Chun-Li is a major playable character in the Street Fighter series of fighting games. A Chinese officer of INTERPOL and an expert martial artist, she is an enemy of the crimelord and wannabe dictator M. Bison, whom she relentlessly pursues to avenge the death of her father.
Chun-Li took an interest in martial arts from a young age, and she grew in skill rapidly, mastering many styles and even creating her own. When she was eighteeen, her father disappeared while investigating a criminal organization called Shadaloo. Chun-Li followed in his footsteps and became a detective to search for him. As part of INTERPOL, she tracked down the leader of Shadaloo, M. Bison, but was defeated by him.
With new allies in the United States Air Force, Chun-Li succeeded in destroying Shadaloo and its base, but Bison escaped. Year later, Chun-Li was invited to participate in the World Warrior Tournament, which was revealed to be a front by Bison. Alongside her new allies, Chun-Li succeeded in defeating Bison in combat, who committed suicide afterwards. This was in fact a ploy by Bison to transfer his soul into a new body, but that plan was foiled as well. Chun-Li continued to combat the remnants of Shadaloo and deal with the aftermath of Bison's actions.

Kitana threw two fans at Chun Li, who jumped over them and shot a kikoken at Kitana. Kitana used her square boost to dodge the kikoken and she slammed into Chun Li, sending her hurling towards the ground. Kitana landed and Chun Li performed a Hykuretsu kyaku and knocked Kitana back. Chun Li then used her Kaiten-teki kaku kyakushu, Kitana countered with fan lift Chun Li lost all control in the air and Kitana pressed her advantage and threw 2 of her steel fans at Chun Li, knocking her down. The injured Chun Li, stood up and Kitana tried to stab the back of Chun Li’s head but Chun Li quickly used her Kikosho. Kitana fell to the ground in pain. Shang Tsung stood and said “The winner is.” But is stops when Kitana stands up and pretty kicks Chun Li back. Kitana then began to pretty kick again which Chun Li prepared to block high, but was taken by surprise by a fake out kick. As Chun Li begins to stand Kitana throws two steel fans, which dig into Chun Li’s chest. Kitana then appeared behind Chun Li and stabbed the back of her skull with metal fans. Kitana teleported in front of Chun Li and stabbed her eyes with the steel fans. Winner Kitana

Pound-for-pound, Kitana and Chun-Li are evenly matched in terms of skill in martial arts. However, the Edenian princess has the edge over her opponent thanks to her bladed fans, aerokinesis, and assassination skills.
