t annoying have never fought you.”

“Well, it isn’t exactly in my nature.”

Anastacia scoffed and rolled her eyes, glancing down at the baseball captain below her. She casually aimed her laser blaster at him, and Marshal didn’t make any moves to get up. “That much is obvious.”

Before she could fire the laser that she was sure would be the finishing blow to Marshal, and eliminate him for good, there was suddenly a low rumbling noise, and the ground below the two began to shake. This was enough to take Anastacia’s mind off of eliminating the student. “What the-”

“Look out!” Suddenly Marshal stood up and pounced at her, knocking her out of the way just in time to save her from something big and made of stone charging into her. The only downside was the awkward position they had gotten into. Anastacia was on the ground, with Marshal hovering over her, arms at either side of her.

Marshal chuckled. “You really gotta work on your awareness.”

“Get off of me!” Anastacia pushed him off and the two of them were sitting on the street. Anastacia crossed her arms and looked away from him. Muttering to herself. “Baka…what the hell even was that?”

Anastacia and Marshal both stood up and looked in the direction that the giant stone structure had moved off to. They didn’t have to look far, though. It was only a few meters away from them. It was a statue of a man and a horse standing atop a stone pedestal, the man wearing knight's armor and wielding a sword.

They didn’t have long to take in the appearance of the newcomer, because soon the statue had begun to move towards them once again, the sound of stone grinding against pavement getting louder the closer they got. The two exchanged a glance at each other.

“Truce?”

“Oh yeah.”

“Move?”

“Definitely.”

The two moved out of the way just as the knight was about to make contact. They just barely avoided the stone sword of the giant chess piece, and now the students were separated by one violent statue.

“Let’s make this quick,” Anastacia said as she activated her lasers once again, and began firing them all into the stone structure. Of course, lasers against stone didn’t do much when it was just small blasts at a time. The statue barely registered the attack and merely focused on Marshal.

“I don’t think lasers are going to work,” Marshal said as he stepped out of the way of another sword swipe before slamming into the horse with his baseball bat. Dust and chunks of stone flew through the air as he knocked out a decent sized portion of the horse. “Maybe try something else?”

“What do you expect? This suit only has lasers!”

“Punch it or something, i don’t know.” Marshall pulled a baseball out of his backpack and was ready to send it off, when the Knight charged right towards him. It rammed him into the wall, but he wasn’t too winded by this. Instead, he simply pushed against the chess piece and was eventually able to push it away.

This allowed Anastacia to come in with, yes, an actual punch. The strength gifted to her by the Goku uniform allowed her to deliver an actually potent punch to the head of the horse. It’s snout was knocked off entirely, yet the knight showed no sign of pain. Of course not, it was a statue.

“How the hell are we going to get rid of this thing?”

“Simple, reduce it to rubble.” Marshall pushed the statue away once more, this time putting all of his might into it. Given some effort, he was able to push it far enough away to provide a little legroom. He smacked a baseball in the direction of Ana and leaped to it before it could actually hit her. He then hit it once more, towards the statue, and didn’t leap to it. He let it smash into the statue and it scattered into several more pieces. A good chunk of it was gone now.

“Gosh, you’re making me look real lame here.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. Did you want to fight this thing by yourself?”

“No, no, you can do it,” she said as she looked around the environment for anything useful. She saw a huge chunk of what once was the horse’s snout and quickly moved to it and tossed it towards Marshal. “Here.”

Marshal caught it out of instinct and glanced at it for a moment before grinning widely. “Oh, I like how you think,” he said with a chuckle before tossing it into the air, where it would become more spherical, while keeping its density. Sweet!

“Batter up!” Marshal hopped into the air and slammed his bat into the stone baseball. There was a loud boom as it broke the sound barrier, and charged towards the statue.

