The Grox are a major alien race in the video game Spore. They are race of warlike bipedal cyborgs that posses a large empire based around the core of the galaxy. Due to their advanced technology and hostile nature, the Grox are both an object of fear and fascination for the other galactic civilization and are often described as evil, almost demonic beings in ancient texts. Grox civilization is unique, as they don't fit inside any archetype.
Despite their relatively weak physicality, the Grox make up for it with high intelligence, cybernetic implants, and unique psychology that allows them to live on planets that are otherwise inhabitable to other races, though can't survive in otherwise habitable environments. Their bodies also produce a toxic substance that harms everyone but themselves.
The Grox do not use members of their own species as infantry, instead using other alien species enhanced with cybernetic implants, which include the insect-like Dronox, Instectrox, and Mites. They also use various vehicles including the Grox Grumbler tank, Groxoplane aircraft, and the Oceanic Grox watercraft. Their crowning achievement, however, is the Grox Spaceship, which possesses unlimited repair packs, a cloaking ability, and high-speed auto blasters.

A Squad of furon walked through a planet being infested by the grox. Nearby, a squad of dronox and insectrox led by a grox patrolled the wasteland. A dronox fell dead, shot by a Zap-o-matic(Grox:4 Furon: 5).
An insectrox clung to the furon's face and detonated (Grox: 3 Furon : 4) A Dronox stabbed a furon with lightening strike in the eye (Grox: 3 Furon: 3). The Grox killed a furon with pulse blast (Grox: 3 Furon: 2)
one of the remaining furon killed another dronox with his Zap-o-matic (Grox :2 Furon: 2)
Both sides retreated because of heavy losses
Winner: Tie (I know this battle sucks, but I really didn't feel like writing)
