The MP-443 Grach, or Yarygin PYa, is a Russian pistol that is the current standard side-arm for the Russian Army. The pistol is semi-automatic and has a double-action system. The pistol fires the 9x19 Parabellum and 9x19 7N21.
The 7N21 is a specialized bullet that has the capability to pierce armor because of its steel-tempered core. The pistol was designed by Vladimir Yarygin and the weapon is still in service since 2003. The pistol is only released in Russia and is used by both law enforcement and military departments in the country. The weapon fires 17 rounds.
