Blaziken, known in Japan as Bursyamo (バシャーモ) is a Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon in the Pokémon franchise that first appeared in the video game Pokémon Sapphire and Ruby. It evolves from Combusken and is the final evolution of Torchick. It is native to the Hoenn region.
Blaziken's most defining feature, and source of pride, are its strong legs, which allow it to clear 30-story building in one leap. When in battle, Blaziken blows out intense flames from its wrists which burn brighter depending on the strength of its foe. This allows it to scorch its enemies with its punches. Despite the fact that Blaziken's unique martail arts incorporates all its limbs, it mostly favours kicks. Every several years, its old feathers burn off, and new, supple feathers grow back in their place.
When exposed to the energy of Blazikenite, Blaziken can Mega Evolve into Mega Blaziken. As Mega Blaziken, the flames from its wrists grow longer and it further hones its kicks. When it unleashes a flurry of savage kicks, its legs can begin to burn from the friction of the surrounding atmosphere. As Mega Blaziken's its power and speed continue to ramp up as its body temperature increases,
Battle vs. Typhlosion, Infernape, and Charizard (Pokémon) (by MovieStuff65)[]
No battle will be written.
Expert's Opinion[]
- Fourth Place: Blaziken - Blaziken may have had some of the most powerful moves in its Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut, but it lacked range or accuracy to be able to present a powerful front.
- Third Place: Typhlosion and Infernape - Typhlosion and Infernape each brought options that caused a split in voting. While Typhlosion had some powerful moves that could do consistent damage like Swift and Lava Plume, it wasn't capable of taking out the other entries before they took it out. Infernape had speed on its side, but the lack of raw power kept it from making a meaningful impact against the others in terms of damage.
- Winner: Charizard - Charizard had multiple advantages, with the versatile Flamethrower on its side and the ability to fly allowing it to pick and choose its fights when it wanted to.
