The Justice League has triumphed over many threats, but do they stand a chance against an army from a different universe? In tonight's episode of Deadliest Fiction, it's time to see if this's Earth's mightiest heroes can stand against the threat of Thanos, or will he do to this universe what he did to his own? There's only one to find out, as we compare the weapons, warriors, and tactics to determine...
WHO...IS...DEADLIEST?!?
Thanos's Army[]
“ | I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. It's frightening, turns the legs to jelly. I ask you to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now it's here. Or should I say, I am.
— Thanos

” |
Thanos was born on the planet Titan, a bustling utopia populated by a species who shared the planet's namesake. When it became clear that Titan was running low on resources, Thanos, an outcast within society, suggested a culling, in which half of the planet would be exterminated to lower the need of consumption. His people scoffed at his idea, and Thanos could nothing but watch as they were driven to extinction and Titan fell to ruin. Driven mad by the loss, Thanos set out throughout the universe, building an army, conquering planets, then wiping out half of their population. Occasionally, he would adopt a child from these worlds, and train them to become one of the deadliest people in the galaxy.
Eventually, Thanos would come to believe that the universe's resources are dwindling and set out to find the Infinity Stones, legendary objects that could make the figure godlike in power if they were to be assembled together. Thanos slaughtered the Dwarves of Nidavellir, leaving the sole survivor to build him a gauntlet that could hold the crystals, then recruited Loki of Asgard and Ronan the Accuser to help him find the remaining stones. When they both failed, an annoyed Thanos set out to do it himself.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Infinity Gauntlet: An item built specifically to harness the power of the Infinity Stones, Thanos had it made specifically for himself, alongside having a mechanism made that enabled Thanos to combine the power of specific stones, such as when he used the Space and Reality stone to absorb fire from Iron Man's attacks. In order to use the Stones, Thanos must clench his fist. For the purpose of this story, Thanos will be wielding the Space and Power stones, and the other stones will not work for a reason that will be explained.
- Space Stone: The stone that governs over space, the Space Stone gives Thanos powerful teleportation and telekinesis abilities. With it, he can open a portal to anywhere in the universe in a matter of seconds, create miniature black holes that suck people near them, and stop the Guardians dead in their tracks before they fell to the ground.
- Power Stone: Representative of the destructive nature of the universe, the Power Stone grants the wielder immense destructive power, to the point where wielding it enabled Ronan the Accuser to survive a direct hit from a Hadron Enforcer, followed by being hit with the Milano and his own ship immediately crashing. It also enables the wielder to fire beams of destructive energy at targets, with Thanos using it to destroy the Asgardian refugee ship after boarding it and slaughtering it's crew. The stone is so powerful that mere contact with it painfully kills the holder unless they can store it in something, with Thanos using this potential to torture Thor by pushing the stone against his forehead.
- War Armor: Thanos wore a set of bright gold armor for battle, though he shed all but the chest piece after obtaining the Power Stone.
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Strength: Thanos is one of the strongest beings in the universe, capable of effortlessly wielding the Infinity Gauntlet with all six of the Infinity Stones when merely attempting to remove it required the combined strength of Spider-Man and Iron Man. With his strength, he has casually crushed the Tesseract, smashed through Doctor Strange's magic shields, and defeated the Hulk in single combat almost effortlessly. Even Steve Rogers, a man enhanced to beyond peak human strength, was only able to stop a punch from Thanos from two hands, and was subsequently knocked aside with Thanos's other hand.
- Superhuman Durability: Thanos is incredibly durable, with an all-out assault of explosives, physical attacks, energy blasts, and knives merely scratching him. He was able to easily withstand blows from the Hulk, and it took a specially crafted Asgardian weapon to severely wound him.
- Superhuman Reflexes/Speed: Despite his size, Thanos is deceivingly quick, to the point where famously quick opponents like Loki, Gamora, and Spider-Man were unable to get the drop on him.
- Energy Manipulation: Wielding the Power Stone gives Thanos an immense control over energy, enabling him to use it for a variety of abilities.
- Strength Enhancement: Thanos used the stone to boost his strength during the battles on Titan and Wakanda, enabling him to break through Doctor Strange's shield, shatter Tony Stark's adaptive nanite armor, and tear through teenage Groot's vines.
- Energy Blasts: Thanos can fire destructive bursts of energy at targets, which were so powerful that they nearly knocked Iron Man over, even when he used a shield. He can also create more explosive bursts that can spread like napalm, quickly destroying the Asgardians ship in a matter of seconds.
- Force-Field Generation: Thanos can create force fields to block projectile attacks, and these fields enabled him to shrug off Iron Man's repulsor blasts, War Machine's rockets, and blocking a full blast of power from the Scarlet Witch.
- Space Manipulation: Wielding the Space Stone gives Thanos unrivaled control over space.
- Telekinesis: Thanos uses telekinesis to deflect projectiles and manipulate targets, best showcased when he used it to disable the Secret Avengers upon his arrival in Wakanda, from throwing Black Panther aside, to burying Black Widow under rubble, to crushing the War Machine suit and tossing it aside. He also used it as a torture tool, pulling apart Nebula's cybernetics to force Gamora's cooperation.
- Portals: Thanos can open portals that enable him to reach any destination instantly, to the point where he went from Titan to Wakanda in a matter of seconds. He can also bring other things through this portal, as he sent pieces of Titan's crushed moon through a portal to hurl at the Cosmic Avengers. He can also turn these portals into vortexes, sucking random debris and then firing them at his opponents, like he did during his duel with Doctor Strange.
- Master Tactician: Thanos is a brilliant thinker and planning, winning numerous battles during his quest and quietly orchestrating the attacks on Earth and Xandar without lifting a finger. His planning was so in-depth that the various heroes of Earth weren't aware of he was until after he had begun his attack, leaving them scattered and disorganized on the eve of his invasion. His leadership is so great that the Chitauri and Outriders, armies renowned for their savagery, bowed to him without hesitating.
- Master H2H Combatant: Thanos is an exceptional fighter, to the point where he was capable of defeating the Hulk so badly that he needed to retreat shortly after bringing a fully powered Thor to his knees.
“ | Hear me and rejoice! You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Titan. You may think this is suffering. No... it is salvation. The universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile... for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
— Ebony Maw
|
” |
One of Thanos's children and his apparent right-hand man, Maw is the least physical member of the Black Order but he makes up for it with his usage of telekinesis. Following the defeat of the Asgardians, Thanos dispatched Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian to Earth to capture the Time Stone, but were separated after a pitched battle with stonekeeper Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Wong, and Spider-Man. Maw managed to kidnap Strange onto his ship, but Iron Man and Spider-Man snuck aboard. Distracted by his torture of Strange, Maw was ambushed by the duo, who managed to blow a hole in the ship and send Maw hurtling into the vacuum of space, freezing him solid and killing him.
Powers and Abilities:
- Telekinesis: Maw was capable of moving and manipulating things to his whim, showcasing such mastery that he assumed Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth, was a mere children's entertainer. He was capable of picking up and hurling debris at targets, creating restraints out of the ground to hold down Thor and out of a building to tie up Doctor Strange, and manipulating the environment to make it more difficult for the heroes to maneuver around him.
- Levitation: Maw could use his telekinesis to float, using it to keep up with Strange during their battle. At one point, he was capable of effortlessly floating upside-down.
“ | We... have blood to spare.
— Proxima Midnight
|
” |
Seemingly Thanos's top enforcer during the invasion of Earth, Proxima, alongside Corvus Glaive, was sent to Earth to kill Vision and acquire the Mind Stone. During the fight in Scotland, Proxima engaged Wanda Maximoff, who barely escaped by throwing her into a fuel truck. Proxima and Corvus cornered her and Vision in a train station, only to be ambushed by the Secret Avengers, with Steve Rogers disarming Proxima in the ensuing struggle. After Corvus was wounded, Proxima grabbed him and retreated.
