Russian Airborne Troops vs. Parabat
RIP because I actually really like this battle in concept. But the selection of the AEK-971 for the Russian Airborne Forces just doesn't make sense to me. The rifle's only use in the field was combat testing in Chechnya by Interior Forces and Naval Infantry. Variants of the weapons system would eventually be adopted into the Russian military but not until seven years after the blog was made.
Streltsy vs. Serbian Revolutionaries
Sorry, Omni. I could not find any articles on a "Tula flintlock pistol." The only stuff I could find was a flintlock on a replica site and a pawn site. Even then, the dates on the weapons put them into the late 1700s and early 1800s, almost a century after the Streltsy had already dissolved.
