GRU Division Psychotronics, also known as GRU Division "P" or simply GRU-P, originally known as the Fourth Department Abnormal Occurrences Commission, is an organization feutured in the SCP Wiki. Initially a Soviet organization and a significant force among the various factions that delt with the anomalous, GRU Division "P" was greatly reduced in strength after the fall of the Soviet Union. Without the backing of any nation, GRU Division "P" became a shell of its former self.
Founded as the Commission in 1935 by direct decree of Joseph Stalin, the organization's first task was to investigate the murder of Soviet politician Sergei Kirov. When it was discovered that Kirov was murdered through anomalous means, Stalin ordered the Commission to be expanded, putting it under the direct oversight of the Main Intelligence Directorate and reforming it into GRU Division Psychotronics. The goals of GRU-P included defending the Soviet Union from anomalous threats and conducting research into how the anomalous could be used to further the cause of communism.
During the collapse of the Soviet Union, GRU-P could not keep up with the rapid restructuring of its patron nation and suffered numerous budget cuts and the decommissioning or sale of multiple projects. This resulted in many GRU-P personnel deserting the division for the Chaos Insurgency terrorist organization or the company Marshell, Carter, and Dark. Many anomalies that the division oversaw during this time either ended up in the black market, in the hands of other organizations or became lost.
Officially, GRU Division "P" is defunct. However, members formerly associated with the organization continue to collaborate to continue their projects from before the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, keeping some semblance of the division alive.

FEAR won because of their more modern training and equipment compared to that of the GRU-P's Soviet Era counterparts.
