This double-bitted axe was not a weapon used for combat (in history, anyway; fantasy is another thing entirely). It was a ceremonial weapon or a symbol, and it was mostly associated with ancient Crete (as well as a recurring motif in broader depictions of Hellenic mythology elsewhere in Greece/the Near East). But any battle on this Wiki that gives the Labrys to a real, historical warrior is making shit up.