During the Battle of Wakanda, Proxima acted as the army's primary leader, signalling the advance of the Outriders and personally targeting the Scarlet Witch. Black Widow and Okoye came to Wanda's aid, and the trio teamed up to bring down Proxima, eventually hurling her into one of Thanos's war machines, grinding her into bits.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Spear: Proxima's primary weapon was a three-pronged spear that could be thrown at blinding speeds or used to impale/slash/parry attacks. It could also discharge powerful bursts of electric energy that could knock foes to the ground, and could be controlled telekinetically, as Proxima returned it to her hand after the fight in Scotland.
- Midnight Sword: During the battle of Wakanda, Proxima's weapon was a retractable sword.
- Gauntlet Blade: As a final back-up, Proxima contained a small blade in her gauntlet that she could retract at any moment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Superhuman Speed: Much like Corvus, Proxima was shown to be fairly quick in a fight, capable of easily keeping up with both Black Widow and Okoye in direct combat, and frequently forcing Wanda back during their fight in Scotland.
- Superhuman Strength: Proxima towered over regular humans and was capable of knocking them around with little effort. During the battle of Wakanda, she kept both Black Widow and Okoye at bay with only her sword shortly after tossing Wanda into a ditch with one hand.
- Superhuman Durability: Proxima was incredibly durable, to the point where being tossed headfirst into a truck that then exploded barely slowed her down long enough for Wanda to escape.
- Expert Tactician: Proxima is a remarkable leader in combat, with her plan during the Wakanda battle nearly succeeding in killing the Vision and the Avengers, with only the surprise arrival of Rocket, Groot, and Thor turning the tide against her.
- Master Combatant: Proxima is an incredibly deadly fighter, easily triumphing in any one-on-one fights she engaged in, to the point where she was able to fight Wanda, Natasha, and Okoye in combat and nearly kill them if not for Wanda hurling her into a war machine.
“ | I thought you were a formidable machine. But you'll die, like any man.
— Corvus Glaive
|
” |
A close partner of Proxima Midnight, Corvus was dispatched to Earth to accompany her in killing the Vision and taking the Mind Stone off of him. Tracking him and his lover Wanda Maximoff to Scotland, Corvus attacked Vision while Proxima fought Wanda, critically wounding him with his spear. Cornering the two at a train station, Corvus and Proxima were driven back by the intervention of the Secret Avengers, who defeated them and badly injured Corvus.
During the battle of Wakanda, Corvus, who the Avengers believed was dead, snuck into Wakanda, easily slaughtering the warriors protecting Vision and knocking aside Shuri, who was trying to remove the Mind Stone from Vision's head. Vision engaged Corvus, with their fight spiraling to the jungle surrounding the city. Weakened, Vision was rescued by Steve Rogers, who engaged Corvus and was overpowered, only for Vision to impale him on his own spear.
Weapons:
- Glaive: The weapon from which he presumably gained his name, Corvus's glaive appears to have extraterrestrial abilities to it, as it was able to disable Vision and prevent him from phasing after he was stabbed in Scotland. It was also capable of blocking Vision's energy blasts and deflecting the bursts from Shuri's gauntlets, and was strong enough to pierce Vision's vibranium-infused body.
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Strength: Corvus is surprisingly strong for someone of his stature, capable of lifting Vision into the air and throwing him aside after impaling him and overpowering Steve Rogers in close-combat.
- Superhuman Speed: Corvus was shown to be unnaturally quick, easily outmoving Wanda and the Vision in Scotland and taking the combined efforts of Rogers, Black Widow, and the Falcon to pin down.
- Superhuman Durability: Corvus is surprisingly resilient, to the point where a direct stab wound through the stomach merely slowed him down and a several story fall into the jungle didn't even stagger him.
- Expert Combatant: Corvus is an excellent fighter, to the point where he defeated Steve Rogers, one of the greatest fighters in the MCU, in close-combat, with Steve defeating him only because of a surprise assist from Vision.
The largest and strongest of Thanos's children, Cull Obsidian was the largely silent muscle of the group, who accompanied Ebony Maw to New York City to try and obtain the Time Gem from Doctor Strange. In the ensuing battle, Cull was drawn away from the main fight into a battle with Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Wong, who used his magic to strand Cull in a snowy area on Earth, cutting off his hand when he tried to jump back through the portal.
During the Battle of Wakanda, Cull took particular interest in attacking Bruce Banner in the Hulkbuster suit, tearing off the suit's left arm. Reckless, Cull trapped his arm in the suit's gauntlet, enabling Bruce to send him flying into the sky, where he impacted the forcefield surrounding Wakanda and exploded.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Hammer: Cull's primary weapon was a multi-tool that best resembled a hammer. It could detach the head and be used as a flail, alongside the head turning into a claw to grab targets. As a final defense, it could be turned into a shield capable of deflecting Iron Man's repulsor blasts.
- Cybernetic Arm: Following the loss of his arm, Cull replaced it with a cybernetic arm that could turn into a blade should he lose his hammer. The blade was immensely sharp, capable of tearing through the Hulkbuster armor with minimal effort.
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Strength: Cull was immensely strong, capable of going toe-to-toe with the Hulkbuster armor and tossing around Iron Man and Spider-Man with little difficulty.
- Superhuman Durability: Cull was probably the most durable member of Thanos's children, to the point where he sustained Black Panther's energy blasts, blows from the Hulkbuster, and being stranded in arctic climates with no signs of damage.
- Expert Combatant: Even outside of his strength, Cull was an expert fighter, using his skills to easily overpower Bruce Banner during their fight, with none of the other warriors even capable of slowing him down.
Presumably recruited to replace the Chiutari and the Sakaarans, the Outriders are a completely feral race of doglike aliens used primarily as cannon fodder during the Battle of Wakanda. As opposed to the other races, the Outriders lack tactics or real sophistication in combat, acting as a massive horde, though they do show enough intelligence to pilot ships and retreat once the Black Order are killed.
In terms of weaponry, the Outriders have only their sharp fangs and claws, but they're much stronger than their sister species, to the point where a pack of them were capable of bringing down the Hulkbuster, while people like Black Panther, Steve Rogers, and Bucky Barnes struggled to bring down more than a couple at a time.Justice League[]
Team Arrow[]
“ | Six months ago The Arrow died, but what he stood for didn't. It lived on in the heroes that took up his mantle: people who believe that this city should never descend in to hopelessness, who believe although life is full of darkness, that darkness can be defeated by light, and tonight I am declaring my intention to stand with them, to fight for this city, to be the symbol of hope that The Arrow never was. I am.. the Green Arrow.
— Green Arrow
|
” |
A selfish billionaire playboy, Oliver Queen lived an entirely careless life until one fateful day when his father's ship sank, killing him and (seemingly) his girlfriend's sister Sara. Shipwrecked with nothing but the clothes on his back and a mysterious book of names given to him by his father, Oliver ended up the island of Lian Yu, where he met Yao Fei, a Chinese general banished to the island, who took Oliver in and protected him from mercenaries working for Edward Fyers. Forced to work for Fyers, Yao sent Oliver to Slade Wilson, an ASIS agent sent to investigate Fyers. Trained by Slade and Yao Fei's daughter Shado, Oliver quickly became a skilled fighter and archer. The trio tried to rescue Yao, who Fyers was using as a scapegoat for an attempt to cripple the Chinese economy, but he was killed before they could do so. After shutting down Fyers plan, Oliver would go on further adventures and do battle with various other foes before being rescued and returned to Starling City.
After being rescued, Oliver used his skills to become the Hood, a vigilante focused on targeting those responsible for ruining his city. Despite his efforts to go it alone, Oliver found himself forming a close-knit group in the form of Team Arrow and befriend other heroes like the Flash and the Atom, alongside stop killing, enabling him to become a symbol of hope to the people of Star City.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Customized Compound Bow: Oliver's weapon of choice, he's an incredibly skilled shot with it. He can also use it as a melee weapon. (Just suspend your disbelief, Leo.)
- Trick Arrows: Ready for any situation, Oliver has a wide variety of trick arrows. For a list of these arrows, go here.
- Flechette: Oliver also carries flechettes, smaller weapons similar to arrows, for various purposes. He primarily uses tranquilizers, which knock a target out for a decent amount of time, and smoke, which creates a distraction.
- Green Arrow Suit: A superhero is nothing without his outfit. Oliver's suit is equipped with advanced kevlar, protecting him from certain attacks.
