Invasion, arrogance, contempt. These are all things which should not exist. Don't you agree?
— Geronimo

Geronimo, born Goyaałé, is a character from the mobile game Fate/Grand Order and fictionalization of the real life Apache leader of the same name. Geronimo is unique among Caster-class Servants, using a form of shamanism unique to the Apache tribe and being skilled in physical combat, rather than exclusively relying on his magic.

Originally, Geronimo was a shaman with the laid-back name Goyaałé (the one who yawns), but decided to take up arms against the colonizers after soldiers of the United States Army murdered his family. Together with a small band of Apache warriors, he waged war against the United States and Mexico. During this time, Goyaałé decided to adopt the name Geronimo after Mexican soldiers began to refer to him as Jeronimo, after the Saint Jerome who was known for fighting like a lion. Despite his best efforts, Geronimo was forced to surrender to the Americans, though never gave up his pride.

Having accomplished great feats in life, Geronimo's essence ascended to the Throne of Heroes after his death and became a Heroic Spirit. His spirit would be summoned into the Fifth Singularity to aid Ritsuka Fujimaru in restoring human history. Later, he was summoned by Ritsuka to further aid them in the Grand Order.
