Izuku "Deku" Midoriya is a fictional character from the popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia, created by Kohei Horikoshi. Izuku is the main protagonist of the series and a symbol of determination and resilience.
Izuku was born in Japan in a world where having superhuman abilities, known as "quirks," was the norm. He was a rare case of a person born without a quirk, making him an outcast among his peers. However, Izuku remained unwavering in his dream of becoming a hero like his superhero idol All Might.