Abilities:
- Peak Condition: As a vigilante and grizzled survivor, Oliver is at peak physical condition. He's capable of going to toe-to-toe with Ra's Al Ghul, catching an arrow in mid-air, and take down the larger John Diggle with relative ease. His senses are also enhanced, as he was able to anticipate attacks by the Flash.
- Master Archer/Marksman: Well, no duh. Oliver is an incredible shot with any ranged weapon he can get his hands on, and can land just about any shot with deadly accuracy, no matter where he is or what he's doing. He is, obviously, most skilled with a bow.
- Skilled Hand-to-Hand combatant: Oliver is, without a doubt, one of the most skilled hand-to-hand fighters in the DCTVU, and his fighting style is a mix of over a half-dozen martial arts, including Karate, Eskrima, and Judo.
- High Intelligence/Skilled Tactician: Oliver has shown himself to be a genius when it comes to detective work and planning, capable of launching devastating assaults on his foes and lead his team through numerous fights.
- Master Acrobat: Oliver can easily run from rooftop-to-rooftop and regularly uses this skill to get the drop on unprepared targets.
- Stealth Master: Oliver's training as an assassin enables him to pull of such feats as disappearing in broad daylight, sneak in and out of heavily guarded building's unprotected, and tail unsuspecting targets for hours.
- High-Tolerance for Pain: Once he commits himself to a goal, no amount of pain can stop Oliver from completing that goal.
“ | I'm a soldier, Dinah. Soldiers push through.
— John Diggle
|
” |
John Diggle was born in Starling City, and most of his life was focused on a tense relationship with his brother Andy. To set a better example for his brother, John joined the army, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant. Andy joined at John's urging, but quickly fell into bad crowds, becoming involved with an opium ring. After John was honorably discharged, Andy was killed by the assassin Deadshot, giving John a long-standing rivalry with the sniper. After returning from abroad, John began working as a bodyguard and private contractor, where he was hired to protect Oliver Queen.
Upon discovering that Queen was the vigilante The Hood, Diggle became his reluctant confidant and ally in the field, even suiting up as the Hood on occasion. Following Oliver's brief retirement, Diggle even gained a new suit and identity in the form of Spartan, stepping up as the leader of Team Arrow, and a crucial strategist when Oliver needs a second opinion.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Spartan Suit: Designed by Cisco Ramon, the Spartan Suit is an updated military armor using a mixture of leather and kevlar. It also has a side mechanism that enables John to load and draw a sidearm at a much faster rate.
- Spartan Helmet: A cool helmet designed for head protection.
- Firearms: Diggle is an expert in the usage of a variety of guns, but his favorite is usually a custom handgun resembling a Glock 19 that can shoot either bullets or stun rounds in more non-lethal scenarios.
Skills:
- Peak Physical Condition: Years of nonstop training and combat have pushed Diggle to heights of fitness, enabling him to hold his own against the likes of Oliver Queen and Deathstroke.
- Skilled Tactician: Diggle is an expert planner, often elevating Oliver's plans to fill any gaps he sees. Under John's leadership, Team Arrow has been able to avert threats like the rise of Danny Brickwell and the early attacks of HIVE.
- Expert Marksman: John is a skilled wielder of firearms, to the point where he can land expert shots in the middle of chaotic close-combat and match Oliver's skill as the Green Arrow when he was impersonating him.
- Expert H2H Combatant: Despite his preference for firearms, Diggle is still an immensely skilled fighter. He's skilled in wrestling, muay thai, boxing, and jiu-jitsu, which makes it so that he can spar with Oliver and even overcome several members of the League of Assassins in close-combat.
- High-Pain Tolerance: Diggle has an incredible resistance to pain, to the point where he can still think clearly enough to escape a HIVE compound after hours of torture.
“ | We're terrific! ...I've been waiting to say that.
— Curtis Holt
|
” |
An Bronze-medal Olympic athlete turned employee of Palmer Technologies, Curtis Holt came to the attention of Felicity Smoak, CEO of the company and fiancee of Oliver Queen, after he attempted to use an algorithim of his own design to give company-wide pay raises. A close ally of Felicity during her time at the company, Curtis frequently worked as a backup "computer nerd" to Team Arrow during their war with Damien Dahrk.
Following Felicity's removal from the company, Curtis stayed by her side in helping her recruit a new Team Arrow. While trying to recruit Rene Ramirez aka Wild Dog, Curtis was mugged, leaving him intensely shaken and vowing to learn to defend himself. Training under Oliver convinced Curtis to take the name "Mr. Terrific" after his favorite wrestler and use a mixture of Olympic skills and wrestling to help defend Star City.
Equipment:
- Mr. Terrific suit: Consisting of a black T-shaped mask and a multicolored Fairplay jacket, Curtis's suit looks simplistic, but is backed up with a layer of kevlar, enabling him to stay safe and agile.
- T-Spheres: A pair of floating, automated drones created by Curtis during his time at Palmer Technologies. He uses them primarily as a weapon for fighting crime, with numerous functions such as:
- Linking to computers/data via "quantum computing."
- Self-targeting projectile.
- Used as explosives, although this was originally seen as a fault in the original design.
- Able to track any type of technology if given a piece of its circuitry.
- Forming a laser grid between the spheres.
- Can serve as surveillance drones.
- Can be loaded with several CCs of adrenaline, should one need a jumpstart.
Skills:
- Peak Physical Condition: Like the rest of Team Arrow, Curtis works out constantly, and has largely kept his Olympic athlete physique.
- High-Intellect: Curtis is a brilliant and accomplished scientist, having graduated with degrees in chemistry and engineering and quickly worked his way into a top position at Palmer Technologies. He's a skilled hacker, capable of decoding heavily encrypted messages, splicing into robotic technology, and reverse-engineering entirely alien equipment with the assistance of Felicity, and a brilliant inventor, as showcased by his creation of the T-Spheres.
- Skilled H2H Combatant: Although the least skilled member of the team, Curtis is still a capable fighter. With assistance, he has been able to overcome members of the League of Assassins and the elite Nazis of Earth X in close-quarters.
“ | Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you're my second chance.
— Dinah Drake
|
” |
An undercover cop working for the Central City Police alongside her partner/lover Vincent Sobel, things took a drastic turn for Dinah when mobster Sean Sonus discovered her identity and had her and Vincent tortured. Vincent was seemingly killed in front of her just as the STAR Labs particle accelerator exploded. Engulfed in energy, Dinah screamed, giving her a power very similar to that of the previous Black Canaries. Following Vincent's funeral, Dinah resigned, then began hunting down criminals across the country.
While working in Hub City, Dinah was caught by Team Arrow, who urged her to join them in fighting crime. Dinah agreed, joined the Star City Police, and began training and working with the team as a late addition. After befriending former captain Quentin Lance, Dinah was given permission to use the mantle of Black Canary as an identity, as Quentin deemed her worthy of succeeding his late daughter Laurel.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Black Canary suit: Much like the previous Black Canary suits, Dinah's is padded with a mix of leather and kevlar for maximum protection.
- Bo Staff: Dinah's weapon of choice is a bo staff, a trait picked up from her time undercover with a street gang in the early 2000's.
- Sonic Amplifier: Designed by Curtis, Dinah's dampener enables her to boost and focus her scream on specific targets. With the dampener, she can scream up to 250 decibels.
Skills and Abilities:
- Peak Physical Condition: As the best trained member of the new team, Dinah has frequently showcased the most physical acumen, pulling off stunts of parkour and agility in split-second scenarios, alongside being the most capable of holding her own in an actual fight with Oliver or Diggle.
- Honed Senses: As a result of metahuman genetics, Dinah has enhanced senses of sight, hearing, and perception, making her frequently the first person to sense danger or an ambush and react accordingly.
- Master H2H Combatant: Years as a cop and vigilante have made Dinah an expert fighter, and she's frequently able to defeat people much larger and stronger than her with minimal effort. On several occasions, she's gone toe-to-toe with the likes of Vigilante, Black Siren, and China White and nearly come out on top, and was able to bring down Diggle with the help of Curtis, who hacked his cybernetic arm implant.
