Scaramouche is a devout follower and assassin for Aku, confronting a swordless Samurai Jack after destroying an entire city to get his attention. After an explosive battle with Jack, Scaramouch is damaged and explodes, leaving his head to attempt to hop his way over to Aku to bring the news of the samurai's new handicap. Though by the time Scaramouche had informed Aku, Jack had already regained his sword. Aku and Scaramouche went on to confront Jack in the hopes of finally killing him, only for the robot to be killed by Aku who was annoyed at that fact that Jack got his sword back.
Being a robot, Scaramouche posses superhuman physicality, being able to leap and jump great distances. His powers and arsenal are very music based, he posses a magic flute with which he can control ruble and create golems, a sabre he can control from a distance through scat singing, and a tuning fork dagger that can magic object it hits explode through high frequencies after hitting them.

Mettaton's long ranged weapons and large number of projectiles could keep Aku's best assassin at a distance, however it was ultimately his narcissistic obsession with his show persona and his lack of professional combat knowledge that give Scaramouche the upper edge. When combined with a number of weak points the assassin with a sassin' could abuse, experts agreed The Underground's idol stood no chance in the long run.
