Patty Fleur is a child pirate and member of Yuri Lowell's party who searches for the lost treasures of the legendary pirate Aifread and recover her lost memories. She is found by Yuri at Capua Nor, trying to enter Imperial Councilor Ragou's manor, which she is forced away from. After being caught by Yuri, Patty attempts to enter the manor again, but is stopped, so she tosses a smoke bomb down and breaks into the manor.
Upon meeting Yuri once again several times over, she fluctuates between joining and leaving his party, before eventually settling on staying after the party convinces her to come with them. Eventually, Patty does recover her memories in the Lenansla Cavern, and learns that Seifer, a pirate who had served alongside Aifread in the Siren's Fang guild, had given Aifread the Amrita in order to save his life, which transformed her into a child. Patty later finds the Maris Stella, using it to call the Atherum ghost ship. The party then faces off against Aifread's former friend Seifer, now transformed into the monstrous Cursed Wanderer, whom they defeat. To grant him peace, Patty ultimately decides to kill Seifer, and continues traveling with Yuri's party in their mission from there.