- Skilled Stick Fighter: Dinah's such an impressive staff wielder that she even surprised Diggle, who taught Oliver how to use the weapon, during a sparring session and she uses it as her primary weapon in combat.
- Skilled Marksman: While not a gun user as Black Canary, Dinah is still a crack shot as a cop, and she's frequently one of the best marksmen in the SCPD during shoot-outs.
“ | Sorry, hoss. But if the bad guys got guns, I'm strapping up too.
— Rene Ramirez
|
” |
A resident of the Glades, the most dangerous district in Star City, Rene Ramirez's entire course of his life changed when Quentin Lance, then just a beat cop, chose not to arrest him for vandalism and instead urged him to choose a better path. Inspired by his advice, Rene would go on to join the Navy SEALs, ultimately being discharged for trying to beat information out of a valuable prisoner. Following his discharge, Rene married a woman named Laura and had a daughter named Zoe. Rene discovered that Laura was a drug addict, and resolved to deal with the problem when he and Zoe got home from a baseball game later that night. Unfortunately, Laura's dealer beat them to it, ransacking the house and holding her at gunpoint. Rene was able to reach the gun he kept in a safe, but in the ensuing struggle, the dealer accidentally discharged his gun and killed Laura. Following this, Rene lost custody of Zoe.
Inspired by Oliver Queen's killing of Damien Dahrk, a frustrated Rene took to the streets as the vigilante Wild Dog, frequently clashing with Oliver, who disagreed with his more brutal methods. Sensing Rene's potential, Oliver recruited Rene to Team Arrow, where he frequently acts as the disobedient blunt force instrument of the team.
Skills:
- Peak Physical Condition: As a former NAVY Seal, Rene continues to keep in shape, to the point where he was able to deflect an arrow shot at him by Oliver.
- Skilled H2H Combatant: Rene is a tough and relentless fighter, often willing to go for more disabling hits in fights with dangerous foes. He's been able to hold his own against the likes of Tobias Church and Derek Sampson, two immensely skilled and brutal foes.
- Expert Marksman: As a former SEAL, Rene is an expert with a variety of firearms, and he's capable of hitting targets while in motion alongside dual-wielding effectively.
- High-Pain Tolerance: Like his namesake, Rene is incredibly difficult to keep down, to the point where Oliver had to beat him into a coma in order to stop him from killing Black Siren.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Wild Dog Suit: Rene traded in his old look for armor designed by Curtis. The Wild Dog suit is a multicolored tactical suit with a tactical mask, armored well-enough to enable him to survive a gunshot, followed by a sharp fall off a bridge, with little injuries.
- Dual Handguns: Rene's primary weapons as Wild Dog are a pair of customized Beretta 93Rs that can shoot full-auto, though he's also a fan of sniper rifles and shotguns for more dangerous encounters.
Team Flash[]
“ | My name is Barry Allen, and I am the fastest man alive.
— The Flash
|
” |
Barry Allen was only a child when his mother was murdered by a mysterious yellow blur, and his father was sent to jail for the crime. Barry was adopted by Joe West, an officer for the Central City police department, and quickly fell in love with his daughter Iris. Fascinated with science, Barry became a forensic expert for the police, while continuing to investigate strange activity on the side. One night, Barry returned to his lab and was struck by lightning created by the STAR Labs particle accelerator exploding, sending him into a year-long coma. When Barry awoke, he was under the care of Dr. Harrison Wells, a pariah after the explosion, and his assistants Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow. Discovering he had super-speed, Barry began using his newfound gifts to take down other metahumans, protect the people of Central City, and most importantly, find his mother's killer. (This is S2 Flash, I just don't feel like writing in all of S1's time-travel lunacy.)
Equipment:
- Flash suit: Designed by S.T.A.R Labs, the Flash suit is designed to resist heat and abrasion, alongside resisting other elements such as cold. It's also built to keep S.T.A.R Labs informed of Barry's condition both through numerous monitors built into the suit and earpieces designed to resemble lightning bolts.
Powers and Abilities:
- Genius-Level Intellect: Barry is an incredibly gifted forensic scientist and thinker, capable of forming accurate theories about crime scenes with little evidence. He is also a capable tactician and leader, as he effectively led Team Flash without the help of "Harrison Wells", his mentor.
- Decent Hand-to-Hand Combatant: While nowhere near Green Arrow in terms of fighting skill, Barry can hold his own in a fistfight.
- Superhuman Speed, Agility, and Reflexes: Barry's metahuman ability is a connection to the Speed Force, which grants him the ability to move far faster than any human being. He's currently capable of running at Mach 2, and running up the side of buildings and across water without risk of gravity weighing him down. His speed has also gone to his reflexes, enabling him to react to things as though they were occurring in slow motion.
- Superhuman Endurance: Barry's enhanced durability enables him to survive attacks that would kill a normal human, like being struck with lightning or savagely beaten by the Reverse-Flash, who hits with the force of a moving car.
- Healing Factor: Since his cells regenerate far faster than normal, Barry has a healing factor that can bounce back from things such as a broken wrist in a matter of hours. The healing factor works to the point where drugs and alcohol have little effect on him, and being injected with 2.000 milligrams of horse tranquilizer only slowed him down momentarily. The healing factor is so strong he can heal from a broken spine in just a week. Barry can also spread this healing factor to others by touching them and allowing them to briefly access the speed force, alongside giving them the same protective field he uses in motion.
- Enhanced Strength: Barry often uses the force generated from his speed by channeling it into his attacks, and his punches can send people flying.
- Intangibility: Barry can vibrate his body so as to make himself intangible, enabling him to phase through solid objects, or expel dangerous toxins from his body.
- Speed vacuum: Barry is capable of using his speed to control air flow. He can create giant vortexes to suffocate people by running around them, and can create tornadoes by moving his arms in a circular motion.
- Electrokinesis: Barry moves so fast that he creates electricity, and he can use it for a wide variety of usages, such as channeling static through his hands or even throwing it as lightning bolts.
- Mirages: Barry can create mirages of himself by bouncing back and forth too fast for humans to tell the difference, disorienting them.
“ | I just love a good pop culture reference in a moment of crisis.
— Cisco Ramon
|
” |
A young inventor and technological prodigy, Cisco Ramon is one of the most consistent and loyal employees of STAR Labs, staying through, alongside his coworker Caitlin Snow, after the massive particle accelerator explosion that created numerous metahumans and left forensic scientist Barry Allen in a coma. Put under the care of STAR Labs, Barry awoke to discover that he had gained the powers of super-speed, and set out to stop the metahumans created by the explosion, with Caitlin, Cisco, and their mysterious mentor Dr. Harrison Wells as his support crew. Unbeknownst to them, Wells had been killed and replaced by Eobard Thawne, Barry's future nemesis, who needed Barry's super-speed in order to gain back his own powers.
Cisco would become one of the most important support members of any superteam, and eventually step up as a field member when he discovered that his exposure to the particle accelerator had given him the power to see visions and open portals througg time and space, or as he called it, "vibe", alongside enabling him to see events throughout time and space.
Equipment:
- Vibe Goggles: A pair of goggles designed by Earth-2's Harrison Wells, they harness Cisco's brain waves so that he can access his visions for longer periods of time and get a better sense of the point of the vision.
- Vibe Suit: A black, yellow, and burgundy suit designed by Cisco, the suits primary feature beyond protection is the Vibe gauntlets, which allow Cisco to control and direct his vibe blasts, where he had only been capable of more vague bursts beforehand.
Powers and Abilities:
- Dimensional Energy Manipulation: Cisco's exact metahuman powers are a connection to the natural energy and vibrations of the universe, which he can manipulate to his benefit for various purposes.
- Dimensional Awareness: Called "vibing", Cisco can see and perceive various events through time and space. Initially coming to him as dreams, he would later finesse the visions to the point where he can see specific individuals fates by touching them or their possessions. The visions are often hazy and dark, with Cisco unable to interfere with them, though speedsters such as Zoom or Barry can see and communicate with him within the visions.
- Interdimensional Travel: Cisco can use his powers to open portals to separate dimensions, though he requires exact knowledge of where's he's going to get a specific location. As a much easier task, he can open portals throughout the same dimension, enabling small groups to travel across the world in a matter of seconds.
