Introduction[]
The UBCS have been deployed into an urban area for an anti-B.O.W. operation. Meanwhile in the same area, a squad of MTF operatives have been dispatched to a nearby site that was reported to have been attacked. The two factions meet each other and immediately register each other as hostiles. WHO IS DEADLIEST?
Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service[]
The Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) was a private military force owned by the Umbrella Corporation, specializing in rescue operations during biohazard outbreaks. It was founded by former Soviet Colonel Sergei Vladimir. The U.B.C.S. primarily recruited former soldiers and militiamen who had been incarcerated and, thus, could be offered a new life. At its largest in 1998, this force consisted of at least four platoons, designed Alpha through Delta, making for a compliment of as many as 120 mercenaries. It suffered near total destruction during the operation in Raccoon City.
Weapons[]
Weapon | Description |
---|---|
M4 Carbine | The standard-issue rifle of the UBCS during the Raccoon City Destruction Incident.
It uses 5.56 NATO rounds and has a magazine size of 30 bullets. The Assault Rifle is a fully automatic weapon with good stopping power and rate of fire. This weapon is able to switch between full auto and manual mode, which allows the user to fire the weapon in a burst of three rounds if the weapon is set on MANUAL. The Assault Rifle is aimed from the hip in AUTO mode but is aimed from the shoulder in MANUAL mode. The color of the sight's lens during gameplay tells the weapon's firing mode, green for MANUAL and red for AUTO. |
Submachine Gun | Fully automatic weapon chambered in 9x19mm. The weapon has a capacity of 30 rounds and has moderate firepower.
As long as the user can handle its drawbacks and rarity, the Submachine Gun is an effective all-around weapon for any kind of enemy. It can replace Handguns when obtained for the most part, due to it using the same type of ammunition. The Submachine Gun inflicts high damage at close range but decreases at longer ranges. |
Merc's Handgun | Chambered in 9×19 mm with the capacity of 15 rounds. |
Mobile Task Force[]
When standard protocol fails and multiple breaches are imminent, Foundation facilities call for the deployment of the Nine-Tailed Fox. The whirring of helicopter blades heralds their arrival. Equipped with top-of-the-line Foundation equipment, their primary objective is to re-secure the facility against any, and all, threats. MTF are tasked with re-containing/terminating escaped SCPs, while extracting any remaining Scientist to the Surface Zone.

MTF-E11-SR | The MTF-E11-SR is a type of Firearm in SCP: Secret Laboratory. It is a designated Facility Recovery-Standard Rifle (FR-SR) used by Epsilon-11. The firearm is a highly customizable assault rifle, making it effective in any combat situation. Its cartridge type is 5.56x45mm rounds and has an ammo capacity of 40 (+1) rounds. The standard-issue rifle for Nine-Tailed Fox superiors. Lightweight, soft-shooting, and highly modular; this firearm was tailor-made for the needs of the forces that wield it.
While the comfort factor of the rifle is highly valued, the equipment itself is nothing of particular note. The weapon is manufactured in close proximity to Area-14. Accounts of the weapon being “blessed” are to be disregarded. Operatives naming their gun is strongly discouraged. The MTF-E11-SR is a fully automatic assault rifle, which makes it very accurate for the first few shots, but becomes inaccurate during a continuous fire; this makes the weapon best used in short bursts, instead of long sprays. The weapon also has very poor movement accuracy, making it best used when standing still, or using lighter attachment configurations. The laser attachment can partially negate this weakness. The high penetration of the weapon makes it very effective against armored targets. The MTF-E11-SR is a closed bolt firearm, allowing it to hold one extra bullet than its max mag size by storing it in the chamber meaning that it's possible for the rifle to have one bullet in it despite having no magazine, which it can still fire. Due to being a closed bolt firearm, the MTF-E11-SR bolt will be locked into an open position once it runs out of ammo, which causes reloading to be slightly longer. The bolt will only lock to an open position if the MTF-E11-SR currently has a magazine in it. If the magazine was removed from the MTF-E11-SR, but the bullet in the chamber was not, firing this bullet will not cause the bolt to lock to an open position. Though, reloading in this state will still cause reloading to be longer than normal as the user now has to rechamber the MTF-E11-SR. |
Crossvec | The Crossvec is a type of submachine gun. It acts as an easy-to-use SMG, with great accuracy due to its low weight. Its cartridge type is 9x19mm rounds and has an ammo capacity of 40 rounds. The Crossvec is a fairly light weapon, making it great at unleashing continuous fire over short/medium distances even while moving. The weapon's high rate of fire makes it very effective against SCPs or groups of humans, as it possesses a high DPS (Damage per Second) ratio. Due to being a closed bolt firearm, the Crossvec bolt will be locked into an open position once it runs out of ammo, which causes reloading to be slightly longer. This mechanic can prove problematic because of the weapon's fast fire rate. The bolt will only lock to an open position if the Crossvec currently has a magazine in it. If the magazine was removed from the Crossvec but the bullet in the chamber was not, firing this bullet will not cause the bolt to lock to an open position. Though, reloading in this state will still cause reloading to be longer than normal as the user now has to rechamber the Crossvec. |
COM-18 | The COM-18 is a type of pistol. It is a semi-automatic pistol, quick to draw and powerful to use. It has a cartridge type of 9x19mm rounds and has an ammo capacity of 15 (+1).