The knight tried it’s best to react, raising a sword in an attempt to block it. The baseball made contact with the sword, and broke right through it, shattering it into hundreds of little pieces. The baseball continued, and moved towards the knights face. It couldn’t move in time, and it, too, was demolished. There was a loud bang as both the baseball and knight statue practically exploded into dust, causing the two students to cough violently.

“Well, that worked pretty well.” Marshal chuckled and glanced back to Anastacia, only to lose that confident demeanor a moment afterwards. “Oh, come on.”

Anastacia turned around just in time to see two pawn statues moving towards them, slowly, but surely. Anastacia scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Great. And I thought one was annoying enough,” she muttered as she prepared her lasers for another fight.”

Before they could get to them, however, two arrows were planted into the statues, the arrows coming from behind the two students. What made these arrows special, though, was that they were absolutely covered in dynamite. They were explosive arrows.

Within a second, the two pawns exploded, adding to the pile of rubble that the knight had already started, and sending a few pieces of it towards Marshal and Ana, so they had to cover their eyes. Once the dust had subsided, they both looked to where the arrows had been fired.

On a rooftop that was just a few meters away from them, like some kind of sniper, was Kozo, crouching and wielding his bow. He looked to the two and smiled, waving at them. “Hello there!”

“Robin Hood?” Marshal asked with a chuckle.

Kozo shrugged. “Close enough.” He leaped from one rooftop to another, getting closer to the two but still standing above them. “Don’t think this means we’re pals, though. I just didn’t want the chess kid to have so many of those things running around.”

“Chess kid?” Ana asked.

“Yeah, the leader of the chess club? These belong to him. He’s got a lot of them crawling all over the city. I’ve been picking my fights carefully. I want them gone before I have to go and actually fight him.”

“Huh, smart.” Ana nodded.

“Speaking of fighting…” Kozo crouched down once more, looking between the two students. “Because I feel generous, I’ll give you two the chance to avoid a fight. Ten second head start. If you don’t get outta here, you’re getting blown up. Starting now.”

The two barely needed time to contemplate what he had just said. Superhuman speed would do that to you. Ana glanced to Marshal and grinned. “Our truce is over.” She then used her jump boost to get away from the two students, landing on a rooftop on the opposite side of the street and hurrying off.

“I’d hope so,” Marshal said before hitting a baseball off into the distance and leaping towards it. Kozo watched them run off, and he knew that he’d encounter one of them again, sooner rather than later.

Three's a Crowd[]

The smoke that came from the paper grenade, along with the dust and debris that was kicked up, had finally subsided. Sayaka stared at the limp body of Tsubasa and tilted her head to the side slightly. It took a few seconds, but after her examination her eyes widened and her heart sank down in her chest for a brief moment. He...he wasn’t dead, right?

“Oh no no no,” She muttered as she rushed over to the limp body of the younger boy. She crouched down next to him and looked him over, not exactly sure what to do. Check for a pulse, maybe? To make sure he was actually alive? “Please don’t be dead. It’d really ruin my day if you’re dead…”

She moved her hand down, towards his neck, in order to feel a pulse. Suddenly, the boy’s arm shot forward and grabbed her by the wrist. He sat up, Michael Myers style, and stared at her, his mask suddenly deformed into a grotesque, rotting face. Oh my god it’s a zombie!!

“AAIEEEEEEEEE!” Sayaka grabbed her book and slammed it down repeatedly onto Tsubasa’s face with a surprising amount of speed. “Zombie zombie zombie stopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopit!”

“Ow!” The younger boy cried out in pain before standing up, still grabbing onto Sayaka, and then flinging her towards a wall. Sayaka let out a wail as she went flying through the air, and then...through the wall of a nearby building. She landed in a pile of rubble in the interior of some poor citizen’s house, upside down and with swirlies covering her eyes.

“Oh….” She groaned, but quickly stood up, moving like a blur. By the time she got up from her attack, she noticed that Tsubasa was gone entirely. She blinked and looked around. “Oh man, now there’s a zombie on the loose,” she muttered as she rubbed the back of her head. What was she going to do now…?