- Vibe Blasts: Cisco can channel his vibrations into pure energy and fire them with enough force to send fully-grown adults flying.
- Genius Intellect: Cisco is one of the smartest people in the Arrowverse, frequently working as an inventor and supporter of numerous superheroes, with excellent skill in fields such as engineering, biology, and computing. He's built not just Barry's suit, but also improved upon the Green Arrow and Black Canary suits and designed weaponry for Leonard Snart's crew.
“ | Right, I'm the queen of letting these people down. But you know what? They're still here. No matter how much I disappoint them, they still show up for me. I don't really understand it, but I think that's part of this whole friends thing.
— Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
|
” |
A trained neurosurgeon, Caitlin Snow, alongside Cisco Ramon and fiancee Ronnie Raymond, was one of the few members of the inner circle of Harrison Wells. When Wells activated the STAR Labs particle accelerator, Ronnie, a structural engineer, went with Cisco to try and contain the blast. Recognizing the damage as too great to fix, Ronnie urged Cisco to put the area on lockdown, and he was seemingly killed in the ensuing explosion while everyone else was exposed to the dark matter released by the accelerator. A grieving Caitlin stayed with STAR Labs to take care of the comatose Barry Allen.
When Barry awoke and discovered his powers, Caitlin worked as a member of "Team Flash", where she discovered that an alternate version of her had gained ice powers and become "Killer Frost". After Barry changed the timeline in an effort to save his mother, Caitlin gained her own version of these powers, with Killer Frost functioning as a secondary personality that takes over in moments of anger, causing her hair and eyes to turn snow-white. Caitlin struggled with Frost for some time, eventually making a truce with her when they agreed to share her body, with Caitlin working as a support member while Frost fought in combat.
Powers and Abilities:
- Cryokinesis: Killer Frost is capable of absorbing heat from the area around her, reducing the temperature and freezing nearby targets. She uses this ability often to freeze enemies solid to the point where they can be shattered, while she can also create large ice structures like bulletproof shields and icicles that can be thrown as projectiles. She also uses it for transportation, creating ice slides and waves to travel on. Even her mere presence drops the temperature in the room and creates a mist.
- Healing Factor: Killer Frost's metabolism drops to offset the affects of cold on skin tissue, enabling her to survive and recover from injuries at a much faster rate. The healing factor is suggested to be stronger than even Barry's, as Caitlin was turned into Killer Frost in order to survive a fatal seizure brought on by stab wounds.
- Cold Immunity: Killer Frost has a natural resistance to the cold, to the point where she can run through a snowstorm unimpeded.
- Freeze Breath: Killer Frost can use her breath to freeze targets or simply knock people back.
- Skilled Medic: As her primary field, Caitlin is often employed as the primary doctor of Team Flash, and she's capable of treating and identifying a wide variety of injuries and ailments. At one point, she actually self-operated (with assistance) on herself following a fight with supervillian Abra Kadabra.
- Skilled Fighter: Having worked as enforcer for criminals during her time away from the team, Caitlin is a skilled street fighter, capable of reversing an arm bar and fighting a squad of Earth-X Nazis on her own.
“ | Real heroes, they find a way to rise above that fear and make a difference anyway. Even if it kills them in the process. So, this is me, rising up. Hopefully without the dying part.
— Ralph Dibny
|
” |
An unscrupulous detective of the CCPD, Ralph Dibny was the lead investigator in the case of a woman who had been murdered under suspicious circumstances. Ralph, convinced it was her husband and that he had rearranged the crime scene to take the heat off of him, arranged evidence to implicate him, only to be outed as a fraud by Barry Allen. Discharged and disgraced, Ralph began working as a private detective, and found himself on a bus exposed to dark matter, giving him the power of elastic skin and reuniting him with Barry, with whom he had a bitter distaste for.
Working with STAR Labs to learn to control his new powers, Ralph would gain a newfound respect for Barry, with the speedster coming to consider Ralph a friend. When Barry was framed for the murder of Clifford DeVoe, Ralph would step up as Elongated Man, central hero of Star City, hoping to prove himself as a true hero after all.
Equipment:
- Elongated Man suit: A black and red suit designed to look cooler than the previous outfit, the suit is made of an adaptive nano-weave structure that imitates Ralph's body movments.
Skills and Abilities:
- Elasticity: Ralph's metahuman power is the ability to stretch, contort, or compact the various parts of his body into various shapes and sizes. This power can be utilized in numerous ways:
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Ralph's skin has rendered him basically indestructible, and he's been shown capable of taking a bullet directly to the head and simply bouncing it off of his skin, being bitten by a skeletal T-Rex in a way that would've torn a regular human in half, and being hit directly with corrosive acid that only left superficial wounds on his knees and chest.
- Shape-Shifting: With some memorization, Ralph can transform himself into and briefly imitate anyone, regardless of weight, height, or skin color. He used it to disguise himself as Clifford DeVoe to exonerate Barry, and has turned parts of his body into weapons such as hammers, giant fists, or even something as specific as the sonic scepter.
- Super-Strength: Ralph's elasticity has greatly boosted his strength, to the point where he could grab a helicopter and stop it mid-flight.
Legends of Tomorrow[]
“ | Remember: legends never die.
— Sara Lance
|
” |
The younger sister of Oliver Queen's girlfriend Laurel Lance, Sara was secretly engaging in an affair with Oliver, to the point that Oliver brought her on the doomed trip to the Queen's Gambit. When the boat went down, Sara seemingly died, only to be rescued by Anthony Ivo and the crew of the Amazo, who were looking for a mysterious serum known as Mirakuru. In their hunt for the serum, Sara was reunited with Oliver on Lian Yu and ended up siding with him and Slade Wilson in stopping the power-hungry Ivo, but a Mirakuru-injected Slade destroyed Ivo's ship and seemingly killed Sara once again in a fight with Oliver.
In reality, Sara was rescued by Nyssa Al-Ghul of the League of Assassins, and Sara trained with the League after falling in love with Nyssa. Taking the name Ta-er al-Shafer (Arabic for "canary"), Sara would eventually return to Starling City when she learned that Oliver was alive and working as the Hood. Taking the vigilante name Canary, Sara helped Oliver battle Slade and his cult, the Church of Blood, but returned to the League in return for their assistance. Sara returned a year later and was killed by a brainwashed Thea Queen as part of a plot by Malcolm Merlyn. Against numerous warnings, Laurel brought her sister to the Lazarus Pit, resurrecting her without a soul. With John Constantine's help, Sara was able to regain her soul, and briefly worked alongside Team Arrow and Laurel before accepting Rip Hunter's request to join the Legends of Tomorrow, working as his second-in-command before eventually stepping up to lead the team.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Batons: Sara's primary weapons are a pair of collapsible batons that can be combined into a bo staff.
- Knives: Sara uses a variety of throwing knives and shuriken in ranged combat, alongside carrying a combat knife for closer encounters.
- Scarf: A tactic taught to her by Nyssa, Sara carries a long scarf for acrobatic feats like descending from the ceiling.

Skills and Abilities:
- Peak Physical Conditioning: Years of training with a variety of people have put Sara at the absolute pinnacle of training and skill, and she's regularly recognized as one of the most dangerous people in the Arrowverse. She's capable of catching arrows out of mid-air, pulling off difficult acrobatic acts with ease, and singlehandedly defeating the rest of the Legends in a fight by picking them off one-by-one, alongside functioning as the team's leader and spotter, recognizing danger before anyone else does and noticing minor details like the employees of a bank all being armed.
- Master H2H Combatant: Using a style recognized as a mixture of wing chun and jeet kune do, Sara is one of the best fighters in the League, capable of defeating renowned combatants like Vandal Savage, Malcolm Merlyn, and Prometheus in single combat. She once defeated a Roman Legionare in full plate with a sword barehanded, and has effortlessly tossed Mick Rory, a man nearly twice her size.
- Skilled Stick Fighter: As her primary weapons are her batons, Sara is an expert in the usage of them, regularly outdueling Oliver Queen in sparring sessions and defeating multiple enemies in quick succession.
