Can somebody tell me what the process for a matchup is? I actually have an interesting idea....

Also, I know that we use the weapons and armor from the show, but there is an issue with the regular knight. A man in full plate armor has an amazingly strong collection of articulated plates on his body with only a few weak spots. He has no need for a full shield. Instead, a Late Medieval knight would more likely use the two handed longsword instead(and by the way that "broadsword" is actually called an arming sword) or a one-handed blade with a small fist shield caled a buckler. The weight of the arming sword I saw in the Knight vs. Rajput blog was also too much, it should be more like 2 and a half pounds. A typical longsword would be from 3.5 feet to 4.25 feet long and weighed from 2.5 pounds(the most thrust oriented designs, which are very slim) to 5 pounds(the ones you truly require two hands to use). I recommend a longsword for the French knight a mid-range specimen.
