The Japanese Red Army (JRA), also known as the Arab-JRA, Anti-Imperialist International Brigade (AIIB), the Holy War Brigade, and the Anti-War Democratic Front was a militant communist terrorist organization active from 1971 to 2001. It was founded by Fusako Shigenobu and Tsuyoshi Okudaira in February 1971 in Palestine and was most active in the 1970s and 1980s, during which it conducted a series of terrorist attacks around the globe. Its stated goals were to overthrow the Japanese government and the monarchy, as well as to start a world revolution. Most of its attacks revolved around hijacking flights, kidnapping, mass-shooting and bombing Japanese or NATO facilities in foreign countries.
The JRA was created in the Middle East during February 1971 by Fusako, who aimed to create an international branch of the Japanese Red Army Faction. Due to the ideological difference and geographical distance with the RAF, she created the JRA. Originally, the group was part of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), but later became independent. In 1972, three members of the JRA carried out the Lod Airport massacre at Lod Airport in Israel, which became the JRA's most infamous attack.
On 8 November 2000, Fusako was arrested by Japanese authoraties when she attempted to illegally enter the country. A year later, she issued a statement that the JRA would be disbanded and that its former members should continue the revolution through legal means. The National Police Agency publicly stated that a successor group was founded the same year, called Rentai Movement.

Winner : OAS
Expert's Opinion[]
While the JRA are packed with more advanced firearms, their incompetence as fighters ultimately led to their loss. The OAS, while slightly out gunned, consists of professional soldiers who have been through WW2 and Algerian War of Independence, which is something that rogue students terrorists of JRA has never experienced.
