The AN-94 is a Russian-made assault rifle created during the 1980s. The weapons was adopted by the USSR because of its devastating rate of fire, 1800 rounds, when the weapon is switched to two-round burst mode. The rifle relatively has no recoil because the weapon moves back and forth at the same time. The weapon ways about 8.49 lbs and fires 30, 45, or 60 rounds. The main cartridge for the weapon is the 5.45x39mm. The weapon is currently being used by Russia's army and special defense groups and has been in service since 1997.