Slowly, she stepped out of the house, looking at her surroundings in an attempt to find the horror fanatic, but she couldn’t find anything. It wasn’t like she looked away from him that long. Where the heck did he go?

From behind her she heard something that sounded like metal being ripped apart. Her eyes widened and she turned around just in time to see Tsubasa tear a road sign off of it’s post. He glanced at her, his face still malformed and grotesque, and threw the road sign at her like it was some sort of ninja star!

Sayaka yelped and ducked down at just the right time. The road sign flew over her head and embedded itself into the windshield of a random parked car. “H-Hey! You should be more careful! You could’ve killed me!”

“Isn’t that the point?”

“No it’s not the point!” She was now just irritated, and she let out another groan, but this time more annoyed than before. She grabbed one of her books and opened it up in front of the slasher fan. “Get him, Mr. Cow!”

“You got it, Sayaka!” Mr. Cow said in his Goofy-like voice as he hopped out of the children’s book. He made a superhero pose and then rushed towards Tsubasa with the speed of a charging bull!

Tsubasa took one look at the charging cow, ripped the street sign post out of the ground, and readied it like a baseball bat. “Well, let’s see how far a cow flies!”

Mr. Cow was a bit too overzealous, and he couldn't stop himself before he made it to Tsubasa. The horror fanatic slammed the sign post into the cow, and he went absolutely flying. Far past the buildings that surrounded the two students. Sayaka gasped and watched as he absolutely flew. For a moment, she stared off in the direction the cow was launched towards.

She chuckled, an anime sweatdrop going down her face as she turned back to Tsubasa, hand on the back of her head. She seemed embarrassed. “Well, okay, maybe that didn’t work.”

“Tell me about it,” he said as he dropped the sign post by his feet and readied his clawed gloves. “Now how about you fight me yourself? Take this bull by the horns?”

“Uh, I’m sorry are you hearing yourself right now? That sounds weird and kinda creepy and-”

“Can we just fight already?”

“Oh, yeah, right.” Sayaka moved her book forward like it was a shield, and then the two began to move towards each other, ready to engage in legitimate combat.

That was...until a laser blast appeared in front of each student, causing them to stop dead in their tracks to avoid being shot at. They glanced at each other for a moment, realized neither of them did that, and looked to where the blasts had come from.

Standing on the opposite side of the street was Anastacia. Once she had gotten their attention, she put a hand on her hip. “You know, a flying cow really attracts a lot of unwanted attention,” she said with a shake of her head. “Mind if I jump in?”

Sayaka frowned. “Well, see, since you’re asking, I think that-”

“Too bad.” She readied her laser gauntlets and fired at the book club leader. She yelped and jumped out of the way.

“Oh gosh this is bad,” she muttered as Tsubasa could only nod in agreement. One person was already too much to handle, but two at once!? Oh dear…

Tsubasa was the one to make the first move, however. He charged towards Anastacia, narrowly avoiding the lasers that were sent his way, getting close enough to deliver a punch towards the girl’s gut.

Anastacia just barely stepped out of the way of the attack, but she wasn’t so lucky when Sayaka came up from behind her and smacked her over the top of the head with a hard covered book. She winced, leaving her open to an attack from Tsubasa.

This time, the club leader’s punch hit her hard, hard enough to even knock her helmet off. She went flying back, landing on the ground and tumbling against the harsh pavement, sparks coming off her suit as the silver parts scraped against the ground. For a moment, she simply laid there, not choosing to get up.

“Heck yeah!” Sayaka pumped her fist into the air. “We did-”

Tsubasa suddenly grabbed her by the throat and raised her up in the air. Not by much, granted, considering the kid was kind of short, but it was enough to surprise her. He stared at her for a moment before slamming her into the ground below him. She let out a cry of pain.

“Normally I wouldn’t do this, but you know how it is,” He said in a mocking voice as he prepared to stomp down on her chest.