The COM-18 is a highly effective sidearm, best used against singular targets. The weapon's lightweight and small size allows for it to be quickly drawn in emergencies, while its penetration (55%) makes it a formidable weapon against even Armored opponents. The COM-18's reloading time becomes slightly longer when reloading a COM-18 that contains an empty magazine. |
X-Factors[]
- Members of the UBCS were recruited from former soldiers and militiamen who had been incarcerated ranging from retired Soviet Army officers to terrorists prisoners on death row. This means their training may not be on par with the MTF.
- Most of the MTF's weapons are closed bolt. If their weapons completely run out of ammo, they take a longer amount of time to reload and even need to rechamber their weapons if necessary. To overcome this, they can utilize tactical reloads (reloading while there is a round chambered and leftover rounds in the previous magazine).
- UBCS soldiers don't wear helmets unlike the MTF who wear FAST helmets. Thought that might be good to know.
Voting (Ended)[]
Voting ends on the 16th of April. (Subject to change)
Vote must include an elaboration, simple or thorough, in order to count.
Battle may end early if it gets too one sided. (One warrior gets 3 votes while the other still has 0)
Battle[]
6 UBCS Soldiers arrive on foot to a seemingly abandoned town. They have been sent there to perform an anti-B.O.W. operation. Not far from there, a helicopter drops off a squad of 6 Mobile Task Force operators. They have been deployed to counteract a raid performed by a hostile Group of Interest on a nearby site. The two groups then meet at an intersection.
One of the Mobile Task Force operators, believing the UBCS soldiers to be the aforementioned hostiles, fires his Crossvec at one of them. The burst of bullets hit a UBCS soldier in the chest and as he falls to the ground, everyone scatters whilst exchanging fire. As the UBCS soldier lies injured on the ground, another MTF operative passing by finishes him off with his COM-18.
A UBCS soldier takes cover behind a dumpster with his M4 Carbine ready. He has it set to AUTO mode because he wants to quickly finish off his enemy. An unsuspecting MTF operator then approaches the area. This prompts the UBCS soldier to jump out of his hiding spot and ambush the operator. The hail of fully automatic gunfire in close quarters instantly kills the operator.
In another part of town, two UBCS soldiers are firing their Submachine Guns at an MTF operator taking cover behind some debris. But due to both of them firing at the same time, they eventually need to reload at the same time too. This gives the MTF operator an opportunity to take them out one-by-one with his MTF-E11-SR.
Meanwhile, the MTF operator that started the fight finds himself alone in an alleyway. He encounters a UBCS soldier and fires at him with his Crossvec. The UBCS soldier nearly dodges the bullets by diving behind a corner. The fast fire rate of the weapon causes it to run out of ammunition quickly and the closed bolt locks open. While he is trying to reload his gun, the UBCS soldier shoots him dead with his Submachine Gun and runs to join the rest of his squad.
Now, all that is left of the UBCS squad, The UBCS Squad Leader and his last two men, plan to escape this town and exfiltrate immediately. Just as they're about to make their move, the remainders of the MTF squad ambush them. A UBCS soldier is gunned down while the rest start running. A stray shot hits a building causing some small pieces of debris to fall on the MTF operators but because they're wearing helmets, they are unfazed. The same couldn't be said for the last UBCS soldier who is shot in the head with a 5.56 round. This leaves the UBCS squad leader as the last survivor. He is injured and takes cover behind a ruined building.
The UBCS squad leader knows he has to make his last stand so he takes out his Merc's Handgun and aims it at the corner. An MTF operator runs around and is shot in his face. Then the MTF Captain appears too but his shot in the torso where he is protected by kevlar. He then guns down the UBCS squad leader with his MTF-E11-SR.
UBCS: X
The Mobile Task Force Captain then uses his radio to contact command to inform them that they may need backup if they're going to raid the site.
Expert's Opinion[]
Epsilon-11 won because they had better equipment and were furthermore better trained compared to the UBCS.