- Expert Marksman: Sara is an excellent shot with a variety of weapons, to the point where she can kill a man by throwing her baton at him and plug the barrel of a gun with her shuriken, disabling it.
- High Pain Tolerance: Sara's training with the League has rendered her effectively immune to torture, to the point where she was capable of being stitched up without anesthetic or even flinching.
- Stealth Master: Sara is an expert of stealth, capable of infiltrating pretty much any compound without trying, to the point where an amused Malcolm Merlyn, a former Ra's Al Ghul, complimented her skill when she got the drop on him.
- Expert Tactician: Sara's intellect and skills enabled her to become captain of the Waverider following the disappearance of Rip Hunter, and her leadership has enabled the team to overcome some truly desperate situations.
“ | You make it sound like using an advanced exoskeleton to fight crime and save the city is a Looney Tunes idea.
— Ray Palmer
|
” |
A genius inventor and CEO of Palmer Technologies, Ray Palmer was one of the many people who lost a loved one to Slade Wilson's attack on Starling City. Swearing to both rebuild Starling and ensure that no one would have to suffer his loss, Ray purchased the recently bankrupt Queen Consolidated, and used it's Applied Sciences division to build the Atom suit from a dwarf star alloy. With the suit, he became the Atom, a tech-based vigilante and frequent ally of the Arrow, whether the Arrow likes it or not.
Equipment:
- Atom ExoSuit: Designed by Ray himself, the Atom Suit gives Ray numerous abilities, such as:
- Flight: One of the major abilities of Ray's suit is flight due to the jetpacks mounted on the back, shoulders, arms, and legs, and he's shown himself capable of pulling off difficult feats with ease, alongside easily hovering.
- Enhanced Strength and Durability: The suit enhances Ray's strength and durability to impressive levels, to the point where he can get hit with a missile and survive, and hurl Deadbolt across a room and leave a dent in the wall behind him.
- Hard-Light Blasts: The Atom suit is capable of firing incredibly powerful bursts of light. Ray can also adapt the arm cannons to blast ionic energy that can shrink targets to much smaller sizes.
- Electricity: The suit's gloves are capable of firing high-voltage electricity from the fingertips and blasting targets with it.
- Advanced HUD: The Atom suit comes equipped with an incredibly advanced HUD, capable of scanning an object and showing large amounts of information on it in a matter of seconds, creating a 3D representation of the environment, and syncing with his weapons system, enabling Ray to fire immediately after selecting a target.
- Size Alteration: The suit is capable of shrinking down to a couple of inches, and even keeping the user shrunk outside of the suit. The suit is also capable of making Ray grow, though he can only grow specific limbs (such as enlarging arm to knock out a group of foes) unless he's connected to a strong enough power source.
Abilities:
- Peak Condition: Ray, like most of Team Arrow, is at peak physical activity due to constant exercise.
- Genius-Level Intellect: With an IQ of 140 and a PhD, Ray is one of the smartest men alive, capable of building the Atom suit and enabling it to shrink, alongside work with the STAR Labs team to help repair it.
- Skilled Survivalist: After being stranded in the Cretacoeus period for six months, Ray showed a notable improvement in survival skills and dealing with hardships. He's been able to survive vigorous torture at the hands of Damien Dahrk, and has been able to improvise his way out of tense situations without his suit.
“ | I'm a historian. I specialize in deductive historical reconstruction. In layman's terms, I'm a time detective.
— Nate Heywood
|
” |
A historian and grandson of Commander Steel of the World War 2-era superteam the Justice Society of America, Nate Heywood was one of the few people to notice the strange aberations in the timeline, namely the Nazis nuking New York and World War 2 lasting until 1947. With Oliver Queen's help, Nate was able to reform the Legends, who had been stranded throughout time, to stop the Legion of Doom. Working as the team's newest member, Nate was injected with a biomolecular enhancer that gave him the power to turn his skin into steel, enabling him to take part in combat operations and do the Heywood name proud.
Along the way, Nate would form a close friendship with Ray Palmer and fall in love with Amaya Jiwe, the Vixen of the 1940's, though they were both aware that the relationship would not last.
Equipment:
- Steel Suit: Built from the remains of the dwarf star alloy Ray used to rebuild his suit, the Steel suit is a star-spangled armor built so that Nate could have his own superhero costume while paying homage to the legacy of his grandfather.
Powers and Abilities:
- Steel Transformation: Nate is able to turn his skin into a form of solid alloy best resembling steel, greatly enhancing his strength and durability while he can retain his normal agility and mobility.
- Healing Factor: Injection with the enhancer cured Nate's hemophilia and greatly enhanced his natural healing abilities. He can immediately recover from being caught in the blast zone with an artillery strike, and any wounds sustained outside of his armored form instantly heal once he's has transformed.
- Superhuman Durability: Nate's steel form is incredibly durable, capable of easily blocking bullets, knives, swords, and withstanding a fall from hundreds of feet in the air with zero sign of injury. He is not totally indestructible, as weapons made from dwarf star alloy or particularly strong metals can pierce his armor.
- Superhuman Strength: Nate's strength is enhanced to the point where he can stop a train in it's tracks and easily defeat Vixen, who was using her totem to channel a gorilla's strength, in a fight.
- Expert Historian: Inspired by Indiana Jones, Nate has an extensive knowledge of world history, enabling him to recognize anomalies and track down the Legends throughout history. This even enabled him to detect that something was wrong in the timeline in which the Legion of Doom altered history to rule unopposed.
- H2H Training: While far from an expert, Nate's training with members of the Legends has taught him a fighting style best recognized as a mixture of brawling and boxing to work alongside his strength.
- Skilled Engineer: Nate has a strong understanding of engineering, which made it so that he could design an alarm system that detects anomalies in the timeline.
“ | I choose to protect people from those who would prey upon them.
— Amaya Jiwe
|
” |
The Vixen of the 1940s and the grandmother of the current Vixen, Amaya Jiwe was a loyal member of the Justice Society of America, and was suspicious of the Legends during the team-up between the two groups. When Society leader Rex Tyler was murdered, a vengeful Amaya snuck onto the Waverider and attacked the Legends, convinced they were responsible for his death. After a brief fight, the Legends were able to prove that the Legion of Doom was responsible, and she joined the team to avenge Rex's death. Eventually, Amaya stayed on the team partly out of desire to do good and out of attraction to Nate Heywood, with whom she fell in love, though they later break up to ensure the timeline.
Equipment:
- Anansi Totem: One of the six magical totems designed to protect the tribes of Zambesi, the Anansi Totem is a powerful necklace capable of connecting the wielder to the life force of animals, enabling them to harness the animal's powers.
Powers and Abilities:
- Anansi Totem: The Totem gives Amaya a wide variety of animal-based powers for her to access and wield.
- Animal Empathy: By manifesting the spirit of animals, Amaya is able to communicate and understand the emotions of a variety of creatures.
- Avatar Projections: Amaya can manifest energy constructs of the various animals in the spirit world, enabling her to use them as soldiers to aid her in a fight.
- Shield Projection: Amaya can create a shield to protect herself from projectiles.
- Enhanced Agility: By harnessing the power of creatures like dolphins or cheetahs, Amaya can become much more agile.
- Enhanced Strength: By harnessing the power of beasts like the gorilla, rhinoceros, elephant, or grizzly bear, Amaya can greatly boost her strength in a fight.
- Thermal Insulation: The totem protects Amaya from extreme conditions like the tundra.
- Underwater Breathing: Through the form of the dolphin, Amaya is capable of breathing underwater.
- Wall Crawling: With the form of a spider, Amaya can crawl along walls. Notably, these powers work even as she sleeps, as Nate and Stein found her sleepcrawling one morning.
- Expert Marksman: When using a knife or shuriken, Amaya was able to strike with deadly pinpoint accuracy, knocking a sandwich out of Mick Rory's hand from across the room and seamlessly switching a cooking knife between both hands in a close-quarters fight.
- Master H2H Combatant: As a fifth-degree black belt, Amaya is one of the most skilled combatants on the team, at one point fighting Sara to a near standstill before picking off the crew one-by-one.