“That’s not how I sound!” She said in an irritated tone. Before Tsubasa could stomp down on her, Anastacia suddenly appeared, using her jump boost to both close the distance and put some power behind her upcoming punch.

Her fist made contact with Tsubasa’s face, and he ended up falling to the ground rather quickly. She didn’t stop there, though. She then aimed her laser gauntlets at Sayaka and fired a few blasts in her direction.

Thanks to her speed, the club leader was able to move out of the way, and able to maneuver around Anastacia. The sci-fi nut let out a frustrated groan as she used both her laser gauntlets in an attempt to hit Sayaka. She noticed Tsubasa getting up out of the corner of her eye and redirected one of her gauntlets to also shoot at him.

Trying to hit two targets at once does not help your accuracy. She knew she had to get to higher ground or else she was going to get overwhelmed. Her jump boost activated once again. A laser shot out of the pack on her back, and she took off into the air!

...or she was about to, if there wasn’t something pulling her down. She felt a sharp pain on her head and quickly associated it with the feeling of someone pulling on her hair. She let out a yelp as the yanking of her hair prevented her from getting to higher ground, and if anything caused her to plummet to the ground.

She landed on her rear, and turned her head for a bit to notice that, as she expected, Sayaka was the one that was yanking on her hair. She was about to punch her in the face when Sayaka yanked on her hair once again, causing another sharp wave of pain. “Ow! Let go of my hair!”

“No! I don’t wanna!” With a rather determined look on her face, she yanked on the sci-fi girl’s hair once again, causing Anastacia to growl aggressively.

“You little-” She reached over to Sayaka and grabbed at the girl’s hair before also yanking on it, causing the literature club leader to also yell out in pain.

“Owowowowow! No fair!”

“You started it!”

This game of hair-based tug of war would continue for a few seconds, before Tsubasa suddenly showed up next to the two of them, grabbed both of the girls by the back of their head, and slammed their heads together.

“Oooow…” Sayaka whined as she took several steps back, putting a hand to her head. “You might have given me a concussion!”

“You’ve gotta be kidding me!” Anastacia said through gritted teeth as she aimed her gauntlets at Tsubasa, backing away from him in the process. She opened fire, unleashing a flurry of lasers in his direction, but it did very little to deter the slasher fan this time. Instead, he was simply getting closer to her.

This isn’t working, she had thought to herself. She’d have to change her tactics if she actually wanted to get out of this skirmish with her uniform intact. There’s one more thing she could try.

She stopped the laser onslaught, and activated her laser lasso. With quick movements, she wrapped it around Tsubasa, restricting him for the moment, but she knew that he wouldn't be restrained for long, and she had to act before he just broke out of the rope himself.

With a flick of her wrist, she had managed to launch the muscular two star into the air, getting smaller in shape as he moved further away from them. She could hear Sayaka let out a faint “woah” as the student flew rather high up. Ana grinned and flicked her wrist once again.

Tsubasa was suddenly plummeting towards the ground. Well, not just towards the ground. Towards Sayaka herself. The book club girl, mesmerized by the feat of strength, was unable to react in time and instead let out a yelp as Tsubasa hit her full force. The two of them caused a rather decent sized hole to be put in the pavement. Both were stunned and generally out of commission, but Anastacia had to make sure.

“Time to finish this,” She muttered as she aimed both her laser gauntlets at the two. Then, she charged up as much as she could, before unleashing one giant, not so baby laser towards the two combatants.

As expected...well, they burnt up. Well, at least their clothes did. The uniforms were reduced to smolders and small piles of life fibers which piled up in the hole. With her opponents sufficiently eliminated, Anastacia turned away from the now nude students. She moved over towards her helmet, which was still on the ground, a fair bit away from the hole she had made, and picked it up.

