I expect, if you make your place in this band... you will come to know that your former enemies are not so different from you.
— Locus

Little is known about the life of Locus before he became an Apostle, but while many others used their newfound power for social gain, he instead became a renowned hero. Undefeated in battle and duels, Locus's stories would travel far and wide, becoming a living legend across the land. When Griffith, having ascended to the title of "Falcon of Light", returned, Locus received a vision from an oracle that urged him to seek him out. He followed this vision to the Midland city of Shet, where he pledged himself in service to Griffith, becoming a founding member of the Band of the Falcon.

Locus and the Band would prove to be a crucial turning point in Midland's war against the mighty Kushan Empire, taking part in several vital battles and even directly confronting Ganishka, the cruel emperor of the Kushan. While Ganishka wiped out the rest of his squad, this distraction enables Griffith to rescue Princess Charlotte, last surviving member of the royal family of Midland. Amidst the war, Locus often personally accompanied Griffith during his efforts at diplomacy and politicking as he gathered allies, and in the aftermath of the war, he became a trusted advisor to the Falcon of Light, becoming a trusted member of the council of Falconia.