- Stealth Mastery: Amaya is an expert infiltrator, capable of working undercover with no suspicion and even sneaking aboard the Waverider without anyone, even the hyperadvanced AI Gideon, noticing.
“ | Fire, it's undefinable. Heat, light, energy. It's an evolution when things burn.
— Mick Rory
|
” |
Recruited by Rip Hunter because he knew that Leonard Snart (better known as would never join without him, Mick Rory is a dangerous criminal armed with an obsession with fire. While Snart came around to represent more heroic ideals, Mick struggled, and eventually betrayed the team to work with space pirates. After his defeat, Snart left Mick behind in an unknown time period, where he was captured and tortured by the Time Masters into becoming a bounty hunter known as Chronos. Working as their top hunter, Mick would be captured by the Legends, who helped him overcome his conditioning and brought him back onto the team. Operating largely to spite the Time Masters, Mick would eventually become a genuine member of the team after Snart's sacrifice, staying on to honor the memory of his old friend.
In the battle with the Legion of Doom, Mick would betray the team once again, only to defect and help his true friends once he realized how boring the Legion-altered timeline was and how little he was actually appreciated by the Legion.
Weapons and Equipment:
- Heat Gun: Mick's beloved weapon is a heat gun that generates a beam capable of burning at "absolute hot" temperature. The beam can burn through pretty much anything in it's path, but it has been modified to deal non-lethal damage to human targets if Mick isn't in the position to kill anyone.
Skills and Abilities:
- Peak Physical Condition: As a career criminal, Mick is at the top of his physical prime, capable of overpowering Sara through sheer brute force and crushing a man's head with a single stomp of his boot. He's also shown to be highly resilient, as it took weeks for the Time Masters to break him through torture.
- Expert Brawler: While he lacks the precision or finesse of his teammates, Mick is an expert fighter, at one point singlehandedly defeating a team of League of Assassins members, knocking out Julius Caesar with one point, and brutally beating a young Vandal Savage to a pulp with no assistance.
- Temporal Understanding: His time as Chronos gave Mick an in-depth understanding of the time-space continuum, and has been shown capable of resisting the effects of manipulations of time and withstanding the harshness of large-scale time jumps.
- Skilled Tactician: Despite coming off as "dumb muscle", Mick has regularly shown himself to be a surprisingly effective leader in certain situations, such as when he organized the Legends in a combat mission without moving from his recliner or laying out a variety of lethal and nonlethal traps to stop the crew from reading his sci-fi romance novel manuscript.
- Skilled Engineer: Mick is surprisingly adept at chemical engineering, having taught himself to repair his heatgun with minimal resources and perfectly memorized the design and functionality of it.
“ | Hey, I know what it's like to lose the people you love in a senseless war. It makes you desperate, but... if you really want peace, it starts with you.
— Zari
|
” |
Zari Tomaz is a Muslim survivor of the faraway future of 2042, a timeline in which both religion and metahumans are outlawed. As her family were the destined wielders of the Air Totem, this put Zari directly in the crosshairs of ARGUS, who killed her brother and arrested her, where she escaped because Kuasa, servant of Mallus, ambushed the convoy in an attempt to kill her. Surprised at her hideout by the Legends, Zari manipulated the team into helping her raid an ARGUS blacksite to obtain the Air Totem. After defeating Kuasa and escaping the black site, Zari agreed to join the team as an engineer, hoping to learn how to better control her powers from Amaya.
Equipment:
- Air Totem: A sacred necklace that serves as the source of Zari's power.
- Suit: A black and gold suit designed to give Zari a distinctive look in combat.
Powers and Abilities:
- Air Totem: Zari's powers stem from her wielding of the Air Totem, which enable her to control the powers of air.
- Air Blasts: Zari has the ability to fire blasts of compressed air from her hands, capable of easily knocking opponents away or deflecting projectiles.
- Vortex Generation: Zari can create powerful vortexes that can either shield her from damage or enable her or anyone she grabs with the vortexes to fly. These vortexes are capable of absorbing the blast from a bomb powerful enough to destroy the Waverider.
- Skilled Hacker: Life on the run from ARGUS has taught Zari how to hack into and manipulate computers and machines for survival purposes. She frequently hacked ARGUS drones in 2042, alongside being able to hack Nate's algorithm to find points where time can be changed without risk of anomaly.
- Expert Engineer: As the primary engineer of the Waverider until the arrival of Wally West, Zari has a natural understanding of machines, frequently repairing the considerable damage done to the ship.
- Skilled Fighter: Zari's learned to hold her own in a scrap, and she's shown herself as a proven fighter in larger brawls, alongside once going toe-to-toe with a possessed Sara and distracting her long enough to get the Waverider working again.
“ | What up, Central City?! The name's Kid Flash!
— Wally West
|
” |
The son of Joe West and his ex-wife, the late Francine West, Wally grew up largely unfamiliar with who his father is. When his mother died, Wally moved in with his father and, after some initial tension, became a beloved member of the West household and a member of Team Flash. When Barry accidentally caused an alternate universe known was Flashpoint in an attempt to save his mother, Wally gained Barry's powers and became known as this timeline's version of the Flash, though Barry ended up undoing this, only for the machinations of evil speedster Savitar to give Wally speedster powers regardless. Tricked by Savitar into occupying his prison in the Speed Force, Wally was rescued by Barry and Jay Garrick, who took his place in the prison.
Following Savitar's defeat, Barry realized that someone would have to repair the damage done to the Speed Force and replaced Jay in the prison, with Wally and Cisco working as the protectors of Central City until he could escape. When Barry returned, Wally decided to leave the city to discover who he really was, ending up in a Chinese monastery. Rip Hunter, searching for more allies in the fight with Mallus, ended up convincing Wally to join the fight, and he agreed to stay on the team long-term following their victory.
Equipment:
- Kid Flash suit: Designed based off of the specifications set by Barry as he saw it during the Flashpoint universe, the Kid Flash suit was given to Wally as a Christmas gift once it became clear he would need it. As it's a close match to Barry's, it can be assumed it has the same resistance to heat, abrasion, and extreme cold. While Wally abandoned the suit when he joined the Legends, it's clear he still uses it for large-scale events.
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Speed: Much like Barry and countless other speedsters, Wally's superhuman power is a natural connection to the Speed Force, with the rest of Team Flash noting he has the potential to become much more powerful than Barry. At his fastest, Wally became capable of running Mach 16, easily outpacing Barry, though Barry was able to gain on him after his time in the Speed Force. As such, he has learned many of the same abilities as Barry, including:
- Aerokinesis: Wally can rotate his arms so fast he creates vacuums or tornadoes to put out fires or knock back enemies.
- Enhanced Strength: Wally can use the momentum built up by his speed to land incredibly powerful punches. At one point, he was even able to knock out Music Meister, who had the combined powers of Supergirl and the Flash, and his punches once staggered the immensely powerful Savitar.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Wally can see things at a much faster rate than most humans, enabling him to effortlessly dodge bullets and react to things on a split-second basis.
- Vibration/Intangibility: Wally can vibrate his body so as to make himself intangible, enabling him to phase through solid objects, or expel dangerous toxins from his body.
- Superhuman Durability: Wally's physiology enables him to survive blows that would cripple or kill normal humans, including a punch from a mind-controlled Supergirl and being blasted with the Death Totem, which sent him flying backwards with such force it shattered the table he landed on.
- Healing Factor: While not as fast as Barry's, Wally's speed force connection gives him the ability to heal from severe wounds much faster than the average human. He was able to cut his hand with a knife and heal instantly, and recover from a completely broken leg in a matter of hours. This does have limits, as an alternate version of Wally had his spine broken by Savitar and still hadn't healed fully 3 years later.
- Skilled Engineer: Wally has a noted background in engineering and mechanics, to the point where he designed a car engine that could run on biodiesel and human stool. Upon joining the Legends, Zari began allowing him to take the lead in repairing the Waverider.
- Adept Hand-to-Hand Fighter: While not trained in proper combat, Wally uses his super-speed to expertly defeat unskilled foes in close combat.