“Two down,” she muttered as she put the helmet back over her head. She then began to walk away from the scene of the fight entirely. “A lot more to go…”

Something Festers...[]

As Anastacia moved throughout the city to find her next target, having a good idea of who she was going to have another go at next, there was something on the opposite side of the city that was simply...growing. A large mass of biological life that would grow across the entire city, a wave of fungus engulfing houses and stores and parked cars. Fungi was everywhere, and it was just how Moe liked it.

The girl walked through the street, hunched over herself, hands in her pockets and enjoying the scenery in front of her. It was marvelous, really. To see a whole city that was being overran by the fungus, something that she started finally seeing it's full potential. Sure, the place where her club met was absolutely infested with fungi, but to her that wasn't enough. It was too small of a containment area. She had long since wanted to see how her fungi would spread across the city, if given the opportunity to do so. Of course, it would cause quite a bit of damage to the surrounding cities. The acid that her fungus normally secretes would eat away at the walls of most of these buildings, but it's not like it mattered much to her. Surely they expected something dangerous to happen, what with letting them out to fight in the streets.

Just as she was about to scale one of the nearby buildings, she felt a rumbling in the ground, her fungus sending her multiple signals about something approaching. Well, multiple somethings, which were big and barreling towards her at incredible speeds. She shook her head and quickly rushed up the building. She stopped at one of the windowsills and waited for the opposing figures to come to her.

The girl watched as three seperate chess pieces, two pawns and a bishop, moved towards the land that her fungus had claimed as its own. She grinned, and watched them stop right on the border where the city ended and her fungus began. They were frozen for a moment, before they slid on the ground and crossed the threshold to her fungus infested lands. Within a second of them crossing that border, Moe snapped her fingers.

Suddenly, the fungus that was spread across the ground emitted a torrent of acid, which would be spread across the entire road, hitting the chess pieces, as well as some still exposed pieces of wall, windows and cars. The cars had the paint chipped off of them, but the real damage were done to the chest pieces, which were hit with the highest concentration of acid from the fungi. There was practically a sizzling sound as steam came off of them, the acid eating away at them slowly and causing them to practically disintegrate.

This seemed to put them in some kind of panic mode, as they hurried around in an attempt to hit whatever was attacking them, but the fungi was everywhere. They couldn't escape their fate, even though they tried to by bashing into the walls of nearby buildings to get to some place safe, but even if they managed to do so, the fungus would be inside the buildings as well, spraying the pieces with acid like they were some kind of fire sprinkler.

It took a few minutes, but eventually the chess pieces dissolved completely, being left as a puddle of slop on the ground in a nearby building. That wasn't going to be fun to clean up, but that wasn't exactly Moe's problem. She chuckled to herself before hopping off the building and landing on the ground. She walked down the street, ready to spread more fungus, and possibly destroy more of those chess pieces, if the opportunity presents itself.

The Final Confrontation[]

Anastacia hopped through the streets, using her jetpack to go from rooftop to rooftop. It wouldn't take long to recognize the target she was after. He hadn't moved exactly far from the last time she saw him, which was a surprise to her, but it made it all the more convenient for her. She zoomed forward, used her whip to swing the rest of the way like some spider person, and then landed right behind Marshal.

"Hello there," she said with a rather dull tone in her voice as she aimed her wrist laser at the back of the man's head.

Marshal turned around and smiled at the young woman, his bat resting on his shoulder. He nodded towards her. "Anastacia. You're a persistant one."

"Didn't think you could evade me this long and get away with it, did you?"

"Maybe," Marshal said with a grin as he pulled a baseball out of his bad. He tossed it up into the air and readied his bat to hit it. "Wanna try and prove me wrong."

Just as the baseball was about to fall into position, and as Marshal performed his swing, Anastacia quickly shot her laser at the baseball, causing it to explode into tiny little pieces. Marshal had continued his swing, and, not expecting the ball to disappeared, continued moving forward and was knocked off balance. Anastacia activated her thrusters and rammed directly into Marshal, sending him flying off the building and onto the streets below.

