“ | But know this: that no matter how difficult this battle might get... if you—if anyone ever tries to do you harm... Then I will heal you. No matter when, or how bad the wound... I hope you know... that I will always protect you.
— Mipha to Link

Mipha is a supporting character in the video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its spin-offs. She was the crown princess Zoras and their Champion chosen to pilot the Titan Vah Ruta, as well as the older sister to Sidon, King Zora and Sage of Water. Although she possessed potent healing magic, Mipha was also known to be a skilled spearman.
As the Zora's greatest warrior, Mipha was chosen to undergo the trial to become their Champion and pilot the Vah Ruta, which she completed. Along with the other Champions, she defended the Kingdom of Hyrule from Calamity Ganon's monsters leading up to his arrival. During this time, she grew close to Link, who she developed a crush on.
When Calamity Ganon finally arrived, Mipha and the other Champions boarded their Titans to stop him, but he was prepared. Calamity Ganon sent an aspect of himself known as Waterblight Ganon into Vah Ruta, which killed Mipha in combat and took control of the Titan. Link, meanwhile, was mortally injured defending Princess Zelda, and had to be entombed inside the Tempel of Resurrection to recover.
Despite her death, Mipha's spirit persisted inside of Vah Ruta. A hundred years later, she was reunited with Link, who had recovered from his wounds and entered the rogue Vah Ruta to subdue it. After Waterblight Ganon's defeat, Mipha imparted her ability, Mipha's Grace, onto him and aided the hero in his final battle against Calamity Ganon with Vah Ruta's laser at him. With Hyrule saved, the spirits of Mipha, the other Champions, and King Rhoam faded into the afterlife.