Other Heroes[]
“ | My name is John Constantine. I am the one who steps on the shadows, all trench coat and arrogance. I'll drive your demons away, kick 'em in the bollocks, and spit on them when they're down, leaving only a nod and a wink and a wisecrack. I walk my path alone because, let's be honest... who would be crazy enough to walk it with me?
— John Constantine
|
” |
John Constantine was born in Liverpool, England. His mother had died in childbirth, and his father quickly blamed him for it, becoming an abusive alcoholic. Frequently abused, John gained an interest in the occult, hoping to find a way to bring his mother back from the dead. After years of learning, John became a skilled magician and legend among other users. However, during an exorcism, John summoned a powerful demon that ended up dragging the possessed soul to Hell. As punishment, he was damned. Horrified by what he had done, John retired, only returning to assist the angel Manny in stopping a Rising Darkness in return for being potentially redeemed.
At some point, John traveled to Lian Yu to obtain the Orb of Horus and ran into Oliver Queen. After Oliver saved his life from a trap, a grateful John gave him a protection spell and urged him to call him should he ever need help with the supernatural. Oliver would later cash in this favor by having John help restore Sara Lance's soul.
Powers and Abilities:
- Skilled Magician: Despite John's claims of simply "dabbling", he is incredibly skilled at the usage of various magics, and he's capable of easily determining the proper spell for a job. John has a wide variety of magic (the entirety of which can be seen here) at his disposal, and he knows how to activate it in multiple languages. His most notable abilities include:
- Pyrokinesis: John has shown himself to be capable of manipulating fire, such as being able to ignite his hands and throw fireballs at people.
- Summoning: John can summon various entities, such as demons, to fight for him, and can even channel these entities into his body.
- Magical Traps: John can set magical traps, such as enchanted circles, for various rituals, or for straight-up capturing his foes. It's unclear as to whether these traps work on everyone or just demons, as John tended to only use them when fighting demons.
- Telekinesis: John uses telekinesis to affect the inner workings of objects, such as closing and locking a door, though he can also use it in combat, as he was able to freeze a member of the League of Assassins in mid-air and kill them.
- Heightened Awareness: It's implied that John's skill with magic enables him to sense great power, as he was given an immediate sense of uneasiness when entering Star City due to Damien Dahrk.
- Occult Knowledge: John has an expert knowledge of the occult, enabling him to be prepared for just about any situation.
“ | For the last twelve years, I hid who I was. I don't have to anymore, and I don't want to waste a minute of it!
— Kara Danvers
|
” |
The niece of scientist Jor-El from the dying planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El was sent to Earth to protect her younger cousin Kal-El. Things went awry when Kara's ship was knocked off-course and sent into the Phantom Zone. Emerging from the Zone twenty-four years later, Kara arrived on Earth to find Kal, fully grown and widely considered a hero among it's people. Kal, now calling himself Clark Kent, took her to the Danvers family, who raised her as their own and helped her come to term with her own powers.
Initially living in secret, Kara ultimately stepped up as a hero when she saved Flight 237, a plane her adopted sister Alex was on, from a fatal crash. Deciding to protect her city of National City, Kara, in a costume designed by her friend Winn Schott, suited up as Supergirl, and began working with the DEO (Department of Extra-Normal Operations) to combat various threats, alien or metahuman. On one of these adventures, Kara found herself working alongside Barry Allen, a speedster who had found himself stuck on her world after pushing his powers too far. Barry helped Kara defeat the villains Siobhan and Livewire before returning to his Earth, with Kara owing him a favor or two. She would repay him by traveling to his Earth and helping the League defeat an invasion by the Dominators, and later attend his wedding to his longtime girlfriend Iris West, where she fought against the Nazis of Earth-X, led by an evil version of her calling herself Overgirl.
Equipment:
- Supergirl Suit: A suit designed to resemble that of her cousin, the Supergirl suit was designed by Winn Schott to be as immune to damage as Kara herself is, with nothing short of Kryptonite or incredibly powerful alien technology being capable of damaging it.
- Interdimensional Extrapolator: A device given to Kara by Cisco that enables her to travel between Earth-One (Arrowverse) and Earth-38 (her Earth) whenever she is needed.
Powers and Abilities:
- Kryptonian Physiology: While her abilities would be that of a normal human on her planet, exposure to Earth's yellow sun gives Kara a wide variety of abilities, from super-strength to flight to extreme durability.
- Healing Factor: Exposure to sunlight enables Kara to recover from any wounds she does sustain in combat almost instantly, to the point where she recovered from a gaping stab wound in a matter of seconds.
- Invulnerability: Kara is effectively invincible to all Earth weapons, with bullets bouncing off of her skin and knives bending against it. She has showcased immunity to most energy-based attacks, such as Barry's lightning or Mick Rory's Heat Gun. However, some alien weaponry was capable of hurting her, and attacks from foes targets equal to her strength, such as Overgirl or her own cousin Superman, can bring her down.
- Super Senses: Kara can hear and see at a much greater level than regular humans, and she's capable of picking up a sound from miles away and seeing through anything that isn't lead-based.
- Flight: Kara is able to manipulate her own gravitational field to propel and thrust herself through the air, often at hyper-sonic speeds and to the point where Barry had to actively struggle to outrace her.
- Heat Vision: By concentrating her solar energy reserves, Kara can fire blue energy beams from her eyes. The beams are intensely focused, capable of burning through solid stone metal at their strongest, but Kara has shown enough skill to the point where she can boil water with them. At full power, Kara can overload certain targets with energy, causing them to explode.
- Super Breath: Kara is able to exhale powerful gusts of wind, capable of freezing pretty much anything solid. The winds are nearly hurricane-force, capable of sending targets flying and sending people flying.
- Superhuman Speed: Even without flying, Kara can frequently break speeds of Mach 6 or 7 on foot, and can change into her Supergirl outfit in a matter of seconds. Because of this speed, her perception is greatly boosted, to the point where she can see speedsters like Barry Allen or Eobard Thawne when they step into the Speed Force.
- Superhuman Strength: Kara's strength is nearly limitless, to the point where she was capable of lifting a million tons of condensed star material and stopping a train traveling at Mach 1. Despite this, Kara's time as a human has taught her to hold back in combat, and she frequently has to push herself when confronted with powerful enemies such as other Kryptonians. She can also use this strength to leap several stories in a single bound, and clap her hands together to create a shockwave.
- Genius Intellect: As Kryptonians learn and study at a much faster rate than humans, Kara is immensely intelligent and well-learned on a variety of topics, to the point where she found high-school level science classes easy. She frequently applies this ability to investigate in her job as a reporter, alongside regularly calculating the limits of her powers on the fly.
- Expert H2H Combatant: Due to her training at the DEO, Kara has learned how to handle herself in a fight without relying on her powers. Using these skills, she was once able to narrowly overpower a brainwashed Superman and knock him out after a vicious battle.
The Scenario[]
After defeating the Avengers and balancing life in the universe, Thanos has decided to spread his ideals to other universes using the power of the Infinity Gauntlet. Upon reviving his children and arriving in the Arrowverse, he realizes that the Gauntlet only works fully in the universe it was forged in and sets out to find the Spear of Destiny, a powerful reality-warping weapon located on this universe's Earth.
Upon arrival, he decides to test the strength of it's heroes by sending the Black Order to their respective cities while he works to uncover the location of the Spear. The objectives are:
Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight are sent to Star City to draw out Team Arrow and fight them. Team Arrow's objective is to kill the invaders or at least force a retreat.
Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian are sent to Central City to battle Team Flash. Team Flash's objectives are to defeat the two, and hopefully capture at least one of them.
Meanwhile, the Legends, accompanied by Constantine, launch an attack on the Sanctuary II to rescue Ava Sharpe, who is being held captive by Thanos for information on the Spear of Destiny. The Legends's objective is to rescue Ava and escape the ship, while Thanos's is to eliminate any intruders.
Knowing that the Spear is kept within the basement of the Time Bureau, Thanos leads an assault on their base in Star City alongside the Outriders and any surviving Black Order members, where he is countered by the surviving heroes and Supergirl, who Barry has called for help. Here is where the final battle will be fought to determine the fate of Arrowverse, with half the life within hanging in the balance.