"I either do, or I don't. There is no try." Anastacia hopped down onto the streets and prepared herself for what she was going to make sure was her final fight with this man. She felt a fire inside of her. Something that was burning up a rather short fuse, and she was about to blow. "Now stand up and finish the fight!"

Marshal got up, a grin on his face as he seemed to be only mildly affected by the charge from Anastacia. He picked up a soda can off the ground and it morphed into a baseball. "Alright, no trying, just doing."

He tossed the ball into the air once again and this time, quickly smacked it with his baseball bat before it could be destroyed. It rocketed past Anastacia, and just before it passed her, he leaped towards the baseball. He was right next to Anastacia, and swung his bat at her. It hit her in the head, and she stumbled back, her helmet spinning around from the force. She put both her hands on the helmet to stop it, before lunging forward and punching towards Marshal's face. Marshal moved his baseball bat in front of the punch to block it, but this was met with a faint snapping sound coming from the baseball bat, which caused Marshal to wince. Okay, he couldn't do that. Good to know. The sound of the bat snapping, and his reaction to the event, had left him open to a laser shot to his gut.

He stumbled away from the sci-fi nut, and she took this to her advantage and used her whip to wrap it around his baseball bat, before yanking it out of his hands and sending it rolling across the ground. Now without a weapon, Marshal was practically helpless and couldn't stop any of her attacks.

"Now we finish this," she said with a grin as she advanced upon the baseball player. She punched him directly in the face, causing him to stumble back, before pelting him with lasers across his chest. He cried out from the pain, but didn't have the time to adjust, and she grabbed him by the arm and slammed him into the ground. The young man groaned and find himself struggling to get up, and only saw Anastacia standing above him with both her wrist lasers pointed at him, ready to fire.

"Seems like I won."

To her surprise, Marshal only chuckled, staring up at her with that stupid grin on his face. "Don't get cocky," he said simply as he moved his hand over. Anastacia realized what he was doing just a little too late. His grasped his bat and slammed it upwards, hitting her in the side of her head. She stumbled to her right, away from Marshal, and tried to get the stupid ringing out of her ears.

"I got one more trick up my sleeve!" Marshal said as he picked up the baseball bat that was once an aluminum can. He tossed it into the air and leaped up to meet it as it suspended in the air. "Get ready for the All American!"

A wall of energy in the shape of a baseball diamond formed around them as Marshal smacked the bat with all of his might. The energy he had saved for the rest of the day was being directed into one, final swing. He slammed the bat into the baseball, and it rocketed towards the girl at many times over the speed of sound. She was just barely able to move out of the way, and as the baseball bat slammed into the ground, there was an immediate explosion.

Massive fireballs of red, white and blue filled the arena that Marshal had created around them. The explosion sent several star-like objects flying around the arena as well, hitting the side of the barrier and bouncing off like ping pong balls. Marshall hopped from star to star as the explosion played out. To his surprise, she was still standing. Though, likely not for long.

"Batter up!" His bat seemingly glowed with pure energy as he moved like a blur from star to star, hitting them towards the center of the ring where Anastacia stood. Every time a star made contact with her, it would result in an explosion, which would make a tricolor of red, white and blue. A truly patriotic final attack that Marshal was sure would end the fight. He had gotten through half of the stars when he decided he was going to deliver his finishing blow. He picked up one of the stars, which burned white hot in his hand, but it had little effect on him, and hopped next to Anastacia once more. He prepared his final pitch. "This one's gonna sting!'

He chucked the ball right at her, and it hit her square in the chest. A giant explosion, once again with the colorful dust clouds being kicked up all around the two of them, and Anastacia went flying to the walls of the barrier, slamming into them with enough force to actually break them, but only because Marshal had actually allowed the barriers to be broken completely. This caused the remaining stars to ricochet out into town, to cause a little more havoc. The barrier now gone, Anastacia continued hurdling away from Marshal, until she slammed into a small house with enough force to have it topple over her. Hundreds of poudns of wood, glass, stone, and tiling would pile on top of her, completely burying her. Marshal chuckled to himself, knowing that she would survive, but she wouldn't get out any time soon.

