Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller (June 26, 1898 – October 11, 1971) was a United States Marine Corps lieutenant general and one of the most decorated members of the Marine Corps. Puller is the only Marine and one of two US servicemen to ever be awarded five Navy Crosses. He fought guerrillas in Haiti and Nicaragua, and participated in battles of World War II and the Korean War. Puller retired from the Marine Corps with 37 years service in 1955 and spent the remainder of his life living in Virginia.

Battle vs. Georgy Zhukov (by MilitaryBrat)[]

Puller and 4 Marines are patrolling an island in the Pacific. Zhukov and 4 Soviets are also patrolling. They meet each other and dont know what to do. 1 Marine walks over to the Soviets with his Springfield. The Soviets think he's a threat and shoot him. Puller blows away a Soviet with his M1A1. They all scatter into the jungle.

Puller: 4

Zhukov: 4

Zhukov reloads his pistol when a Marine jumps at him with a .45 and a Ka-Bar. The Marine knocks the Tokarev from Zhukov and tries to stab him. But Zhukov pulls out his NR-40 and slits the Marine's throat. Meanwhile, Another Marine has a soviet in his Springfield sights and kills him. He is killed when a Soviet deposits 71 Ppsh rounds into his chest.

Puller: 2

Zhukov: 3

Zhukov kills another Marine with his Tokarev.

Puller: 1

Zhukov: 3

Puller throws a Mk 2 and kills a Soviet. Then he uses the rest of his Thompson M1A1 ammo killing another Soviet. He has his Ka-Bar only. He searches for Zhukov, and hears him reloading his Tokarev. He tackles Zhukov and the two start to fight. At first Zhukov has the upper hand. He puts his Tokarev under Puller's chin and pulls the trigger,only to find out he didn't pull back the slide. Puller seizes the oppurtunity and stabs Zhukov in the throat with his Ka-Bar.

Puller: 1

Zhukov: 0

Puller wipes off his Ka-Bar and shouts "SEMPER FI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