"Strike three, you're out," he said with a grin as he turned around to find a place to rest for the time being, as he used all his energy delivering that final blow.

Just as he was about to walk away, he heard something move behind him. He turned around just in time to see the pile of debris explode into millions of splinters and pebbles, and he had to put a hand over his eyes just to make sure he didn't lose one from all the flying debris. Anastacia had bust out of the pile of rubble and charged right at him, her thrusters at maximum power, almost overloading them as she ran forward with a battle cry fueled by her frustration and anger. She slammed directly into Marshal, and he was sent flying. he wasn't airborne for long, however, as Anastacia sent her whip towards him and wrapped it around his body. It burnt with a heat it hadn't reached ever before, being fueled by her anger and her urge to finish this.

"I'm not done with you yet!" She cried out as she slammed the baseball captain into the ground, causing him to drop his bat from the pain. She lifted him up once more and slammed him into the wall of the nearby building. Again, and again, and again, she slammed him into walls, pavement, and nearby vehicles, completely destroying the environment around her and burning Marshal up in the process. Eventually, she flicked her wrist and slammed him down right in front of her.

He might have been suffering from whiplash, since he couldn't even react to her standing over him, aiming her laser wrists at him again and putting them on overcharge. She was breathing heavily, and felt like she was about to collapse, but she had to finish this. "Consider yourself..."

She fired her lasers at him, directing all of her power into this final shot, which burned away Marshal's clothes and left him unconscious on the pavement. Staring at him for a moment, she picked him up and not-so-gently tossed him on the nearby sidewalk to get him out of the street, and potentially harms way.

"You know, no matter how much we fought, and how much you pissed me off, I hate to see you go." She closed her eyes and stood there for a moment, trying to collect herself.

Then she heard a slow clap come from behind her. Before she could turn around and see who it was, she felt something snag onto the back of her helmet and yanked it off. She turned around to see Moe, who was slowly approaching her with a large patch of fungus growing where she stood.

"Shit..."

"My my, that was quite the match. I see you put your all in it, but you seem to have forgot there's always a bigger fish, and used up all your energy." She stepped forward calmly, and Anastacia could just barely bring her hand up to aim her wrist laser at the girl. "I'm sure that after a fight like that you'd like to go somewhere safe and rest. Well..."

Anastacia fired her laser, and Moe moved out of the way easily before gesturing with her hand. A fungus suddenly shot forward, like it was some odd appendage, and slammed into Anastacia's face. "I'm sorry Ana, I'm afraid I can't let you do that."

The fungus stuck on Ana's face suddenly released a cloud of spores, which would circle around her head, and she was forced to breath them in. She gagged, letting out pained choking sounds as she put her hands to her throat, trying her hardest to not breath it in, but it quickly grew too difficult to do so. As the fungus retracted from her person, she moved a hand out to Moe, perhaps to shoot her or get help from her, but it ended with her falling to the ground, twitching lightly.

Moe tilted her head for a moment, but ultimately smiled as Anastacia, like a zombie rising from the dead, slowly stood up and stared at her with a blank stare in her eyes. "Ah, so the spore does work. I thought it killed you, I'll be honest."

"What the fuck," she heard someone mutter off in the distance, and turned to the noise to see that Kozo was standing on one of the nearby rooftops. How long had he been there for? Moe smiled a little more.

"Oh, hello." She gestured to the puppet that Anastacia had become. "Do you like what you see? In my opinion it really is a magnificent thing that fungai are capable of."

"This is all kinds of messed up," he muttered as he reached for an arrow from his quiver. "I think it's time you get out of the game."

"It's really a shame you think that way," she said before glancing to Anastacia. She pointed to Kozo. "Ana? Go ahead and take him out."

"Roger roger," Ana muttered under her breath and aimed at the archery club president, her wrist mounted laser already glowing and ready to fire.
